Meijer: Nabisco 100 Calorie Packs NOW a $2.00 MONEYMAKER!

This post may contain affiliate links. Read my full disclosure policy.

Two different Catalina (checkout coupon) promotions combine with an unexpected sale for quite a nice deal at Meijer this week! Thanks to michiganmommyof3 on AFC for sharing!

UPDATE: A new Buy One, Get One printable coupon on Facebook (while it lasts) continues to make this a good deal through May 8!

$2.00 Nabisco 100 Calorie Packs, 3.7 oz (5-6 ct) and up
-NEW B1G1 printable coupon (when you “like” Nabisco 100 Calorie” on Facebook)
$4.00 for 4 boxes when you use 2 coupons – then receive TWO $3.00 checkout coupons ($2 MONEYMAKER!)

CATALINA OFFER #1:
Buy 3 or more of the following in a single transaction: Nabisco 100 Calorie Packs (5-12 ct), South Beach Living bars, Kraft 100 Calorie Pack Cheese Bites (5 ct), Jell-O Pudding & Gelatin Snacks (6 ct), Breakstone’s Cottage Cheese (4 ct), or Breakstone’s Cottage Doubles, get a $3.00 checkout coupon valid on your next order (4/11-5/15).

CATALINA OFFER #2:
Buy 2 Nabisco 100 Calorie Packs (3.7 oz or larger) in one transaction, get a $1.00 checkout coupon valid on your next order. Buy 3, get $2.00; Buy 4 or more, get $3.00. (4/23-5/16)

Best Scenario WITHOUT COUPONS:

Buy 3 Nabisco 100 Calorie Packs in one transaction (no more, no less) at $2.00 each.
At checkout, you should receive one $3.00 checkout coupon AND one $2.00 checkout coupon valid on your next order.
You’ll pay $6.00 and get $5.00 to spend on your next Meijer order.
Final cost: $1.00 for 3 boxes ($0.33 each!)

IMPORTANT NOTES:

  • Look for $1.00/2 peel-off coupons on the packages!
  • The $3.00 Catalina coupon will NOT roll. Do NOT use it to pay for another group of three 100 Calorie Packs or a new Catalina coupon will NOT print. (Note that it is the SAME OFFER as Breakstone’s Cottage Doubles and Kraft 100 Calorie Cheese Bites, so do not buy these items in the same transaction).
  • The $2.00 Kraft Catalina coupon has been reported to roll. You may use it to buy another group of three 100 Calorie packs and you should receive another $2.00 checkout coupon on that order.
  • You may purchase the 100 Calorie Packs in other amounts, but I’ve shown you the best possible deal. Buy 4 at $8.00 and get $6.00 back in coupons ($0.50 each).
  • These are great to pack in lunches or as snacks while traveling!

NOTE: If your Catalina doesn’t print as expected, please read this post for tips on what you can do.

Phew! I banked on you being right last night put my neck out to prove it! Thank goodness you were!! Did the Nabisco deal, but the CAT machine jammed and didn’t print anything. The cashier tried to tell me I only qualified for one $3 CAT. I told her also a $2 and she got huffy and denied said, no way I could get 2 CAT’s…blah blah. So I said fine, then paid and walked around and got another 3 boxes and went to a different register-it was dead in there, and the original cashier saw me and came over and stood at the register with her hands crossed-so ready to be right….I was saying a few silent prayers that this DID work and I didn’t look like a fool….AND IT DID!!! It printed a $2 CAT first, then the $3 came next….She was so crabby saying they can’t possibly know all the deals etc and I said if they’re running a promo, they should be informed and have a master list (even of the unadvertised ones). Anyway, she hand wrote me an additional $2 CAT for the one that didn’t print on my earlier transaction……Thanks Jolyn!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Also did the Shout, but they were out of it, so they let me substitute Zout instead (which I actually like better!!)

    • kristen says

      April 29, 2010 at 3:43 PM

@Kim, I have emailed meijer to say they should have a master list at the service desk!

Everyone should email them because apparently they haven’t listened to me.

      • emily says

        May 9, 2010 at 11:01 PM

        @kristen,

i work for meijer as a cashier, and the reason we don’t have a master list is because the company doesn’t want EVERYONE doing these deals. if everyone knew about them, we would get to them before the customers, and that means more rain checks, meaning more hassle for you, and us.

granted, some cashiers are less snobby. just ignore them. 🙂

This site amazes me, I could never save as much money at meijer without your help Jolyn! Thank you for all the information regarding catalina promotions, since they aren’t always advertised it makes it harder to figure these sales on your own. It was a wake-up call when your site was down and I had to do most of the work on my own matching up sales. My family relies on this site and we are grateful for all your hard work!

Meijer Center Road store had peelies on the 100 cal packs of cookies. $1/2, this was on Saturday.

  4. Molly says

    April 26, 2010 at 1:38 PM

peelies were there today as well in Okemos, MI.

    • Summer says

      April 27, 2010 at 4:22 PM

@Molly, lots of peelies left at Okemos this afternoon too! However, the cashier at the U-Scan stood and watched over my shoulder after the second transaction (I did 3), proceeded to take all the coupons out of the machine, and question if I was couponing correctly. Why can’t they just accept that I’m properly using coupons to get a good deal??

  5. Karen says

    April 26, 2010 at 2:03 PM

This deal worked like a charm

    THANK YOU!

(A hex on the person who ripped off the peelie without purchasing one of the boxes of cookies I ended up with….very tacky)

  6. Debra says

    April 26, 2010 at 3:37 PM

This deal worked great for me, too, until I was in a hurry and forgot to grab my catalinas! Arghhh! But they did print!

  7. Dani says

    April 26, 2010 at 3:46 PM

I have a 3.00 catalina from a different promotion, does anyone know if I can use it on this purchase? Its from the General Mills promotion last week.

    • Jolyn says

      April 26, 2010 at 4:16 PM

Yes, you can use that Catalina since it’s from a different offer – it won’t affect the promotions you’re using with this Nabisco deal.

  8. Diana says

    April 26, 2010 at 6:02 PM

There is a Save $1 wyb ANY 2 boxes of Nabisco cookies or crackers (4.0oz – 28.0oz) coupon in the “$55 Nabisco coupon booklet” we got some time last year?? I was wondering if that would work on this Nabisco 100 calorie packs? Anyone knows?

    • Jolyn says

      April 26, 2010 at 7:12 PM

YES! I’d forgotten about that coupon! While the April and May coupons (for $1.00 off ANY 2 Nabisco Cookies or Crackers, 4-28 oz) don’t show the 100 Calorie Packs, the June coupon DOES – and the wording is the same on all three coupons. They would be valid for this deal!

      • Stacey says

        April 26, 2010 at 9:13 PM

        @Jolyn,

This coupon DOES work on 100 cal packs (I used mine on a prior deal). But, as a heads-up — since the coupons read “only valid in the month of XX,” they do beep at the register with the error message “coupon start date not reached yet” (or something like that). YMMV if the cashier overrides it or not…

        • Renea says

          April 29, 2010 at 10:31 PM

          @Stacey,
          I used both the
April and May coupons. I did two orders, of 4 boxes each. Used one peal coupon and one Meijer coupon and one Nabisco in each order, I got two $3 print outs in each order. Made $2 and got 8 boxes of snacks free!

  9. Jamie says

    April 26, 2010 at 7:56 PM

If you managed to pick-up (and keep) the Nabisco Back-To-School savings booklet (featured at Meijer last fall), there are three remaining $1/2 Nabisco snack coupons (exp. 4/30, 5/31 and 6/30) eligible for this deal.

  10. K says

    April 26, 2010 at 9:15 PM

RE these coupons from the booklet ^^^^^^^^^^^

I used these today……but when they scanned it said something like “not valid for this date”.
The coupons (as I recall) are only meant to be used in certain months. There is NO wording to this effect on the coupon…..there is only the expiration date.
A manager was called over and they did end up taking the coupons as they didn’t know why they wouldn’t scan….and frankly I didn’t either….until I remembered that the booklet was like a calendar. I had long ago torn it apart and filed the coupons separately.

    • Stacey says

      April 27, 2010 at 11:10 AM

      @K,
The wording is on the back of the coupon. 😉

      • K says

        April 27, 2010 at 11:22 AM

        @Stacey,

        @Stacey

Ugh! I hate using coupons wrong.

3 of us looked and didn’t see anything.

        (sorry Meijer 🙁 )

  11. Becky says

    April 26, 2010 at 10:23 PM

Hi. I tried this deal, and used the Meijer Lunchbx coupon, total was $5.00. The counts on the box were right and everything now that I check back to see the details again, but my catalinas did not print. The machine was beeping and a flashing green light was going, but nothing came out. Can I get credit for this somehow? I’m thinking about trying this again first thing tomorrow and returning the others… Help anyone?

    • Jolyn says

      April 26, 2010 at 10:26 PM

Unfortunately, the blinking light indicates a problem with the Catalina machine – it was likely jammed or out of paper or ink. A solid green light on the machine would indicate that it’s functioning properly. You can try calling Catalina Marketing at 1-888-8COUPON and explain the problem. Hopefully they’ll be able to help.

  12. Breanne says

    April 27, 2010 at 9:16 AM

Please help me as I seem to be dumb: in the post it says:

    “HERE’S the SCOOP:

Buy 3 Nabisco 100 Calorie Packs in one transaction (no more, no less) at $2.00 each.
At checkout, you should receive one $3.00 checkout coupon AND one $2.00 checkout coupon valid on your next order.
You’ll pay $6.00 and get $5.00 to spend on your next Meijer order.
Final cost: $1.00 for 3 boxes ($0.33 each!)”

Then later you say: “You may purchase the 100 Calorie Packs in other amounts, but I’ve shown you the best possible deal. Buy 4 at $8.00 and get $6.00 back in coupons ($0.50 each).”

How is it possible to get one $3.00 checkout coupon AND one $2.00 checkout coupon valid on your next order when buying 3?? I’m so confused.

    • Breanne says

      April 27, 2010 at 9:18 AM

[email protected]@ I’m sorry, I just re-read it for the 32 time. I see they are 2 different promotions. SORRY!! Rough morning.

  13. Amber says

    No peelies in Ann Arbor:(

    Still a great deal though!

Total cost for 1 lunch- (-.18 cents)

    YEAH!!!

  15. Amy says

    April 27, 2010 at 3:20 PM

I purchased these at the Carpenter store in Ann Arbor and my Catalina machine was jammed as well. Thankfully the cashier sent me up to the customer service desk and the woman believed me when I told her I should have received a $3 coupon and a $2 coupon. They gave me a $5.00 bill right there at the customer service desk. I don’t often sing Meijer’s praises but I was impressed!!

  16. Katie says

    April 28, 2010 at 2:49 PM

I was only able to get the $2 cat. not the $3? Should I call meijer and say something or should I contact the catalina company? What would you do? :o)

    • Jolyn says

      April 28, 2010 at 2:56 PM

Is it possible that you may have done something to restrict the $3.00 Catalina from printing – like redeeming a $3.00 Catalina in the same order? If the $2.00 printed, the $3.00 should have as well. You can try to take it up with Meijer or with Catalina Mktg at 1-888-8COUPON.

      • Katie says

        April 29, 2010 at 9:59 AM

        @Jolyn,

Yup, Realized later after getting home that it really doesn’t role 🙂 Oh well makes me keep a closer eye on that type of thing. I’m still planning on getting more though! They are soooo good!

BTW the french mint ones are awesome! 🙂

  17. Sheryl W says

    April 28, 2010 at 2:51 PM

Drat! Neither printed. I tried to do the Breakstones in a different transaction and nothing there, either. I sent an email to Catalina, so I’m counting on them to take care of it. I probably would have done the deal twice, too!

    • Jolyn says

      April 28, 2010 at 2:57 PM

I tested it twice this morning and both checkout coupons printed for me. Did anything at all print from your Catalina machine? If the light was blinking it could have been out of order and unable to print anything for you…

    • Sheryl W says

      April 29, 2010 at 4:37 PM

I got an email from Catalina saying no to the 2. I sent them the email including the information above, so we’ll see. I want to go and try again, just for the deal. Maybe later!

      • Chris says

        May 3, 2010 at 1:09 PM

@Sheryl W, what email address are you using? When I go to Catalinas’ website, it says for consumers to call.

  18. Frugal Deal Finder says

The Meijer in Southfield on Telegraph Rd. does not have peelies. If any of you happen to find some will you please, pretty please let all of us readers know. Thanks!

    • Angela says

The store in Allen Park has them.

  19. Carrie says

    May 2, 2010 at 9:04 PM

I recently picked up coupons from Hardings (Spartan) for $2 off Nabsico crackers wyb 12 pk (or any other) Coke and also $1.50 off milk wyb Nabisco cookies. I was already buying 2 of the 24 pks of coke on sale this week and 2 gals of milk anyway. I made sure to get two cracker varieties and two cookie varieties.

  20. Frugal Deal Finder says

    May 3, 2010 at 4:56 PM

Angela, Thanks for the information regarding Allen Park Meijers. Good looking out.

  21. Summer says

    May 5, 2010 at 2:55 PM

If anyone printed yesterday’s facebook coupons for a free package of oreo or chips ahoy cookies with the purchase of a gallon of milk and another package or oreo/chips ahoy, they work great with this promotion. I did the following twice:

    2 gallons of milk ($3.54) + four 100-calorie packs ($8)
Minus two free packages, using 2 coupons (-$4)
OOP $7.54, and $6 back in catalinas

  22. Candace says

    May 6, 2010 at 5:43 PM

If you “Like” Nabisco 100 Calorie Packs on Facebook, you’ll be able to print a coupon for B1G1 100 Calorie Packs! Ends up making this a money maker when you buy 4. 🙂

  24. Jenny says

Sweet! I am on my way there this morning. Thanks so much!

  25. Rachel says

    May 7, 2010 at 9:51 AM

Unless my math is totally off, I think the best deal here is still 2 transactions of 3 boxes each.

    4 boxes @ $2 each = $8
    use 2 B1G1 coupons = spend $4 oop
    get a $3 catalina and a $3 catalina = $2 moneymaker & 4 boxes of snacks

    3 boxes @ $2 each = $6
    use a B1G1 coupon = spend $4 oop
    get a $3 catalina and a $2 catalina = $1 moneymaker
Do this twice and you have a $2 moneymaker and 6 boxes of snacks

    • Jamie says

      May 7, 2010 at 3:05 PM

I was doing the same math and figuring 2 transactions of 3 boxes was the best way to go also. Glad to see someone else agrees!

      • Jolyn says

        May 7, 2010 at 4:19 PM

It’s really your preference. I was looking at the amount of money you’ll make per box. If your goal is to get more boxes for the same price, stick to 3 per order.

  26. LeeAnn says

    May 7, 2010 at 12:31 PM

I only got one $3.00 off catalina. Maybe it’s only good in the Detroit area? I was in Mt Pleasant.

    • Jolyn says

      May 7, 2010 at 1:20 PM

It’s good chainwide. However, if you purchased any other items (Breakstone’s, Kraft, etc) that were included in the offer – OR redeemed the same $3.00 Catalina when paying for the order, a new $3.00 coupon will not print.

      • LeeAnn says

        May 7, 2010 at 3:28 PM

        @Jolyn,
These were the only items in the transaction. I did pay for them with last week’s Kellog’s catalina for $2.00. Would that affect it? Should I call Catalina?

        • Jolyn says

          May 7, 2010 at 4:12 PM

The Kellogg’s Catalina shouldn’t have affected anything. Give Catalina a call.

  27. Nikki says

    May 7, 2010 at 1:02 PM

I got the new facebook coupons… woohoo!

I think it is actually a better deal to do two transactions.. it will cost you a little more out of pocket, and its still a $2 moneymaker, but you get 6 boxes instead of 4.

    Scenario 1:
    Buy 3 boxes of 100 calorie packs = $6
    -$2 (1 B1G1F Coupon)
    = Pay $4; Get back 1 $3 Cat and 1 $2 Cat => $1 MM
Repeat above transaction (you can roll the $2 Cat on this one if you want, but NOT the $3 one!)
    Total $8 OOP, $10 Cats = $2MM on 6 boxes of 100 cal packs

    Scenario 2: (which you posted)
    Buy 4 boxes of 100 calorie packs = $8
    -$4 (2 B1G1F Coupons)
    =Pay $4; Get back 1 $3 Cat and 1 $3 Cat =>2 MM
    Total $4 OOP, $6 Cats = $2MM on 4 boxes of 100 cal packs

  28. Denise says

    May 7, 2010 at 1:19 PM

If I have 2 BOGO coupons, I think it’s a better deal to do 2 transactions with 3 boxes each:

    3 boxes for $6
    – $2 BOGO coupon
    pay $4
    Get $3 and $2 back so a $1 MM.
Repeat. It’s still a $2 MM, like given above, but now I have 6 boxes instead of only 4.

  29. Trisha says

    May 7, 2010 at 3:08 PM

Has anyone tried any of the Nabisco 100 Calorie packs? If so, which ones are best? Some of them don’t look very yummy. . .

    • Jolyn says

      May 7, 2010 at 4:16 PM

The chocolate and yogurt-covered pretzels and mint fudge petites get good reviews. Oreo mini cakesters, Lorna Doones and Honey Maid Grahams also are favorites in our house.

  30. Shannon says

    May 7, 2010 at 10:18 PM

The mint fudge petites are fabulous! The regular fudge petites, lorna doone’s, and yogurt pretzels are favorites here too.

I don’t care for the oreo crisps, chips ahoy, or the ritz snack mix.
