I found some $1/2 Oscar Mayer Deli Fresh Meat or Kraft Deli Fresh Cheese Meijer Coupons on some packages of cheese last Sunday – makes the Lunchmeat free!

That’s a Meijer store coupon? Wow! Good find!

Be careful of the Lunchbox coupons, limit one coupon per transaction! Just a heads up 🙂

@stacy, thank you! I had forgotten that those said that!

      @stacy,
Lunch Box…meaing the ones handed out or Mealbox from their website???

      • Jolyn says

        April 21, 2010 at 9:09 PM

Sorry, that should have been LunchSpot, the coupons handed out in stores. Losing my marbles!

    • Molly says

      April 21, 2010 at 10:46 PM

Can I have more than 1 if they are for 2 different things? Cause I have one for the lunch meat and one for the fudge cremes, can they both be used in one transaction? (I sure hope so!)

      • stacy says

        April 22, 2010 at 8:34 AM

As long as they are for different items it should be fine. You can have as many MF coupons (per items indicated) and MMB coupons, it’s just the LunchSpot coupons that are limit one per transaction. You can use different LunchSpot coupons in one transaction just not multiples of the same one.

@ Jenna. arm and hammer is regularly $5.19. I LOVE the smell and it is my favorite.
Does anyone know if we use the coupons for the free caprisuns from the Kraft mac n cheese…can we also throw in the Nabisco cookie pack for the $3 catalina? It should work right? The computer can’t possibly be that smart to know that they are free??

    • Stacey says

      April 22, 2010 at 10:45 PM

      @dawn,

Someone posted last week that they did that deal and it worked. I’m planning to try it too, if I can find the Mac & Cheese packs w/peelies! 😉

  13. Michelle says

    April 23, 2010 at 7:32 AM

I just made my successful trip to meijer! NO ONE was there so it was great! LOTS of mac n’ cheese with peelies and I had no problem getting all those capri suns for free along with using the mb coupons for the mac n’ cheese! Stocked up on 8 5-packs and mac n’ cheese and 2 things of deli meat! Awesome trip, I may go back for more!

  14. Julie says

    April 23, 2010 at 7:54 AM

Finished my run by 6:45. Quite a few people there stocking up on the mac and cheese. Shared my last 5 mb qs with a guy buying mac and cheese. Spent $15 on a cart full of stuff, including 2 transactions of this sale and 1 trans of betty crocker for that $8 cat again 🙂

  15. Jamie says

    April 23, 2010 at 8:38 AM

I was at Kmart yesterday and they had a Kraft display in the center aisle with a coupon tear pad. Save $1.00 on any Kraft Salad Dressing when you purchase any TWO (2) participating Kraft products. Participating products: A.1. Steak Sauce, Kraft Barbecue Sauce, Kraft Salad Dressing, Kraft Easy Mac Cups (4-pack).

If you have this coupon and buy a bunch of salad dressings, this will give you an additional $1 off every third (?) dressing.

  16. Dorinda says

    April 23, 2010 at 9:48 AM

We found capri sun and nabisco snack pack coupons on the mac and chz so we paired up the 2 capri sun and 1 nabisco snack packs coupons with the mac and chz and ended up with a 3.00 catalina coupon on top of the 1.00 off instantly and the 1.00 coupon for the mac and chz!! Sweet!! Thank you Jolyn for all you do!! You are awesome:)

  17. Jenifer Welch says

    April 23, 2010 at 10:02 AM

Did lots of these deals this morning at Meijer. I didn’t have lunchspot coupons but thanks to various catalinas and coupons my out of pocket was $4 for about $100 retail. Yay!!!

  18. Summer says

    April 23, 2010 at 10:53 AM

Wow! By 8:30am the mac/cheese was cleaned out except for 6 boxes (3 of which were very damaged and none had the capri sun coupon). Not a single regular miracle whip that counted towards the sale. I’m going to make a second trip today and hope they have restocked. I did do 2 transactions, but it always throws me off when I have to replan my shopping trip and recordinate my coupons at the store.

  19. junesummer21 says

went early this morning, did 3 seperate transactions. Got 7-5 box set of Mac and Cheese, 8 things of lunch meat, 3 packages of 100 calorie cheese bites, 5 boxes of ritz crackers (we were out and husband loves them) plus 7 boxes of capri suns. Used 4 catalinas from previous orders and 3 dollar cat from the sheese total $5.95! sweet!!!1

  20. gayle says

    April 23, 2010 at 11:15 AM

I went early this morning on my way to work, about 7:30. My store, the Commerce one was really well stocked. The mealbox Nabisco Snack Cracker coupon did not work on the Ritz Crackers. Not sure if is the right brand. Maybe they are not considered Snack Crackers? But the mealbox worked on the Macaroni and Cheese, and the Toaster Strudel I bought. Does anyone else have trouble with the mealbox coupons? I have gone to customer service and they have taken it off before, I am just not sure I am getting the right stuff, or doing it right. They told me there is no limit as long as I am buying the right item. I usually go to self scan and the cashier has to run those. They show up zero, they said that is because it comes off by the product. So I can’t see till it prints. Be careful if you buy the A&H that has extra ounces, I think it is 62 oz. It was displayed with the sale, but It rings up $5.19. The cashier fixed it, and was letting them know it was not scanning 1/2 off. I will go back tonight or tomorrow to see what the problem is with the mealbox, just wondered if anyone else has problems with them. I save them for last at self scan because I know the cashier has to enter them. Maybe I need to do them first?

    • Anne Ebel says

      April 23, 2010 at 3:13 PM

@gayle, I always save them for last too because it has NEVER gone through for me when I go through the U-Scan – they always have to ring them up at the register.

  21. kristen says

    April 23, 2010 at 11:58 AM

I did the same thing Dorinda did! The peelies on the mac and chees for the nabisco snack packs was for 2.50 off! I also found a tear pad in the store for free kool aid fun fizz when you bought the snack pack! So I got:

    3- 5 packs of mac n cheese (.49 each after $1 MMB/instant $1)
2- roarin’ waters capri sun (free from peelie)
1 cookie snack pack (1.50 after $2.50 off peelie)
1 Koolaid fun fizz (free fromtear pad)
    2- deli fresh lunch meat (free after $1/2 manu. $1/2 lunchspot,instant $1)
$3 off my next purchase from buying 2 caprisun/nabisco snack pack)

It’s like the perfect storm of coupons!
Also using some of these items toward the kraft $20 back to school rebate!

  22. Amy says

    April 23, 2010 at 12:03 PM

$2.50 Nabisco Ritz Crackers (7.5-16 oz), Ritz Bitz (7.5 oz), Toasted Chips (8.1 oz) or Crackerfuls (6 oz)
-$1.00 instant savings when you mix/match 5 items
-$1.00/2 Meijer Mealbox printable coupon (for Nabisco Snack Crackers, expires Fri, 4-23!)
$1.00 each when you buy 2 with coupon

I tried to use this MB coupon for the toasted chips but they were not coming up as “snack crackers” Only one of the varieties I got were . The lady said oh it has to be the pictured item, (no it does not) oh you cant use the MB ones with the -$5 sale (YES i just used the mac and cheese ones)

What a pain. I ened up just giving up and leaving all the items, Customer service was too long of a wait to deal with at the time so I am just going to try again later.

Any meijer just hand input them?

    • stacy says

      April 23, 2010 at 12:11 PM

Sorry you had a rough experience! Don’t let it get you down…We are allowed to use the MMB coupons with this sale. As for the MMB coupons, they can override it and hand enter the coupon. It sounds like maybe the coupon was too general and didn’t specify which products were a “snack cracker”. You can ask for manager approval before you start shopping. When it doesn’t scan and the coupon isn’t clear, it is their call. Hope this helps.

  23. LeAnn says

    April 23, 2010 at 12:07 PM

How would the coupon for the free Oreos and 1 gallon of milk and get a 2nd package of nabisco cookies for free work along with the Lunch spot coupon work? Would I get 2 oreos for free when buying the milk? Or do you think the oreo fudge cremes would not be the same thing?

  24. Sarah says

    April 23, 2010 at 2:08 PM

Just got back from my Meijer trip. They had tons of the Mac & Cheese packs with coupons… free capri sun OR $2.50 off nabisco snack pack peelies. So I was super excited and picked up 3 mac & cheese packages so I could get 2 capri suns and 1 snack pack to get the $3 cat. Unfortunately, I must have been wrong about which snack packs are required for the catalina. Is it only the cookie ones? I grabbed a 6-cookie & 6-cracker package and ended up not getting the $3 print out. So bummed! Especially since I don’t usually buy either of those products. But in the end I paid less than $4 for 15 boxes of mac & cheese, 2 packages of capri sun, and the snack packs (would have been less than $3 if I’d taken 3 mac & cheese coupons)… so still a great deal!

    • Amy says

      April 23, 2010 at 8:48 PM

@Sarah, I had the same thing happen today no CAT :(. I also bought the ones with the cookie/cracker combo. I didn’t ask at customer service about it, but I’m tempted to return them tomorrow and try again with a different one. That’s if theres any left.

      • Jolyn says

        April 24, 2010 at 7:31 AM

The cookie/cracker combinations are not included in the Catalina (checkout coupon) offer, only the small Lunchables subs.

      • joy says

        April 24, 2010 at 9:59 AM

Just want to let you know that if you return any consumable item, Meijer will not resell that item. If you return it right at the time of purchase, they will generally return it to the shelf, but if you bring it home and return it, they will throw it away, for safety reasons. You can check with your local Meijer on their specific policy. Just wanted you to be aware – perhaps it’s better to keep the item, or donate the item, or remember to return it at the time of purchase. My point of view. I thought I would mention it because lots of people may not know that there’s a lot of wasted food may be generated.

        • Mary B says

          April 24, 2010 at 7:58 PM

          @joy,
My meijer claims to have this policy as well, but I don’t think it’s a sensible one.

  25. Summer says

    April 23, 2010 at 2:20 PM

The Ritz pretzel crackers (munchables??) are part of the sale too. There were $1/1 newspaper insert coupons, paired with the LunchSpot coupons – FREE!!

  26. Anne Ebel says

    April 23, 2010 at 3:10 PM

At the Meijer at 15 Mile and Utica rd. today, the 5 pks of Mac & Cheese rang up as only $1.49 (before the $5/5 came off and before the Mealbox coupons). I bought 3 Mac & Cheeses and 2 chips ahoy (with the $1/2 facebook coupon) and got 3 free Capri Suns and walked out of there with all of that stuff for free! I tried to tell the man that was working that they must have it in the computer wrong and that I thought I owed $3.47 for all of it, but he said that Mac-Cheese had been $1.49 for the 5 pack all week. Wow!!

    • Jamie says

      April 24, 2010 at 1:57 PM

@Anne Ebel, I went to the same one yesterday. They were ringing up at $3.80 a piece and had to be manually overridden. The cashier told me that they’re watching them carefully because they crashed the whole system earlier.

  27. Melanie says

    April 23, 2010 at 4:30 PM

I went to Meijer and they had plenty of the items. I got the mac n cheese with the Capri Sun peelies, but they are completely wiped out of the Roaring Waters. I asked a manager (Pat in Howell) if I had to purchase the Capri Sun at the same time as the mac n cheese. He thought I did, but said that they would honor the coupon at a later date. He did, however, recommend saving my receipt as proof that I did buy the mac n cheese.
Does anyone know if you have to get your free Capri Sun in the same transaction as the mac n cheese???

    • KELLY says

      April 23, 2010 at 9:03 PM

@Melanie, When I went today there were all out of the Roaring Waters Capri Sun so they let me substiute for ther regular kind of Capri Sun. They said it is all the same price so they would honor the coupon on the other flavor. Maybe ask our store about that.

      • Anne says

        April 24, 2010 at 10:17 AM

@KELLY, They let me substitute the regular Capri Suns too.

Went this morning with my daughter. I haven’t been able to go after the deals all week so we were set to do several. I’ve never had such a hassle in all my shopping at Meijer’s and trust me I’ve had hassles before. It got to the point where they were inspecting every coupon. I was finally asked if I had any more shopping and told them when we were done with this that we were done. They said they had the right to limit any transactions and as long as we were done we could finish. We didn’t exceed any limit, such as the 2 boxes per person of Kraft. We were ringing up separate transactions at one of the long u-scans so we would not confuse ourselves with the different deals with coupons or hold anyone up in line. We never had anyone behind us in line that waited! We had nothing but problem after problem with the Meijer Meal Box coupons. They always have to manually ring them in at the u-scans. They told me that they had to validate my coupons because they were incorrect. My, oh my did it take all the patience we had to complete. We finally said enough. We would have purchase other items but were extremely upset that we were told they were limiting us.

    • Christina says

      April 23, 2010 at 10:00 PM

      April 24, 2010 at 7:33 AM

Make sure you complete the survey at the bottom of your receipt – or call a manager and speak with him/her directly. Your store needs to know about your experience.

Thank you, thank you, thank you! Oh I love your website. I just got back from Meijers. This was an awesome sale. I had a trunk load and spent less than $17 total. That included getting some stuff that wasn’t in this sale also.

  30. Jaime says

    April 23, 2010 at 9:32 PM

Thanks for all of the information!! I had gotten lots of the mac n’ cheese. Some for us but lots to donate too along w/ all the capri sun packs!! On the coupon it says free UP TO $2.99! Our Meijer in the Lansing area was out of the raging water variety so I asked for a rain check or since I HAVE to purchase it w/ the Mac n’ cheese will they substitute….. yup for any kind I wanted. I picked the 100% Juice for $2.99!! YES. I don’t like my daughter drinking the sugary kind so I love that I could pick the 100% juice. I ended up with a CAR FULL of stuff for less that $20 out of pocket. My husband was really excited about the pop sale.

    1 Chips Ahoy
    2 OM Deli meats
    1 Kraft dressing
2 free Capri sun w/coupon from mac and cheese

All for $6.74, everything was in stock, no problem using all of the coupons. The cashier had to help with them, but no issues!! Saved $28 and we use every item regularly!! Thanks a bunch

  34. Debbie says

    April 24, 2010 at 11:01 AM

I had a great experience with this sale…saved $80, spent $20! No problems with the coupon match ups. I was once told that ALL mealbox coupons will always need verifying when you use the self scan. At least now I know to expect this. Also, I have noticed that many people are only grabbing small quantities of the meat. I believe this will freeze pretty well, same with the cheese. In the past, I have frozen sliced ham from the deli and it defrosted just fine. If you are going to freeze your cheese, make sure it is in the form you would like to use it later (grated, cubed, sliced etc) it will be a little more crumbly after it has been frozen.

  35. Pam says

    April 24, 2010 at 12:37 PM

Did the survey, contacted to customer representative and explained all the problems. They then connected me with the store director. I spent 45 minutes on the phone with everyone. I explained all the numerous different problems we had because they were all different. She did say that after 3 coupons they have to authorize the coupons and all after that. She said she couldn’t imagine a cashier telling me that I’m the only one they have to do that with! They have to do that all the time. She said that she wouldn’t apologize for her cashiers but would bring it to the attention of the leadership team how to handle the situations better next time. Not a lot of resolvement.

I am SO loaded w/ mac & cheese & Capri Sun! I don’t normally buy Capri Sun so my kids were really excited. I thought they would be great for summer parties & I’m donating most of the mac & cheese to the school Back Pack Food Drive. I bought 10 packs of mac & cheese to donate ($5). This was such a great deal!

Thanks Jolyn! I just have to share:

    4 cookies ($1.00 each)
    6 mac n chz ($0.49 each)
    2 arm & hammer detergent (2.09 ea.)
    1 kraft dressing ($1.50)
    3 chunk chz ($1.00 each)
4 BC muffin mix (.67 ea)
2 lays kettle cooked chips (1.65 ea)
    1 can forumla (12.99)
10 beechnut baby food (.30 ea)
    4 franks (free)
    mustard .(99)
bagels (free from catilna Q from buying cream chz earlier this week)

they were out of lunch meat totally and had no rainchecks allowed 🙁 —–so I didn’t get any of that.

Also, my Meijer didn’t have the capri sun peelie..it was something else.. I was in a hurry and didn’t check it out. I know I should have..

BUT that was one of my best trips. I had some earlier catlina coupons and $1.80 in bottles.

Total out of pocket was $2.12
The receipt says I saved $87.22….who knows how accurate that is?

    WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
