If you haven’t signed up for Groupon yet (it’s free to register), you may want to now! It’s FREE to register and there’s no obligation for you to participate in any future offers! Watch the video HERE to learn what its all about! Some helpful explanation (directly from today’s Groupon Deal Alert):
If you want to get the deal, just click BUY before the offer ends. If the minimum number of people sign up, you’ll get a printable gift certificate in your inbox the next morning that you can use whenever you want (well, at least until the deal expires). If not enough people join, no one gets the deal (and you won’t be charged), so invite your friends to make sure you get the discount!
It’s a win-win situation, since you get a great deal AND the company benefits from your business! Another nice feature: Groupon offers can be gifted to others (since you pay via credit card when you agree to an offer)! You can print the Groupon certificate directly from your computer (to include in a card, etc.) or send it via email as a gift for the recipient to print.

We were there last year, and I can personally vouch for good beer and good food. My hubby is a self-proclaimed “beer snob”. I don’t remember what we had, but one of the things we ate was about the best that we’ve ever had, I think it might’ve been one of the soups.
Actually, this is probably currently one of the best restaurants in the area. The chicken places seem to have gone downhill.
Jolyn says
I agree! Since I was raised in the area, I don’t do the “touristy” restaurants, but we’ve always enjoyed our meals at the Brewery. Haven’t been disappointed yet.

How cool! DH and I haven’t had a date night since before the baby was born last June. This would be fun… He likes beer, I like food 😛

We have never been to the Brewery so I’m curious for those that have – we always go up to Frankenmuth as a family while I know the kids won’t be having any beer ;0) is the envioronment ok for them to eat and possibly take the tour while the adults get the samplers?
Jolyn says
We’ve taken our kids before and they’ve enjoyed it, too. It’s family-friendly from what I remember. All of Frankenmuth seems to understand how to cater to tourists as families, so I wouldn’t be too worried.
Becky says
Ditto on the family-friendly. It’s nicer than what you think of as a typical “pub”. When we went last year we had our then-8-month old son in tow.
An I remember now, I think it was actually the chili that we loved.
Jamie says
Thanks – looks like we will be stopping there for a family outing soon!

Does anyone know if you can use the ONE coupon towards two sandwiches? Or do you think it needs to be used on just one meal? We like their Reubens.
Jolyn says
Absolutely! One coupon should cover 2 sandwiches!

Making special trip to Frankenmuth Brewery from Clarkston. I am looking forward to trying the food and beer after reading the reviews. This is the first Groupon coupon I’ve felt compelled to buy…
