KROGER COUPON POLICY and SHOPPING TIPS
You can now view the Kroger coupon policy for Michigan online.
Please that Kroger’s coupon policy clearly states in each store ad: Limit 3 Manufacturer’s Coupons will be Doubled (up to $0.50) per Like Items Purchased.
You WILL need a Kroger card to take advantage of these offers; sign up for one at the Customer Service desk if you do not have one!
NOTE on Printable Coupons: Some Kroger stores have been denying the redemption of any printable coupon over $1, so proceed with caution when using printable coupons. You can view/print the Kroger Print-at-Home Coupon Acceptance Policy here, which does not specifically restrict the use of printables over $1.
SELECT Kroger stores outside of metro Detroit (some stores in Saginaw and Genessee counties along with the Howell location – view a full list here) will double manufacturer’s coupons with face value of up to $1.00! This can mean a great savings (and some potential free items each week). If your travels happen to take you north, check the Kroger ad (search by zip code) for the areas you’re passing through. You just might want to pack your coupons, too!
Load digital coupons to your Kroger card before you shop: visit Cellfire, P&G eSaver, Shortcuts and Kroger Digital Coupons. Each website lists the e-coupons that can be loaded onto your Kroger Card so that you can save even more! E-coupons are limited to one use per card and will NOT double. Kroger digital coupons may NOT be combined with actual paper manufacturer coupons.

I have a question regarding the $5 off 5. Do these need to be in increments of 5? Meaning can I purchase 8 or 13 etc? Also is it limited to just 5 per transaction?
Sarah says
Yes you have to buy items in increments of 5. I don’t know if there’s a limit on how many times you can do it for transaction. But generally speaking on these types of promotions, at my store, there is not a limit on the number of times you can do it per transaction.
emily says
only for those that live in OHIO, coupon states only valid in ohio, penn, ny and wv
1.50 sunbeam giant bread
– .40/1 http://schwebels.com/promotions/any-schwebels-product-coupon
= .70
Jennifer says
Printed…but Sunbeam and Schwebels are different brands, aren’t they?
emily says
sunbeam is in the picture, probably manufactured by schwebels
Renee H says
Maybe I’m wrong but when I went and picked up the bread and read the label to see who makes it I didn’t see Schwebel’s name.
Haven Camp says
Did it work?
kathy r says
Kashi coupon on recyclebank 🙂
Jolyn says
Thanks for the reminder!
kori says
Just FYI: I found several holiday clearance items. There were coupons for BC cookie mix (in the pouches) and there are several clearanced at $1.29, if you have the .50 off, these will be $.29. I bought the pumpkin spice at the $1.29 because I’m out of the coupons. They were really good! I also found a Kroger brand vanilla cream cheese on clearance for .50 and made a yummy filling out of it with confectioners sugar and a little cool whip and then made sandwiches with the cookies!! Yummy! Glad they’re gone because I don’t even want to know how fattening they were 🙂
Jen says
Confused on the Secret..?? They would be .29 each, even if your store doubles, right??
Crystal says
I was just wondering the same. The coupon is $2 off of two. I agree that each deodorant would be .29 each.
melissa says
At saginaw store the secret named on the coupons were 2.29 AFTER the 5for $5off deal, making them 1.30 each…not a good deal. Be careful. the scent expressions and outlast listed on coupons were more then the regular secret. If you use the coupons correctly, the wouldnt apply to the regular secrets that total .29
Jolyn says
Thanks – that’s why the matchup said “if included” – it wasn’t clear from the ad whether the coupon varieties were included. I removed the matchup.
Tiffany says
I wondered why the Secret was removed from the updated list. I purchased the Secret deoderant at the Dearborn location. I usually find the small Suave on sale, so $.79 cents isn’t such a bad deal for the regular size Secret.
Katie says
Anyone know if the “double to 1 dollar” stores stopped doubling on the 31st as was rumored?
Jolene Flores says
Grand Blanc, Flint, Burton and Swartz Creek stores are all still DOUBLING!!
melissa says
Saginaw stores still doubling also 🙂 thank goodness!
Cindy says
Is the Howell Kroger’s still going to double up to $1.00 after Jan.31st?
Robin says
My store (Swartz Creek, MI) doubled all my $1.00 off today.
Jolene Flores says
My store the secret ended up being 1.49 ish, only the cheaper secret was under .50 cents but it was not the one specified in the coupon!!!! Still a good deal for 4.00 deoterant but the rest of the items listed were RIGHT ON. this was in GRAND BLANC.
Jen says
Ok, thanks!
And thanks again for getting this list together so fast Jolyn and for EVERYTHING you do!!!!! I wouldn’t know what to do without this site!!
Jolene Flores says
I am glad I share the same sounding name as the infamous JOLYN 🙂
Rodney says
I think you mean famous, “infamous” refers to someone that is evil, has a bad reputation, etc. Like a murderer.
Jolene Flores says
sorry, FAMOUS LOL
Robin says
The online weekly add shows a limit of 5 rewards per transaction on the mega sale.
Robin says
Has anyone tried buying the Charmin Freshmates on the mega sale? They are listed on the check list I picked up at the store but not marked on the shelf.
emily says

Renee says
Kroger’s softcoin site has a new promo going on called Pop to Save-something like that. It;s a game where you have to check 5 items to put on a shopping list and after you pick any 5 items it unlocks balloons. You then pop a balloon to see if you have won. The prizes are loaded to your card $1, $5, $10 and $15 off your next order. You can play once a day and I played yesterday and today and won $1 both times but hey it’s a $1! The game goes on until Jan 12.
Karen says
Thank you so much. I just played the Pop to Save game and won $10. I’ll be playing
that game every day. Thank again.

50 oz Tide is $5.99 -$1 with 5 $1.50 coupon 12-30 P&G makes them 3.49. I would consider this a great price for Tide.
Robert / PurpleBubba says
Yes this is a good Tide price. For the past 2 years the Tide price with coupon has been good for this sale. It was down to $2.99 last year so $3.49 now with prices rising is probably as good as it gets.

A little off topic but I wanted to let everyone know that Kroger at 15 Mile and Ryan Road (I think it is Sterling Heights) is closing permanently as of 6:00 P. M. today January 5th. I thought it might save some of you from making a trip there for nothing. Don’t bother going to look for deals. They have not marked anything on clearance at all. They must be transferring it all to a different store. I heard it was closing due to the land lord raising the rent and sewer problems, not because of lack of business. Just to let you know.
O says
That store was originally a Kroger then it was Savewell, then Foodland then Great Scott and became Krogers again after the Great Scott merger at least Krogers been there the longest
heather says

Question about the Maxwell House Catalina.
Is it buy 1 or buy 2 and receive a $1.00 on your next order?

The Healthy bread was not ringing up 1.00 at ANY of my Kroger stores. (3 different ones), it was ringing up 2.50 and HIGHER….. Bummer.

I saw $1 peelies on the 8 pk Pepsi (bottles) at Walmart last week. Makes them $1.49 for 8 ! Great price when my hubby will spend that on 1 bottle 🙁
Carrie L. says
Haha my husband too. Wish I would have had that coupon, I paid $2.49 for mine. But still got enough to last him a month, thankfully he only drinks one a day.
Amberly says
For those of you whose store will double up to $.99 (or possibly higher), I used my Colgate toothpaste and toothbrush coupons there and one of them completely doubles, even though they were on sale for $1.00. Sorry, I didn’t ask which one it was, so read the fine print and you should be able to find out. The cashier even called for help with it and the manager said that he just got a letter saying that they had to pay me! I had 4 coupons of each kind and ended up MAKING $1.73!
Joanne says

I’m new to couponing and was wondering about the Gillette Fusion Proglide deal. I have the $1 off 1, but was wondering if I could also use the B1G1 coupon. Will these 2 work together or do I need 3 products. I’m not sure. Thanks!
Barb says
Diana, I would read the fine print on the q but you should technically be able to use both since the BOGO q is for the 2nd one that you will get free and the 1.00/1 q will be for the one that you will be paying for.
Leslie K. says
Tried to print the – $1/2 Quaker coupon and evidently the campaign is over.
