This is a favorite in our house with the kids and adults. Not only is it easy to make and short on ingredients, but it is sugar-free and lower in fat! We often make a batch or two to take when traveling or as a fun family night treat!
GLUTEN-FREE OPTION: Use Corn and Rice Chex with gluten-free pretzels (or leave the pretzels out) to create a delicious gluten-free snack mix!

HONEY CINNAMON SNACK MIX
Ingredients
4 cups Chex or Crispix cereal (any varieties)
1-2 cups Pretzels (small shapes work best)
1/3 cup Honey
1 Tbsp. Canola oil
Cinnamon, to taste
- Mix honey and oil thoroughly. Add cinnamon according to taste (I usually add 1-2 tablespoons).
- Mix honey combination gently with cereal in a large microwaveable bowl.
- Microwave uncovered 1 minute, then stir. Microwave for 3 or 4 more 45 second increments, stirring well to coat in between (and being careful not to burn!).
- Spread on a wax paper lined cookie sheet to cool; sprinkle with additional cinnamon and sugar if desired. Enjoy!
