About Bargains to Bounty
After several years in the elementary classroom, Jolyn redirected her career path to become a stay-at-home mom and – by necessity – a strategic shopper. Raised in Michigan on a steady diet of garage sales, frugality and general resourcefulness, reducing the family budget wasn’t so difficult, especially with coupons.
When a friend desperately needed assistance in navigating the ways of penny pinching, Jolyn shared her favorite shopping tips and websites. Yet there wasn’t a resource specific to metro Detroit that provided accurate and relevant information. Somewhat by accident, this website grew out of that need in 2009. Bargains to Bounty aims to help families bridge the gap in a challenging Michigan economy, enabling them to survive on a tight budget while providing extra to share with others in the community.
Bargains to Bounty features organized and updated sale-coupon matchup lists for many grocery stores in the metro Detroit area each week with a focus on ethical coupon use. Along with online deals, coupons and money-saving strategies, you’ll also find an amazing sense of community on the B2B Facebook page, where readers are able to interact, share deals, offer suggestions and provide assistance.
