KROGER COUPON POLICY

You can now view the Kroger coupon policy for Michigan online.
Please that Kroger’s coupon policy clearly states in each store ad: Limit 3 Manufacturer’s Coupons will be Doubled (up to $0.50) per Like Items Purchased.

NOTE on Printable Coupons: Some Kroger stores have been denying the redemption of any printable coupon over $1, so proceed with caution when using printable coupons. You can view/print the Kroger Print-at-Home Coupon Acceptance Policy here, which does not specifically restrict the use of printables over $1.

You WILL need a Kroger card to take advantage of these offers; sign up for one at the Customer Service desk if you do not have one!

KROGER CATALINA PROMOTIONS

Buy 2 Dannon Dan-o-nino 6-packs in one transaction, get a $1.00 checkout coupon valid on your next order. Buy 3 get $1.50; buy 4 or more get $2.00. (11/1-11/28). Thanks, Jenesa!

KROGER SHOPPING TIPS

SELECT Kroger stores outside of Macomb (some stores in Saginaw and Genessee counties along with the Howell location – view a full list here) will double manufacturer’s coupons up to $1.00! This can mean a great savings (and some potential free items each week). If your travels happen to take you north, check the Kroger ad (search by zip code) for the areas you’re passing through. You just might want to pack your coupons, too!

Take your own bags to Kroger and you’ll receive a credit for $0.05 per bag used on your shopping order. You may need to remind your cashier to deduct your credit, however, as the computer will not do it automatically!

Load digital coupons to your Kroger card before you shop: visit Cellfire, P&G eSaver, Shortcuts and Kroger Digital Coupons. Each website lists the e-coupons that can be loaded onto your Kroger Card so that you can save even more! E-coupons are limited to one use per card and will NOT double. Kroger digital coupons may be combined with actual paper manufacturer coupons, according to this response from corporate (the other digital coupon sites restrict it according to policy):

Each store location has the option of using a store or manufacturer’s coupon in addition to a digital coupon – as long as the value of the coupon(s) used does not exceed the purchase price of the item(s).

This post is a proud part of Be Centsable’s Grocery Gathering. Visit the Grocery Gathering for a HUGE free listing of national and local store matchups from around the country, including CVS, Rite Aid, Walgreens, Target, Walmart and more!

I live in Lansing and my Kroger ad has turkey for 49c/lb with $10 additional purchase. I wonder why there is such a difference between Detroit and Lansing. Most of the time the matchups work great, but occationally items are priced differently in detroit area ads and Lansing area ads. Regardless… thanks so much for all the work you do to help save me (and everyone else) some money!

Wanna hear something interesting? The Kroger less than a mile away from my house is advertising $0.29/lb. The Kroger 2 miles from my house is advertising $0.49/lb. So it’s not just the difference between Detroit area and others – it’s within the same neighborhood. I think they like to keep things confusing.

My Kroger in Owosso Mi says that I cannot combine manufacturors and e coupons. Has anyone else gone through that at their Kroger?

    • Lucy A says

      November 16, 2010 at 1:45 PM

I believe that this is printed in the Kroger policy somewhere. However, it is usually up to the cashier at my Kroger to catch them. I have used both sometimes when the cashier has not caught it, and I did not remember that I had an e-coupon attached to the card. Sometimes you get lucky 🙂

    November 16, 2010 at 10:02 AM

Vickie, it depends on where you got your e-coupons. If they are from the Kroger site, they are store coupons. If they are from cellfire or shortcuts, they are manufacturer coupons (from what I’ve read), so you are only able to use the e-coupons downloaded from the Kroger site with a manufacturer coupon.

About the turkeys at $.0.29 and $0.49 I called Kroger if there is a Meijer (spend $20 and get a turkey for $6 which is about 30 cents a pound) near by or a VG’s with the same sale they will compete with them. Just call around to the stores and ask what the price is. You’ll find a lot of them are $0.29# when you spend $20

  7. Carol says

    November 16, 2010 at 2:42 PM

Ok I cannot find the Sarah Lee printable coupon anywhere…the link posted here on the Kroger matchups, Red Plum Exclusives site or Sarah Lee site. Ive googled it for the past hour. Any help out there please???

    • Jolyn says

      November 16, 2010 at 4:02 PM

It may be gone by now. I can’t find it either. Not surprising, since so many stores have Sara Lee on sale. I’m sure the print quota was met. Sorry! I’ll update.

There’s a pretty good deal for those of us on double dollar land on the General Mills/Pillsbury promotion!
Buy 2 Pillsbury Simply Cookie Dough and 2 Regular Pillsbury Cookie Dough. Get 2 free gallons of milk when you buy 4 participating items.
Use 2-.55 off Simply Cookie Dough and 1-1.00/2 Regular Cookie Dough.
Pay 4.96 OOP for 4 cookie dough and 2 gallons of milk.
Also to sweeten the deal, when you buy 4 cookie dough, there is a 1.00 Cat, and in dollar double land, the Cat doubles! (at least at my Kroger it does!!)
Total ends up being 2.96 🙂

    • Jolyn says

      November 16, 2010 at 3:59 PM

No kidding! I’ve NEVER seen/heard of a Cat doubling. Ever!

      • Amanda M says

        November 16, 2010 at 5:12 PM

They do at our store if they are 1.00 or under because the bar code starts with a “5” 🙂

        • Chris says

          November 18, 2010 at 9:30 PM

I can confirm that this is the case.

  9. Diana says

    November 16, 2010 at 5:26 PM

The Clorox cata only printed once ($1.50) even though I bought 2 Clorox bleaches and @ Clorox wipes – got refund at service desk – I guess you’ll have to ring up two separate orders. I have to say, Kroger is my least favorite store – their deals aren’t great and they always give me a hard time about any coupons….

That $0.50/1 Idahoan coupon in the 11-14 SS is valid on the large 13 oz pouches only, not the smaller 4 oz pouches that are on sale.
