If you haven’t been using Meijer mPerks Personalized Rewards, let me encourage you to start. The program tracks your spending whenever you enter your mPerks number at checkout. Rewards totals are calculated based on the pre-promotion price of your spending (before coupons and sales) – for example, buy 2 bottles of $10 vitamins on sale buy 1, get 1 free and you’ll earn $20 toward your mPerks Rewards. Meet your spending goal and you’ll get a digital coupon to spend across almost any category at Meijer. And of course, you can combine your saving and earning with coupons, Catalina offers, cash back offers and more!
What do you have to do? Log into mPerks and select your rewards to start earning. (It’s a free program and never too late to join).
Even better, Meijer mPerks just rolled out significant improvements in the rewards program. The design is improved AND it’s now easier than ever to earn. You could be getting FREE money based on the spending you’re already doing at Meijer anyway.
Meijer mPerks Personalized Rewards BEFORE:
- Select THREE rewards at one time. When one reward is earned before the month’s end, select a different reward underneath.
- Earn on your purchases in a single month, from the 1st of the month until the last day.
- New rewards can be selected on the 2nd of the month (meaning no earnings on the 1st of the month).
Meijer mPerks Personalized Rewards NOW:
- Select ANY or ALL REWARDS at one time. When one reward is earned, you can select it again to start a new one.
- Earn on your purchases in a 4 week period from when the reward was selected. (If you’re a Sunday shopper, for example, select your reward on a Sunday and it will end on a Sunday to maximize your spending).
- New rewards can be selected at any time.
- Find your earned rewards in your “Wallet” (previously called the “Clipped” tab).
- Easily find “related coupons” that will help you save in your reward categories.
- Click on “how it works” (near the top right of the personalized rewards screen) for helpful hints.
All updates will be available at mPerks.com and on the Meijer mobile app. The app can be downloaded for free in the iTunes App Store and in the Google Play Android app store. If you already have the app, be sure to download the update to gain access to mPerks Rewards 2.0.
If you shop and forget to enter your mPerks at checkout, contact mPerks through the website or call 1-877-363-4537 with your receipt to add your transaction! Read the mPerks FAQ for more tips!
What do you think of the new Meijer mPerks Personalized Reward upgrade? I’ll be sharing your comments with Meijer, so don’t be shy!

This is GREAT!! I logged on early this morning to load the new rewards for the month and noticed I could earn more than three, but didn’t realize I could earn them in a four week time period. Awesome! The rewards have kept me shopping at Meijer after their double coupons ended (I have to drive 20 miles round trip to get there, so it has to be worth it) and this will ensure I make the trip every week.
jmk says
Can we still clip our rewards after we shop? Or did they ‘fix’ that bug?
monique says
Would it matter now? It sounds like we can choose all of that at one time. So just choose them all before you shop and you should be covered. Right?
Jolyn says
Rewards will still update nightly, same as before. ๐
Melissa says
@jmk it wasn’t a bug. I had questions and called one day and was told that if you clip a reward they count any purchases made in the 23 hours before clipping. It was done on purpose. Not sure if they have changed it or not but it wasn’t a bug.
Jolyn says
That shouldn’t have changed at all.
donna says
FYI – If you forget to put in your mperks number you can go to the service desk – they scan the receipt and then you put it in on the pad and it appllies it – I have forgotten twice in the past month and remembered it right after I paid – so I went to the service desk and it was no problem to get the credit for my rewards
Jolyn says
Great tip – thanks, Donna!
Erin says
It seems that my rewards are delayed a day in loading. For example the old ones expired 9/2 and today 9/3 the new ones have not yet loaded. Is there some way I can fix this?
Jolyn says
The new ones should be available for you now. If you’re using the app, make sure you upgrade first.
Dawn says
I think I know what bug you are talking about. I would clip my reward, use it, and then even after a week later if I tried to clip my next earnings, it would tell me I “had to use my previous one first before clipping another”. Even though I had already spent it. I would have to leave the app, log into the website, and clip it that way :/
Marie says
The rewards clipped before the change — how long do I have now to meet the goal? It just says “Rewards in Progress.” These are ones I thought expired at the end of last month.
Marie says
Sorry — it actually says “Final Update in Progress.” Still don’t know what the expiration date is.
Erin says
Thank-you! I got them now, I needed to update ๐
cookerqueen says
So if I am not sure if I am going to buy $30 worth of toys right now…I should basically not clip it until I know I need to go buy toys and then I have 4 weeks from that date, if I don’t buy $30 worth of toys that day to then buy $30 worth of toys, correct?
Jolyn says
Exactly. Don’t clip it until you know you’ll start using it. You want as many days as possible!
Kate says
i LOVE this upgrade. I liked it before but hated choosing which reward to use & also having to earn it within a month. I understand there must be restrictions, but allowing the customer to choose which 4 weeks in which to make the purchase is awesome! It provides greater flexibility in my book, anyway. I’ve always been a Meijer shopper, their prices are typically lower than Kroger’s prices but when both of these places stopped doubling coupons I didn’t know what to do! But the mperks rewards & the specials have just put them back on top.
melissa m says
well, i just went clip crazy when i saw them all available and didn’t realize it started a 4 week tracking from then. but hopefully it’ll still work out the same. ๐
Amy says
Will these rewards change at all or will they always be these same 10? I remember they had a bakery one once.
Jolyn says
I would guess they may vary from time to time, and amounts could change as well.
Renee says
I am stoked about being able to earn more than 3 at a time which usually caused me to have to pick between the ones I wanted. However, the amount needed to earn seems to be a little higher and I hope they bring back movies and pets perks.
Nancy says
I can’t find the one on hair products. Does everyone get the same Personalized Reward choices?
melissa1 says
People get different rewards. Hair products do work for Beauty rewards if you have one of those.
Nancy says
Thanks a bunch. I have it.
Vickie says
I didn’t get one for total purchase. My daughter said she did so I’m hoping one will pop on someday when they update.
michelle says
How many times can you earn the same reward? Such as I earned the hair reward and now I can earn it again. Also do you think there is any problem with using my $5 off from my hair reward toward a new spend $20 get $5 so essentially rolling this over and over with the great pantene deal??
michelle says
Just for anyone else who may be curious about this I was able to roll my earned $5 hair reward and use it towards getting a new $5 hair reward. I’m also on my third time earning it, still not sure how many times you can earn the same reward tho.
Renee says
My husband and I have the same 10 rewards in our mperks but my daughter has 2 different ones. We both have Beauty and Frozen as part of our 10 while she doesn’t have those and has Produce and Meat ones instead.
Steph says
If I have a $5 when you spend $100 on anything, and one for $5 when you spend $30 in dairy (these are examples), will my dairy purchases count for just one of those categories or both?
Jolyn says
It will count for BOTH – and it will be on the price you paid BEFORE any coupons deduct!
Steph says
Awesome, thanks!
Marilyn says
Newspapers count toward movie, music, book reward!!!!
Heather says
You can double dip or even triple dip when earning rewards! I made a quick stop and spent $12 on frozen meijer brand chicken breasts. It was the only purchase I made so it was easy to see which reward it went to. It counted towards my frozen foods goal, my fresh meat goal (even though it’s frozen) and my total spent goal!
