*DOUBLE COUPONS - This deal requires a coupon to DOUBLE at Meijer. Note that Metro Detroit Meijer stores will double only 2 identical coupons (up to $0.50) per transaction. See additional notes below.

MEIJER COUPON POLICY

View Meijer’s official coupon policy online here.

  • Metro Detroit Meijer stores will double manufacturer coupons up to $0.50, but no more than 2 identical coupons per transaction. Additional identical coupons and any store coupons will be redeemed at face value. You may want to call your location before shopping to verify. For best savings on multiple items with coupons that will double, divide your order into multiple transactions (this is most easily done at the U-scan).
  • You can print 2 copies of each printable coupon per computer, with some exceptions. Use your back button and refresh the screen if necessary or return to the original coupon link. There is no limit on the amount of Meijer Mealbox store coupons you may print.
  • When a particular advertised sale item is out of stock, be sure to ask your cashier or a customer service assistant for a raincheck.

MEIJER MEALBOX STORE COUPONS

You may want to print a copy of the Meijer Mealbox store policy and keep it with your shopping list to show your cashier (in case they aren’t familiar with corporate policy):

1.) Mealbox coupons may be used in addition to manufacturer coupons.

2.) Mealbox coupons may be used each time a condition is met, which could be multiple times per transaction. (For example: a coupon for $1.00 off 2 soups can be used multiple times if you have a coupon printed and the number of soups purchased matches, i.e. 2 coupons = 4 soups.)

3.) Mealbox coupons cannot be doubled or tripled at any time.

4.) Stores have the right to limit the quantity of items to normal retail purchases per transaction.

Yes, you should be able to use them on any Nature Valley bars. Double check the wording to be sure.

8 Laura July 10, 2010 at 9:58 AM

As always, many THANKS for compiling this list and helping so many of us save money. Has anyone done the fruit-of-the-loom deal before? I’m thinking of purchasing $10 in Kellogg’s cereals with some coupons and then socks for my husband – he’s hard on them, so it’s actually usually a better value to get better quality ones on sale at Kohls. But . . . the socks would be “free” here. Anyone have a comment on the Fruit of the Loom men’s socks – worth doing? Thank you! Happy weekend!

9 BarbB July 10, 2010 at 12:21 PM

My husband is hard on socks also and he prefers the Hanes over the FOTL. HTH some and thank you to all who contribute to this blog. I love it :)

10 Kim July 10, 2010 at 1:11 PM

The Meijers in Auburn Hills doubled all 5 of my like coupons. I was shocked as i thought that all meijers had a limit of 2. If your close you might want to check it out.

11 Ashley July 11, 2010 at 7:26 PM

I had a check out lady the other day actually bring to attention that I had 3 identical (I forgot I put three like things in one transaction) and then tell me that she would make sure to double it! So I thought that was pretty nice! :)

12 BarbB July 11, 2010 at 8:24 PM

Kim,
Another girl over at AFC said that her store doubled all of her coupons and she bought 40 boxes of fruit snacks LOL. Sadly my store still stopped at the 2nd one tonight :( I wish they’d do more than 2. At least do 10 or something. I have a large family. Sure would be nice.

13 Marie July 10, 2010 at 4:50 PM

i received a catalina alert coupon: buy any minute maid fridge packs between 6/25 and 7/18, save up to $3.00… buy 2 get $1, 3 get $2, 4 get $3… i know that ends next week, but just thought i’d comment….

14 leann July 10, 2010 at 5:38 PM

Do you know if the $5 catalina from the BC and yoplait products will roll?

15 Jolyn July 10, 2010 at 5:45 PM

No rolling on this one. According to the ad, “Additional coupon offer will not print if coupon is redeemed in the same transaction.”

16 leann July 10, 2010 at 6:41 PM

Does the BCfruit rollup cat roll?

17 quebe July 10, 2010 at 8:14 PM

hi there, i am a little confused, last week at meijers, i received a cat for 6.00 off my next purchase of 45.00, i thought it was great, but wondered how i got it so that i could do it again as i bought nothing out of the norm, besides, bread, milk, meat, etc, then this week i went again, spent that one and this time i got one for 7.00 off my next purchase of 45.00, did anyone else get these and if so can you tell me why we are getting these so that we can do it again,,,,,thanks in advance for any info.

18 Jolyn July 10, 2010 at 8:22 PM

Those Catalina coupons are usually randomly awarded to shoppers – it could be because of the total amount you spent or simply the day/week you shopped. As far as I know, no one has figured out the trigger for coupons like that – you’re just usually thankful when you get them!

19 quebe July 11, 2010 at 9:41 AM

oh, thanks for the info and we are very thankful when we get them, maybe it has something to do with being the longest in a transaction as we have the cashiers from hell who think we are criminals for using cashiers each week at our store and this transaction of 64 items, took 45 minutes to cash out and last week i had 76 items and that took 38 minutes to cash out so maybe that could be it, not sure but i am sure happy to spend them and i am looking for a new meijers in the area or i am just going to start shopping at kroger

20 Sarah July 13, 2010 at 8:46 PM

I find I get things like that often when I use my debit card or Meijer reward card, but not if I pay cash.

21 jen July 10, 2010 at 9:03 PM

My friend bought 5 fruit snacks and 2 gogurt , 2 kids yogurt
got a $5, $3.50 and and $2 oyno for buying 4 yoplait multipacks. Maybe the
cat is working now. I know the yoplait trix was regular price 1.99 before it went
on price drop for 1.99. I wont be going to Meijer until later in the week to check.

33 ChristinaN July 13, 2010 at 7:57 PM

This scenario worked for me tonight.I shopped at the 26 mile and vandyke Meijer. The yoplait dora cups are 1.99 and the gogurt was 2.49.I received the $5,$3.50 and the $2.00 cat. Thanks for sharing!

34 Jenn July 12, 2010 at 11:32 AM

Anyone know if the GM/Yoplait cat deal includes all products, or just the ones listed in the ad?

35 Heidi July 12, 2010 at 2:57 PM

There is a .50/1 Fiber One Chewy Bars coupon on the Target website that is a manufacturer’s coupon (and no Target logo) which makes them only .49/box! :)

36 Heidi July 12, 2010 at 3:44 PM

Also, there are some $1/2 coupons on the fiber one website: http://fiberone.com/Offers/offers.aspx

37 Annfairfax July 13, 2010 at 9:40 PM

Thanks Heidi. Yum, Yum

38 Kathryn July 12, 2010 at 5:59 PM

Organix shampoo is B1G1 and are on sale for 4.49. There may also be “Try Me Free” handtags on them, which would make two free bottles. Just in case anyone wanted to know.

39 Kathryn July 12, 2010 at 11:01 PM

They also have larger bottles for the same price, which are “100% larger”

40 leann July 15, 2010 at 7:36 PM

Thanks Kathryn! I bought the b1g1 on the Organix and already have the rebate for the mail. I was a little disappointed that it cost 4.29 and they only took off 3.70 for the “free” one but still a great deal. I bought the 13 oz conditioners as I forgot you said there was a larger bottle.

41 Kathryn July 16, 2010 at 7:50 PM

That’s weird. Mine took off 4.49 for the free one.

42 liz July 12, 2010 at 9:52 PM

Dollar Tree has mini boxes of apple jacks 4 for $1 (.92oz/ea)…great for on the go or camping (just pour the milk right in the plastic portion of the box – all you need is a spoon). Anyways, on the back of each box is a $1 off coupon for a regular box of Apple Jacks or Fruit Loops. With the deal this week, you could use the $1 off each box, making them only $0.99/ea.

43 liz July 12, 2010 at 9:52 PM

i’m in the lansing area.

44 liz July 13, 2010 at 4:50 PM

sorry, didn’t realize that aj and fl aren’t included in the kellogs $1.99 sale. bummer!

45 Jenny July 12, 2010 at 11:38 PM

I just tried out the Betty Crocker/Yolpait deal and found out that Bisquick counts towards the $15! Here’s what I got:

(4) BC Fruit Gushers: $1.69×4= $6.76
(1) Bisquick: $1.99
(1) Yoplait Kids Yogurt: $1.99
(2) BC Brownies: $1.67×2 = $3.34
(1) Yoplait Greek Yogurt: $0.99
—–
Subtotal = $15.07
Coupons = -$5.35
Total = $9.72
Plus, I received $5 off and $2.50 CATs. So I paid $2.22 for everything!

46 Deb July 13, 2010 at 3:09 AM

Meijer has SoBe Life Waters on PRICE DROP for $1.00 through 9/5. You can use the SoBe B1G1 coupons and the final price for 2 will be $1.00 or .50 per bottle.

47 Tracy July 13, 2010 at 8:35 PM

My meijer will not take internet coupons for free products even B1G1.

48 elizabeth July 13, 2010 at 4:19 PM

If anyone received the free smaple of Crystal Light Fitness from Vocalpoint a couple of weeks ago, the three coupons for $2 off can be used with this week’s sale. The CL Fitness is included in the sale of 2 for $4 so they are free after the coupons.

49 leann July 13, 2010 at 10:46 PM

53 leann July 14, 2010 at 7:28 PM

I went to Meijers in Maumee tonight and the Vlasic sugar free sweet relish and regular relish was on sale for .99. With the .55 coupon it was .44.

54 leann July 14, 2010 at 10:12 PM

I also have several 75 cents Deans dip coupons that came out from cash register when I bought deans dip recently to make them .14 cents each! I sure wish I could freeze it.

59 April July 15, 2010 at 9:38 AM

There were $1 peelies on the Kraft 8 oz cheese packages last week, by 5 packages with coupons & cat = FREE cheese!

60 April July 16, 2010 at 7:53 PM

Just did the deal at Meijer, not realizing the cat starts 7/19!…. So I went straight to the service desk and explained my confusion and asked if I could return the cheese. They said they would just give me the $5 coupon if I’d like to keep the cheese! Yeah!!!

Also found Yakisabo noodles on clearance for $.52 and used the $1/2 to get them for $.02 each!

61 April July 16, 2010 at 7:56 PM

Also found $.55 coupons hanging on the Vlasic relish…. I had printed a coupon from smartsource months back that did not expire until 12/31/10 for $.50 so I scored FREE relish!

62 Kim July 15, 2010 at 11:01 AM

Ii just had the worst cashier at Meijer (26 and VanDyke). She MANUALLY changed the printable coupons that automatically doubled b/c she said they stated “do not double” I have never seen this happen!!! So I did the Yoplait/BC deal and my .30 coupons and my .50 coupons for the yogurts did not double (well they DID and she changed it!!) so still a good deal for me, but not as great. I was soooo annoyed, but there wasn’t much for me to argue. uggggghhhhh

63 leann July 15, 2010 at 7:38 PM

The Meijers in Maumee has the Balllpark franks for $1 so I used the .75 c to make them .25. Bought 7! That should last a couple weeks.

64 Deb July 16, 2010 at 2:59 AM

I saw this Instant Savings tag for Kraft in the Salad Dressing aisle today:

BUY 3 Kraft Salad Dressing, Miracle Whip OR Mayo 22oz or larger, GET $1 off instantly at the register. Valid: 7/11-8

65 Emily July 16, 2010 at 9:52 AM

I actually do argue the do not double thing. On the back of my ad it states that
they double coupons up to .50. It does not state anywhere on the ad that they
exculde coupons that say do not double and there are no signs posted in the store that states they exclude these coupons either. It is the store that doubles the coupons not the manufacturer so it shouldnt matter what the coupon says. I then ask them to get me a manager and show them the ad and they have always said
to double them. You can always take your receipt to the service desk next time you go shopping and just tell them your coupons did not double and you would like the difference.

66 Kelly July 16, 2010 at 8:12 PM

There are additional $1/2 – Fiber One Bar printable coupons on the Fiber One site: http://www.fiberone.com/Offers/offers.aspx

67 Robin July 17, 2010 at 6:54 AM

Has anyone tried Suddenly Salad toward the Betty Crocker deal? Its .99 cent this week and with the .50/2 it would make an easy filler at a net.49 cent a piece?

68 Marilyn July 17, 2010 at 7:23 PM

OK. Took the printable Nature Valley coupons to the Meijer store near me (Coollidge in Troy). They manually prevented them from doubling as well. I asked to speak with a manager and she told me that the manufacturer reimburses for the doubled coupons, so they could not double the “Do Not Double” coupons. I may try the service desk idea next time.

69 Jolyn July 17, 2010 at 7:34 PM

She was right – they don’t get reimbursed for the doubled value. It’s a STORE-offered and advertised discount, though, (Meijer pays for the doubled value of ANY coupon as an incentive to get you to shop with your coupons there) and you deserve it regardless. Many times I just ask for those items to be voided from my order if the cashier/manager fails to understand. The “do not double” is just a warning to the store that if they choose to double the coupon, they won’t be reimbursed by the manufacturer for more than the face value of the coupon (which they SHOULD understand).
