* Macomb area Kroger stores currently double coupons up to $0.50. However, only 3 manufacturer’s coupons will be doubled per like items purchased.
View this week’s complete Kroger Ad.
KROGER COUPON POLICY
You can now view the Kroger coupon policy for Michigan online.
Please that Kroger’s coupon policy clearly states in each store ad: Limit 3 Manufacturer’s Coupons will be Doubled (up to $0.50) per Like Items Purchased.
NOTE on Printable Coupons: Some Kroger stores have been denying the redemption of any printable coupon over $1, so proceed with caution when using printable coupons. You can view/print the Kroger Print-at-Home Coupon Acceptance Policy here, which does not specifically restrict the use of printables over $1.
You WILL need a Kroger card to take advantage of these offers; sign up for one at the Customer Service desk if you do not have one!
KROGER SHOPPING TIPS
SELECT Kroger stores outside of Macomb (some stores in Saginaw and Genessee counties along with the Howell location – view a full list here) will double manufacturer’s coupons up to $1.00! This can mean a great savings (and some potential free items each week). If your travels happen to take you north, check the Kroger ad (search by zip code) for the areas you’re passing through. You just might want to pack your coupons, too!
Take your own bags to Kroger and you’ll receive a credit for $0.05 per bag used on your shopping order. You may need to remind your cashier to deduct your credit, however, as the computer will not do it automatically!
Load digital coupons to your Kroger card before you shop: visit Cellfire, P&G eSaver, Shortcuts and Kroger Digital Coupons. Each website lists the e-coupons that can be loaded onto your Kroger Card so that you can save even more! E-coupons are limited to one use per card and will NOT double. Kroger digital coupons may be combined with actual paper manufacturer coupons, according to this response from corporate (the other digital coupon sites restrict it according to policy):
Each store location has the option of using a store or manufacturer’s coupon in addition to a digital coupon – as long as the value of the coupon(s) used does not exceed the purchase price of the item(s).

I am not finding the Quaker Oatmeal coupon…?
I just found it… in the 1/2 RP 🙂
sorry, I am new…and I dont understand some of the lingo you guysare using…like when you said you found the coupon on the 1/2 rp…what does that mean, what is it referring to?
The numbers are the date from newspaper (so 1/2 is Jan 2nd), you can find the date of the coupon insert in tiny print along the left side of the front page of the insert (like the binding on a book). The initials stand for which coupon insert has the coupon (these are listed on the top right side of every Bargains to Bounty page):
PG = Procter & Gamble coupon insert
RP = RedPlum coupon insert
SS = SmartSource coupon insert
GM = General Mills insert
So 1/2 RP means the coupon is in the Red Plum insert that was in the Jan 2nd newspaper. Hope that helps!
I am not sure the old spice deoderant/soap deal will work. The coupon says the body wash must be of equal or lesser value. What do you think?
Worked for me today got the $1.69 deordant and free bodywash.
Thats what I was guessing but it won’t go for 29 cents as posted.
It may work without beeps, but I believe doing this intentionally is coupon fraud since the coupon is very clear that it is to be used for equal or lesser value, which in this case it is not.
We get enough great deals, I don’t think we should have to resort to things that compromise our integrity. The scenario should really be deleted from the blog since it is misuse of the coupon.
I agree, Jake, and it’s always my intention to only present ethical coupon use. My database didn’t show that restriction, so it was my oversight. However, the coupon’s restriction is beyond strange, as I believe the body wash is always more expensive than the deodorant.
OS does have a larger size and different flavor (for lack of a better word) deodorant that’s more expensive, I saw it at Kroger. If we were going to use this coupon legitimately, that’s the one we need to buy to comply with the coupon restrictions – and it would cost more.
If you buy 6 – Lean Cuisine Market Creations and get 1 more either entree or market creation for a total of 7, couldn’t you use 3 of the $1/2 market creations coupons for an even lower price.
Pay $2.17 for 5 = $10.85 – get 2 free
My store doubles so $6 off making 7 lean cuisines for $4.85 making them $0.69 each.
Is that right?
It would only be better if you store doubles $1 if I am correct.
it’s unlikely that you’ll be able to use coupons on more than 5 (since policy states that they won’t accept coupons on free items). But you can always ask at customer service!
GREAT – thanks for letting me know that!!! Thanks for all that you do!
I did the Old Spice deal yesterday and it didn’t work out so good for me – they took the value of the free item – $1.00 which I thought was kinda rotten of them and it seemed like they (two cashiers) were instructed to deduct it this way 🙁 I’m not a big fan of Kroger…..
They have the Olay Bar Soap (2 packs) regular price @ 2.99 – 2.00 (12/26p&g) = .99 (great soap)
I am curious to see if anybody else has done this deal, and how it worked out??
I did this deal last week.
Old Spice deoderant & Old Spice body wash and Herbal/Aussie shampoo & styler all for $1.75 OOP.
Did those 4 items (2 of which were free) count as 4 p & g items to get the $4 off?
There is also a $1.50 digital coupon for the Olay Bar Soap.
That’s really disappointing, especially since their policy states that they won’t accept a coupon on a “free” item!

(my little one doesnt like hot toothpaste)
i think the maruchan yakisoba noodles are still $1-.50/1 paper

I didnt try the sinex but there is $4 paper or $4 digital and its spray is priced
less than $8.
Thanks! I see Old Spice Deodorant listed as $2.29 ($1.29 after $4 P&G discount) in the ad. How is the $0.69 variety different?
I haven’t used digital coupons in a long time, can you use a paper coupon too?
Yup. I used an ecoupon and paper coupon for the Olay body soap 5.49 – 4.50(all coupons)= 99c paid
In the Flint area there is yoplait greek yougurt on sale for 1.oo, there is a 60/2 coupon, my store doubles. bag of malt o meal cereal on sale for 2.50 this Sundays paper was $2.00/2 coupon
Thanks! I got two huge bags of malt o meal cereal for $3.
I can’t seem to find the Morningstar Farms coupon…help 🙂
I’ve been searching for it to and can’t find it.
Technically you are not supposed to use a paper coupon and a digital coupon.
some stores or cashiers pay more attention to this than others, some argue that
if the computer accepts it, oh well.
extra laundry detergent is 1.99 thru 1/30 and the .50 paper exp 1/31
yakisoba noodles are $1 thru 1/30, .50/1 paper=free
olay 2 bar soap is 2.99 reg price-$2 paper or 1.50 digital

for those of you in $1 double land roman meal bread is usually
reg price 1.99 coupons.com zip 22222 has .75/1
Krusteaz pancake mix is on sale for 1.99. With the .50/1 coupon a box is only .99!
I went to my Kroger tonight (northern IN) and was excited to find Annie’s Natural Mac and Cheese on sale 4/$1!!!! They have a “new” type. It has traditional macaroni and a “milder” cheese flavor. It’s an amazing price. The other types are $1.39 a box.
My Kroger also has smaller boxes of Wholly Guacamole 2/$5. Makes it $0.50 after the printable coupon!
The Old Spice deal can actually work out to be free! On the same page as the BOGO deo/wash coupon there’s a coupon for $1/2 deo. I’m not sure what Kroger’s official policy is about overage but it seems like the registers allow it (or have the amount adjusted down if need be).
Did this twice with a total of 4 deodorants and 4 body washes tonight, used 4 of the BOGO coupons and 2 of the deo coupons and they all went through fine (young cashier actually deducted regular price of 3.85 for each body wash). HTH!
I have 2 questions regarding the $4 P&G savings when you buy four participating items: (1) Will they give you more than one $4 savings per transaction or do you have to do separate transactions for every four items you buy in order to receive the $4 off? (2) Do you then need to purchase at least $4 in other products along with the P&G participating items (since the $4 is deducted from the non-P&G products)? I appreciate anyone’s experience with this. Thanks!
I caught the same wording ($4 off non-P&G products) and was wondering that myself. I had at least $4 of other products when I checked out, so I didn’t worry about it.
There are some great $1 coupons in the P&G booklet that came in the mail after submitting $50 of P&G purchases that make this deal at Kroger even better. The beautiful thing with these $4 off your order (or the $5 savings events when they run them) is that the $4 comes off your total bill, not $1 off each individual item . . . so you can get some coupon overages. For example, Secret deo is (was?) $2.29, or $1.29 after the “$1 discount”. With a $1 coupon at a store that doubles $1s, you get the full $2 off the item ($2.29 regular price), actually creating a $0.71 overage. The same would be true of the Crest toothpaste (also $1 coupon in that booklet).
In regards to the more that one $4 off 4 deal… I was able to get 4 in one transaction… but asked the cashier first and she said there was no limit.
My cashier at Krogers said there was a limit of 12 so I am thinking it might vary at other stores.
Check the price on the Charmin if you plan on doing that deal. The listed price of 6.99 in the ad is AFTER the $1 off per item, so it will technically be $3.99 total. Still, a pretty good price for a picky wife. :p
there is nice solid Old Spice deodarant (the kind I bought today for the shelters) and it was $1.69
Also, what Emily said is not right what Kroger did and she should have talked to Mgmt. The free item is not a reduced price it is the price of the item so if the discounted P&G promo price for the Aussie was say $1.99 that should have been the price not shorted on her.
other $4 off 4 deals
Duracell Coppertop Batteries 8ct $4.99
-$2.00 (PG mailer) and -$1.00 kroger ecpn (exp 1/29)

Tampax Pearl 40 ct.
-$2.00 (PG 12/26; exp 1/29) and -$2.00 Kroger ecpn
$1.99
Why can I not find this 12/26 PG flyer? Was it for January? I only have the Dec P&G flyer and the coupons all expired on 12/31
Did you buy/pick up newspapers that week? The 19th and 26th originally had no inserts scheduled, but the P&G was announced a week or two before the 26th paper (similar to the Thanksgiving weekend P&G insert). HTH
Not all the newspapers had them… I bought 6 papers and only the det news had them… then a week later bought what I thought was the 1/2 oakland press and it was the 12/26 paper with the PG flyer.
I subscribe to the Free Press, but didn’t get it. I asked my Dad and he didn’t get it in his paper either. Boo!
the bestlife and the blistex are for Meijer. carmex is $1 at Kroger and
.99 at Meijer. The only old spice deodorant the Jackson Kroger has
as participating in the pg deal is .69 after discount.
Looks like Fage pulled their coupon both on their website and on their Facebook page. Lame. 🙁
To do the Old Spice P &G deal, if I buy 2 Old Spice deorderants and get 2 Old Spice body washes for free with that coupon, then do those 2 free ones go towards the 4 P & G or does that only count as 2? Also I noticed someone used a $1 off 2 deorderants to go with that deal but I can’t stack 2 manufacturers coupons together right?
the yoplus, fiber one and delights are meijer also.
I did the old spice $1/2 paper and $1/2 digital by themselves which makes
them both free if you get .69 old spice (after discount).
I did not do above order with buy deodorant get a free body wash coupon.
Yes, if you buy 2 deodorants and 2 body washes and use 2 bogo coupons
it counts as 4 items. (This coupon is if cashier allows because it says
of equal or lesser value)
You can get (print) $3 off any Kashi cereal coupon from Recycle Bank (I found out about this site from Hip2Save – search her site for easy ways to earn points.) Plus, I just got a $3 off Kashi GoLean Crisp cereal in the free sample I requested a while back (plus three $1 qs). My Kroger took the IP without question, which really surprised me. (But they rejected my VitaminWater B1G1 IPs, go figure.) This really sweetens the deal for getting free milk!
