This week, I’ll be taking a break from Kroger deals as part of my “maternity leave.” Nicole from Coley’s Qs has provided a great matchup list for the continuing Mega Event at Kroger this week – you’ll find her additional deals here, and many of them are cheap or free! Below I’ve listed the deals that continue from last week.
These Kroger deal matchups have been created using the Kroger store ad for the Metro Detroit area, where coupons double up to $0.50 (limit 3 identical coupons per order). I’ve listed only what I consider to be the best deals for your money this week. Please let me know if you see others worthy of making the list – I’ll continue to update the matchups throughout the week!

* Macomb area Kroger stores currently double coupons up to $0.50. However, only 3 manufacturer’s coupons will be doubled per like items purchased.

KROGER COUPON POLICY
You can now view the Kroger coupon policy for Michigan online.
Please that Kroger’s coupon policy clearly states in each store ad: Limit 3 Manufacturer’s Coupons will be Doubled (up to $0.50) per Like Items Purchased.
NOTE on Printable Coupons: Some Kroger stores have been denying the redemption of any printable coupon over $1, so proceed with caution when using printable coupons. You can view/print the Kroger Print-at-Home Coupon Acceptance Policy here, which does not specifically restrict the use of printables over $1.
You WILL need a Kroger card to take advantage of these offers; sign up for one at the Customer Service desk if you do not have one!
KROGER CATALINA PROMOTIONS
Buy 2 Dannon Dan-o-nino 6-packs in one transaction, get a $1.00 checkout coupon valid on your next order. Buy 3 get $1.50; buy 4 or more get $2.00. (11/1-11/28). Thanks, Jenesa!
KROGER SHOPPING TIPS
SELECT Kroger stores outside of Macomb (some stores in Saginaw and Genessee counties along with the Howell location – view a full list here) will double manufacturer’s coupons up to $1.00! This can mean a great savings (and some potential free items each week). If your travels happen to take you north, check the Kroger ad (search by zip code) for the areas you’re passing through. You just might want to pack your coupons, too!
Take your own bags to Kroger and you’ll receive a credit for $0.05 per bag used on your shopping order. You may need to remind your cashier to deduct your credit, however, as the computer will not do it automatically!
Load digital coupons to your Kroger card before you shop: visit Cellfire, P&G eSaver, Shortcuts and Kroger Digital Coupons. Each website lists the e-coupons that can be loaded onto your Kroger Card so that you can save even more! E-coupons are limited to one use per card and will NOT double. Kroger digital coupons may be combined with actual paper manufacturer coupons, according to this response from corporate (the other digital coupon sites restrict it according to policy):
Each store location has the option of using a store or manufacturer’s coupon in addition to a digital coupon – as long as the value of the coupon(s) used does not exceed the purchase price of the item(s).

I’m kind of glad Krogers sales tend to span 2 weeks because I never seem to make it there the first week 🙂
amy says
no more idahoan potatoes coupons 🙁
Marie says
Smartsource.com has a 40 cent coupon for the Idahoan potatoes. Facebook coupon is gone.

kroger – land o lakes butter on sale $2.99 with mega event savings – $0.50 and couple it with a coupons.com $0.50 off butter coupon which doubles, so you are only spending $1.50 for butter this week as long as you have other items to buy in the mega 10 sale.
KATHY says
When I got home, I noticed the gravy I picked up has $1/2 on the back of the label….if you don’t mind stockpiling them w/out label, it makes them super cheap.
Carisa says
If you try to load coupons directly to your kroger card and it fails, take the time to let tech support know about the issue. Kroger mailed me 16 coupons the next day based on purchase I have made in the past using my Kroger card. Some of the coupons were for free items.
Louann says
Some people get those coupon packets every few months even without complaining about an issue. So far I haven’t heard how they choose who gets them and who doesn’t.
Becky says
I have heard that if you do not get a coupon mailer, you should get a new Kroger Plus Card. I tried that beginning of this month, and wonders never cease, coupons showed up 1 week later! Never received any with old card, which I’ve had for 2 years. Try it! But wait until the points restart at beginning of the month. That way you don’t lose any you’ve accumulated. Hope this helps.
Dawn Reeves says
I am through with Krogers! They wouldn’t accept my $1.00/4 coupons for Cream of Chicken soup OR my .40/1 Idahoan potatoes because that would make them too cheap! I am calling corporate Monday! This is their policy for IP coupons. I don’t understand what the difference is if it is an IP or out of the paper coupon and isn’t that the purpose of a coupon?? To get things cheap or free? I told the lady to take the items off that I would go to Meijer this coming week and get my soup as they will accept the IP’s and if fact will take Krogers as well!
Nanette says
What an awful experience! Something like that happened to me at Target and now I don’t shop there. Hope your day gets better.
leann says
Same thing happened to me at Target and Rite Aid and I don’t shop at either any more. Just not worth the headache when even the manager does not understand that coupons are not a crime. I stick with Meijers where they treat me wonderful.
