Do you have to do separate transactions in order to get the catalina for each set of 2?

We just moved and now I am close to a Meijer. Since I don’t regularly shop there I asked a manager yesterday if there was any limit to the number of coupons I could use in a transaction. He said no. I went today with 19 Suave Professionals coupons and I planned on doing 9 transactions. After my third transaction the lady working the self scan came over and said that I could only use 6 of the same coupons in the same day. I told her she was wrong because I spoke with a manager yesterday. She brought over a manager who wanted to know who had told me that (I told her.) She said that her store’s policy was 6 coupons per day per customer and customers were not allowed to split transactions. I live in Columbus, OH. Is this normal or did I just get a bad manager? Thanks for any help or advice.

Hi Sarah, it really depends on the store. The meijer close to me (huber hts, oh) Will not let me split my transaction..blah blah blah… But the one far from me ( have to drive 15 mins) are far more nicer….i asked them ahead if i can split my transaction coz i have 20 coupons and i can only use 2 coupons in one transaction and they told me that its ok. So if there is a money maker deal i drove there coz they are so much nicer when it comes to couponing.
