MEIJER COUPON POLICY 

View Meijer’s official coupon policy online here. 

  • Metro Detroit Meijer stores will double manufacturer coupons up to $0.50, but no more than 2 identical coupons per transaction. Additional identical coupons and any store coupons will be redeemed at face value. You may want to call your location before shopping to verify. For best savings on multiple items with coupons that will double, divide your order into multiple transactions (this is most easily done at the U-scan).
  • You can print 2 copies of each printable coupon per computer, with some exceptions. Use your back button and refresh the screen if necessary or return to the original coupon link. There is no limit on the amount of Meijer Mealbox store coupons you may print.
  • When a particular advertised sale item is out of stock, be sure to ask your cashier or a customer service assistant for a raincheck.

MEIJER MEALBOX STORE COUPONS 

Meijer Mealbox printable store coupons are available at meijermealbox.com. You may want to print a copy of the Meijer Mealbox store policy and keep it with your shopping list to show your cashier (in case they aren’t familiar with corporate policy): 

1.) Mealbox coupons may be used in addition to manufacturer coupons. 

2.) Mealbox coupons may be used each time a condition is met, which could be multiple times per transaction. (For example: a coupon for $1.00 off 2 soups can be used multiple times if you have a coupon printed and the number of soups purchased matches, i.e. 2 coupons = 4 soups.) 

3.) Mealbox coupons cannot be doubled or tripled at any time. 

4.) Stores have the right to limit the quantity of items to normal retail purchases per transaction.

  2. According to your CAT list, it looks like the Nabisco 100 Cal Packs double up…if you buy 3, you get $3 (from the same CAT as the Cottage Doubles), but then if you buy 3 you also get $2. The sizes listed are different (5-12ct, vs. 3.7oz+), but is this true? If you buy 3 boxes, you actually get $5 back?

  3. The printable for the fruit gushers says “Do Not Double” which in turn would make them $0.50, if you buy six they would be $0.41. Unless I am not thinking straight. Is this what would happen? Thanks for the help and LOVE this site!

    • I need to add a note to that. Printable coupons whose bar codes begin with 5 will automatically double (the first two identical coupons), UNLESS a cashier decides to override the coupon by manually entering it. While it’s possible that it might not double, 95% of the time it will.

    • @Nik, My Meijer will not double coupons marked “do not double” at the u-scan… however if you go to a cashier the register will double those coupons!

          One thing that I learned from Uscan is this, and may be the difference between doubling and not. Cover the barcode that does not have the UPC. I think that is the key. I usually put my finger over it. I learned that during the Betty Crocker sale. It was scanning the wrong code and therefore not doubling.

  6. is there a limit on the number of subs i can buy in one transaction? what if i have 10 coupons? can i buy all ten at once?

      I used a max of 15, you risk the chance of running into problems printing on the cat machine. Just my 2 cents.

  7. What zip code are you using for Newman’s pasta sauce, I can’t find the printable coupon. Do you think they pulled it already?

  8. Just a couple of things I noticed. The Shout .55/1 coupons expire on 5/1, and the Kraft 100 cal pack coupons expire today. If anyone has any with longer expiration dates please let me know where you found them because I have yet to find any of the Shout in stock (and it’s a no raincheck item).

    Secondly, I found a Special K flyer with $10 in coupons at the Royal Oak Meijer today. The coupons are 5 coupons that are each for $2.00 off Milk, Coffee, Produce, Bottled water, or beauty products when you buy various Special K products. I’m not currently seeing any deals with these, but I just wanted to let you know they are out there since they are good until 7/9.

  9. The Skinny cow link says print deal is over. Just FYI. I love The Skinny Cow stuff too. There were q’s from All You May issue. I think it was $1 off any, I used mine already as they are cheaper at Walmart.

  11. I think the coupon for the Nestle Drumsticks are for the new Lil Drumsticks ( at least thats what coupon preview sites say) so not sure that they will work with the 2.50 ones that are on sale.

    Also have a question, I noticed that the ice cream coupons in the May All You magazine say in the corner valid Only at Your Local Super Center. Will Meijer take these? Thanks

    • Hmmm. Couponmom.com’s database lists that coupon as “Nestle Drumstick Lil Drums Sundae Cone or 4ct or 8ct Drumstick Sundae Cone.” Since the $2.50 sale is on the 4ct Drumsticks Sundae Cone, I’m assuming it will be fine. However, we won’t know until we have the coupon tomorrow!

      The All You coupons have always worked at Meijer. Meijer is in fact a local supercenter, though All You would like you to use the coupons at WalMart. 🙂

      The All You Drumstick coupon is for an 8-ct. box, so that one won’t work. There’s a Skinny Cow Q in there too, though!

  12. I have the flyer at home, but not where I’m at right now. Aren’t the Kellogg’s cereals next week $1.99? I didn’t imagine that, did I? Because if so, then the deal you posted for Kroger for the CAT would also work for Meijer.

  15. I needed the Kraft singles that are 2/$5 and forgot to use the Lunch box q, but I had a Meijer catalina for buy 2 Kraft singles and get a Kraft Melt downs free and finally found them in stock. Anyway I did not see them in the ad and they are 2/$4 and I have several $1 off any one Meijer catalinas. I wondered if others have that q to and that is why they were not in stock.
    They would be $1 per package with the q.

    Also if anyone has the Vocalpoint q’s for Puffs with lotion they would be cheap with the .50 doubled they 1.29 on sale so .29 each. The q’s were mostly .50 off any 1 Puffs with lotion.

  16. I used the 1.00 Mccormick cpn on the grinders with no problems at all. You just have to make sure its not the free item in the 10 for 10 deal.

    • Is there a certian order so that you can guarentee that certian items don’t ring up as the free item. I tried to look at my reciepts, but haven’t been able to see any pattern. Thanks!!

      • @Leslie, I think it’s the order that you scan them at the time. Whatever you scan as your 11th item will be free. I think!

    • @Christina, In previous 10/10 sales the 11th item scanned was not the FREE item. One I recall was when Gerber baby food was included in the 10/10 but was only .96. I scanned my bread last (11th) which was 1.00 but it took off one of the baby foods as free. I’m guessing because it was cheaper. But I was still able to use my coupons for the Gerber without any problems.

          Also, are you all saying that if you have a coupon for your 11th item, which is free, the computer won’t take off the coupon?? I never knew this, but I think it has happened to me before. Thanks for the tip.

  17. Assuming that Frosted Mini Wheats are included in the catalina promotion, there are $1.00/2 coupons available, making those a good deal as well!

    • Frosted Mini Wheats are included in the Catalina (all Kelloggs cereal 8 oz or more).

      However, the sale includes Frosted Mini Wheats Bite Size and the current coupons I could find were for Frosted Mini Wheats or Mini Wheats Little Bites, which aren’t the same.

  18. I just finished shopping at Meijer and should have received $11 worth of Catalina coupons ($3 for 3 Breakstone singles, $5 for 4 pizza rolls and $3 for 4 cereal). I didn’t realize until I left that nothing printed. Has anyone been successful in getting coupons the next day by bringing in their receipt? I already called but the service desk is closed since it’s 11:30 pm.

    • Sounds like your Catalina machine may have been out of order. The cereal and Totino’s Catalina’s are advertised in this week’s ad, which will help you at customer service. The Breakstone’s may or may not be advertised in your store – you can ask politely if they would look it up for you on their computer. If they’re not helpful, call Catalina Mktg directly at 1-888-8COUPON.

      • @Jolyn, This has happened to me twice, but I went to the service desk before I left the store. One time, the catalina machine had a paper jam, and I don’t know what happened the other time.
        Our Meijer does not have a list of catalina deals at the service desk (nor do the cashiers have a list) so what they have done for me is to have me return all of the items that should have printed out a cat Q and then they total that purchase and issue a gift card in that amount. I then go through the self scan and rescan my items and use the gift card to pay, then I got my cat Q’s. I would recommend taking those items with you and ask to return them and have the balance put on a gift card.

      This is EXACTLY why I always do the penny trick. If a cashier ever asks why I am doing it I explain that I want to confirm that the catalina is printing. If not…then the machine isn’t working or I messed up the deal.

        • @Christina, As soon as you pay for the purchase the Cats will print. Put in a penny to fool the system and the cats should print. It has worked for me before!

            There’s nothing wrong with using the penny trick as a way to guarantee your Catalinas will print as expected. Know that some cashiers may question your actions. Be careful, however, and remember that the Catalina coupons that print are intended (according to their limitations and fine print) to be used on your NEXT order. Using them to pay for your current order creates an unethical use of coupons.

      This happened to me with the 100 Cal cheese 2 weeks ago; the machine looked fine but the paper was stuck — so it “printed” but the paper didn’t advance. I pointed it out to the self-scan cashier and she fixed the machine, but I was still missing a $3 cat. The CS line was super long and I needed to get to daycare to pick up my kids, so I just left the store. The next day, I took in my receipt and the cat advertisement (I happened to have a printed ad) to CS and explained my story. She issued me a store coupon with no hassle. So it’s worth a try!

  20. Does anyone know the Meijer price on the Skinny Cow ice cream sandwiches? I checked the Price Drop/Everyday Best Price List but nothing is there. I’m wondering because Busch’s has the Skinny Cow for $3.50 with a mail-in form for the Catalina deal. Thanks.

    • I wasn’t sure if they would be discounted this week at all, but I checked the prices last week and they ranged from $3.50ish to $4.99.

  21. Has anyone tried the Cascadian Farms Catalina deal? I bought two boxes last week, with two coupons, and a Catalina did not print. I went to the service desk and they just hand-wrote a $2 coupon for me (without even checking!)… but I was wondering if I did something wrong with the deal. Is it for ANY Cascadian Farms cereal?

  25. The Charmin toilet paper deal seems to be a good one. It’s 13.99 each so buy 2 packs for 27.98 total then use the $1/2 coupon from the 5/2 PG insert for an OOP of 26.98. A catalina will print for $5 off. So the total per double roll of tp is 36 cents per double roll. Anytime I can pay less than 50 cents per double roll, I think it’s a good deal.

  28. One quick thing I just noticed – I got my Busch’s ad. On it is a rebate for the Edy’s Dibs, Drumsticks, Skinny Cow and Haagen Daz. It says spend $12 and get a $4 rebate. It does not say that it must be a Busch’s receipt it just says store receipt. Any thoughts if this would work with the Meijer deal?

    • @Esther, I looked at this form closely and it appears you absolutely could send in your receipt for the $4 CASH refund. I also looked around the internet and there is some positive buzz concerning this rebate. You don’t even need an official form, you can send for this rebate with a 3×5 card. Sounds like FREE ice cream when you purchase 5 Drumsticks at $2.50 each, use 5 $1 coupons, get instant $4 Cat, then mail your receipt for $4 cash!

  29. Do you know if I get 10 boxes of Kelloggs in 1 transaction if I will get 2 catalinas for $4 each or do I need to do it in separate transactions? Also the same question for the Totinos Pizza rolls.

    • @LeAnn, Verbiage on catalina says “5 or more, receive $4” so it’s only one cat per transaction. However, I can confirm that that cat does roll so you can give them the $4 cat to pay for the next set no problem. I tried it yesterday.

  31. Brighton Meijer had “Steamers” 10 for $10 sale, not the “Birdseye Steamfresh”. Was bummed, as I had 8 coupons ready to spend.

    • I believe that the Green Giant Steamers ARE unadvertised and part of the 10 for $10 sale. The Birds Eye Steamfresh rice and vegetables are listed on the website as a price drop (just $1.00, not part of the 10 for $10 items) – there may be no sign in your store indicating the price, but the Birds Eye will scan at that price.

  35. Today I made a trip to Meijer. I felt like I’d worked a shift there by the time I was through. I was there two hours and much of it was spent at the customer service desk. The short version is the catalina machine in the lane I used wasn’t working, so I had to argue with the c.s.d. clerk to get what was due me. I was able to get all except one, that’s what I want to tell you all about. I bought four boxes of Frosted Mini Wheats, no catalina printed. She did it at the c.s.d., still no catalina printed. After about 10 minutes she finally got someone from grocery to call, they said that I would get $2, and that the sign was old, it should have been taken down yesterday because of the two day sale. That makes no sense for a couple of different reasons. So, even though I should have gotten $3, I figured $2 was better than nothing. I tried to tell her that the catalina should not have been taken down but there was no convincing her. By the way I live in Jackson, Michigan, this is what my store said. Maybe you’ll have a different experience, maybe you’ll find people who work there and know what they’re doing. Good luck.

      But it is funny what explanations people will invent instead of just saying “we don’t know!”
