Kroger Catalina Promotions
Unless otherwise stated, all Catalina offers are limited to one per transaction. Read more about what to do if your Catalina coupon doesn’t print as expected.
Have you received a Catalina advertisement at a Kroger register? Please share in the comments!
KROGER COUPON POLICY
You can now view the Kroger coupon policy for Michigan online.
Please that Kroger’s coupon policy clearly states in each store ad: Limit 3 Manufacturer’s Coupons will be Doubled (up to $0.50) per Like Items Purchased.
NOTE on Printable Coupons: Some Kroger stores have been denying the redemption of any printable coupon over $1, so proceed with caution when using printable coupons. You can view/print the Kroger Print-at-Home Coupon Acceptance Policy here, which does not specifically restrict the use of printables over $1.
You WILL need a Kroger card to take advantage of these offers; sign up for one at the Customer Service desk if you do not have one!
KROGER SHOPPING TIPS
SELECT Kroger stores outside of Macomb (some stores in Saginaw and Genessee counties along with the Howell location – view a full list here or a map of stores here) will double manufacturer’s coupons up to $1.00! This can mean a great savings (and some potential free items each week). If your travels happen to take you north, check the Kroger ad (search by zip code) for the areas you’re passing through. You just might want to pack your coupons, too!
Load digital coupons to your Kroger card before you shop: visit Cellfire, P&G eSaver, Shortcuts and Kroger Digital Coupons. Each website lists the e-coupons that can be loaded onto your Kroger Card so that you can save even more! E-coupons are limited to one use per card and will NOT double. Kroger digital coupons may NOT be combined with actual paper manufacturer coupons.
This post is a proud part of Be Centsable’s Grocery Gathering.
R. Mac says
I’ve got the .75/1 Sierra mist coupon. Makes for some really cheap pop. I’m going to donate it to the church! They always make punch and sometimes they put pop in it. Too bad my store doesn’t double uo to 1.00! They would be free! lol.
Kelly says
Could you tell me where you found the .75/1 Sierra Mist coupon?
Sue says
Little Ceasar’s had some they were giving out with their pizza back in July.
amanda says
iF all you get is p and g stuff will the money then deduct from your p and g items?
ashley says
No, it states in the circular that the $4 will come off NON PG items.
I’m wondering if we can do this transaction multiple times? I don’t normally shop at Kroger but I’d like to do this transaction twice. Does Kroger allow this or is it limited to once per kroger card?
Kay says
It all depends on the Kroger. I shop the Flint, Flint township area. The Krogers in Flint allow you to do 2 or 3 transactions, the one in Flint township limit you to 1 transaction per check-out.
Cindy says
Kay, I shop at the Krogers in Flint township area and I do 4 or 5 transactions and they always let me. Actually yesterday when I went I had 8 transactions and they didnt say anything to me and everything went through and I got the deals.
Christi says
Why do you need to do more than 1 or 2 transactions? This is why the coupon policies are going to become more strict. People taking advantage of the stores and the rest of us that coupon legitimately. I go to the store and the shelves are clear! I hear the workers talking about some ‘extreme couponer’ that had just cleared everything out. Now I have to go to another location and hope they are stocked.
Tonya says
I do several transactions as well. Most of the time it’s the only way to get the items for the price they are advertised for when there is an ad like this. I shop at a Kroger in Warren and have not had a problem doing several transactions at once. I really do think it depends on the time of day. I’m sure they may say something if it’s an exceptionally busy time of day.
Theresa says
The Kroger’s usually will post if there is a limit in the sales paper. I was able to buy as many multiplies of 4 as long as I had non PG items to buy that would cover the $4 for each.
Tiffany says
So is this the true price of the product or what??? It says the price is BLANK when you purchase four participating items…This is very confusing…How do I know what is the price you will actually pay?? It doesnt make any sense that it says 1.00 off under the p&g products but then says 4 off non P&G stuff…
Jolyn says
It would be the final price of the product, assuming that you plan on picking up $4 of additional items at Kroger this week. I’m sorry if it’s confusing. I was following the Kroger ad and attempting to explain it as simply as possible.
Tiffany says
Oh and how many $4.00 off are you allowed in one transaction??
Jolyn says
There’s no limit at all listed in the ad. You can always ask in the store.
Tiffany says
I called Kroger and asked them and she said that it would come off the item…I will fight it because it should NOT have a -1.00 under the product in the ad if that is not the price…I am not buying 4.00 worth of other stuff to get that price…thats silly…usually you buy the number of participating items to get that amount off your bill…not buy that number of items and some other items and then we give you 4.00 off…when you read the ad the dollar comes off that price of the PG item…
Kelly says
SING it sister!! I agree 100%!!
Kelly says
It’s almost like false advertising!
Rock says
Looks like price on the Pure Protein bar may vary by area? The price at my Kroger was $1.25. I’m not going to complain about a snack for a quarter, but just a heads up if you’re thinking freebie. This is the 23303 Michigan Ave store in Dearborn.
patti says
Is that the one with the sushi counter? I did the protein bars there last week and they were $1.00. They gave me a super hard time with the printables but the manager told the cashier to accept them.
Tiffany says
Ya, the 1.00 comes off the PG item in the ad…so I dont know how they can tell you your saving a dollar on that PG item if your not really…and you have to spend that 4.00 on something else…
Amy says
Hoping that someone out there will post if they end up trying to buy ONLY P&G items.
Tonya says
This works at the Owosso Kroger store. You do NOT have to buy other items. It comes off of the P&G ones.
Amy says
Thanks for the info 🙂
jen says
Is the Kashi Cereal still 2.99? It says through Aug 21st…but it’s still listed above…
Sara says
I’m sorry this is confusing but if I were to buy the 4 P&G items along with 2 dial soaps and 2 care free liners, would I get the “overage” from $4 off my total order or would they adjust the manf coupons down to the remainder of the item(s) total?
Seems like they are trying to pull the wool over our eyes on this one, I totally agree it’s not right to offer a “p&g discount” if it’s not offered on the actual items. They could have atleast offered a Catalina for $4 oyno
Nikeyia says
You can use the $4 dollars towards your purchase of meat, produce or any other items that we noramally do not have coupons for.
Tiffany says
Ok so it’s suppose to be buy 4 items then get 4 off those items….it is a misprint about the 4 off non pg items. But until the ad is changed they r giving an extra 4 dollars off other non pg items!!! So for those of u who want to put up a fight, I got 36 dollars worth of non pg extra stuff free this morning plus all my pg stuff free w coupons!!!
Kays says
$2.99 Herbal Essences or Aussie Shampoo or Conditioner, 5-16.9 oz
-$1.00 on each when you buy 4 participating P&G items
-$1.00/1 Herbal Essences/Aussie coupon (from 8-7 RP or 8-28 PG)
$0.99 after coupon (FREE if your store doubles to $1)
The Herbal Essensces /Aussie Shampoo/conditioner in the 8-28 is -1.00/2 and not 1. Just want to let others know before they go out and buy.
I did great this morning at Kroger. 180.00 worth of product for $16.29…. yeah!!! Had to do several orders, but it was worth it!!! Thanks Bargains to Bounty for all your help!!
Jolyn says
Thanks – I think I was able to make all the corrections. The database just isn’t reliable for the amounts on the P&G coupons for some reason. Sorry!
Tonya says
The August coupon is for $1 off of 1, the Sept coupon is $1 off of 2.
Jenny says
Mine was for $1/1 in the 8/7RP. Thanks!
Mariann says
Just called the Davison store and they are saying $4 off the P&G items and you can get as many as you want.
Jill says
Thanks Mariann!! This is so helpful to me because I always plan ahead for my trips and bring my two kids with me.
gail says
Love that I am going to Davison on Firday.
Brandi says
I just want to say I dislike when people on here talk about ‘fighting’ with the stores/cashiers. That is what makes them mean and scrutinize more. It’s sad when I at max get 2 or 3 of an item and the person ringing me up is irritated and I haven’t done anything. It’s the people that start freaking out and demanding free stuff and doing 4 transactions and bringing groups in with them.
end rant. lol
Kim M says
I agree well said.
Linda says
I’m even more confused now. If I only buy the p&g items, am I still saving the $4? Also, is there a limit to how many times I can save the $4 in one transaction? Can I buy 16 items and save $16?
Kays says
Yes you can at the Kroger’s in Genesee County. I did one transaction consisting of the Febreeze spray, Sure deodorant, toothpaste (two different kids of Crest toothpaste) and 20 items ….. got $20.00 off.
alice says
I wouldnt fight with the cashier over getting $4 off non-pg items. This is why stores are making it harder to coupon shop and why some cashiers trat couponers rudely. Be happy with the $4 ogg p&g products and dont take advantage of a misprint.
alice says
oops treat not trat. silly computer.
Alana says
It’s very true that some cashiers are rude to “couponers”. I realize it’s sometimes a hassle, esp. if coupons don’t scan, or don’t work, etc. I have wanted to tell some cashiers on more than one occasion, “Don’t you realize that by me shopping here (and using coupons) that I am helping pay your salary?” Of course, on the other hand, I have also witnessed some “couponers” get really nasty with cashiers, too…
jen says
I’m totally confused by all these posts. So if I buy 4 P & G items like 2 body washes for free & two deo’s for 49 cents I’m not going to get it at that price? I’m so lost. I’m going to Kroger today…or I was going to go…Are the posts right above or not?
Mark says
I called Kroger main office. They said that you should get the 4.00 off 4 items even if you only buy the p&g items. they said that they werent sure why they printed the off non p&g items. and 3 store mangers I talked to said the same thing..
Raeanne says
Thank you for calling!
Jolyn says
Thanks for sharing what you found!

I went to kroger today bought 4 gillette body washes. they were $2.99 but since i bought 4 it took an instant $1.00 off each. THen i used 4 $2.00 off coupons. Paid .39 Cents for all 4 body washes.
Kelly says
You are lucky!! As Grand Blanc Kroger will only allow three like coupons. But, hey! Three for free isn’t bad either! 🙂
Prue says
Both the Howell and Owosso store only take 3 like coupons which kinda throws me off and they have enforced it every time I go now. Makes for the shelves to have stock now vs cleared but still which is was a couple more. FYI both these stores double to $1 and are heavy coupon usage stores.
becky says
I just shopped 3 different Genesee county krogers and the $4 came off my p&g items. I didn’t have to purchase anything else! No limit, other than double coupon limits per transaction! I got 36 free items!
Kays says
Go Becky, Go… you sound like me… I got a lot of freebies also. 🙂
Tonya says
**Note on Gillette deal: Kroger’s coupon policy states that they will DOUBLE 3 coupons on like items (my store doubles up to $1). I had 6 coupons for the Gillette body wash. 3 were $2 off of 1 (from Aug insert) and 3 were $1 off of 1 (from Sept insert). The cashier tried to argue with me that I could only use three of them, and I told her I could only DOUBLE three of them. She called her manager and the manager sided with me. So I got all 6 and was able to use 6 coupons because 3 of them didn’t need to be doubled!!
Amy says
haha!! The spin to win helped with this deal also!!
Jonathan says
Would Wal-Mart price match the Gillette at $2?
carrie says
From what the store manager at my walmart has told me, they do price comps on the kroger card sale price but not the price with extra rewards. Same goes for the drug store deals, the comp is for the sale price not the price with register rewards, up rewards or any other rewards or rebates.
ELizabeth says
Thanks for the match ups! Am I the only one not finding the Minute Maid Q in the 8/7 RP?!
Shannon says
I found this coupon in the 7/24 RP, not the 8/7.
Raeanne says
The Michigan Grown Paula Red or Ginger Gold Apples is actually a 3lb bag, making them an even better deal!
Amy says
It worked on all the sale items. I used 2 2/1 Gillette and 1/1 and bought a Gillette shaving cream and it came up to .72 cents. As long as I bought 4 items it came off at the end.
Joanne says
I’m kind of new to this, but with the P&G sale going on, couldn’t I use the B1G1 coupon (8/28 P&G) for an Old Spice Bodywash to get a free Old Spice Deodorant, plus use the $1/2 Old Spice Products? Buy 2 bodywash at $1.99/each, get the $1 of each for the promotion, and use the B1G1 coupon to get a free deodorant also? Making the total .98 cents for 2 bodywashes and a deodorant?
Kati says
I don’t think you could do that because it would be like using 2 coupons on the same item which isn’t allowed. You could use the B1G1 coupon on the bodywash and deodorant, but then you would have to probably buy 2 more products with the $1/2 coupon. I would be very surprised if they allowed you to just buy the 2 items and use both coupons.
Jolyn says
I agree. One manufacturer coupon per item or as specified – and the B1G1 coupon is linked to the purchase of 2 items; additional coupons shouldn’t be used on those 2 items.
Kati says
Does anyone know if the Kroger’s will be restocking the p & g items during this week? I went to the Belsay Rd and Richfield Rd in Flint and Saginaw St in Grand Blanc and all were out of Febreze, Gillette, Secret, Old Spice.
Tiffany says
I was told they do it Mon Wen and Fri at the local Flint stores
Kati says
Perfect! Thanks Tiffany I’ll check them again =)
Nikki says
I stopped at Grand Blanc store today after work…they had quite a bit of the Secret, Old Spice and Gillette but completely out of the Febreze still.
Kati says
Darn it! The time I decide not to go of course they have the items I’m looking for! Ohh well, there’s always tomorrow =)
Jessica says
My Sure deodorant coupons did double at the Frankenmuth store, even though they say they won’t.
SHIRL says
which crest toothpaste coupons is it?
Nikki says
I used the $1. Pro Health, $1/1 any crest toothpaste and the $1 off of 2…..all ended up being FREE!
Kit says
While not part of the P&G sale, I found some Oral B Floss for $1.29 at the Grand Blanc store. Which ended up being free (plus some, the register did not adjust down the coupon price) after doubling $1 coupon.
There were also several options to use the $1 off any Nexcare product. I got some tape for $1.89 each. The register DID adjust the coupon for this one.
If you shop at this store, watch for a cashier named Irene. She is wonderful and very patient.
Also, I called the store and they said they get a truck every night. So there is hope to get more of the P&G stuff before the 8-31 coupons expire.
Nikki says
Thanks Kit! I missed the floss but will have to go back for that one! I did find the Scope mouthwash was on sale for 3.99 and it is part of the P&G sale so I bought 4 items getting the additional $1 off each item, combined with the $1. coupon that doubled, I ended up getting it for .99 each!
Kit says
Sure thing Nikki. There was a Scope for 2.99 which ended up free. You might watch for that if you have any coupons left. Also there was a possible deal with Dawn Plus using a $1 coupon, but they were out so I don’t have the details on my receipt to be able to share the specifics.
Nikki says
Shoot! I missed the 2.99 Scope, I was excited over .99 each but love it when it’s free even more! I will have to check it out when I go back. Thanks!!
Heidi says
Holy moly!, what a joke…. Make sure u have ALL your kroger coupons off your card before you shop!!! Apparently i had some coupons for p&g items that i was unaware of and had to put back 8 items because they wouldnt let me use the coupons because of an e coupon!! And i had a “free” coupon for fiber one bars from kroger and they wouldnt let me use it because of a .30 coupon on my card… Dang… It was soooooooooo frustrating… Why have a stinking card and ecoupons if it is going to cause so much grief????? Just venting…. Now i have to go back out before tomorrow to use the coupons that expire tomorrow!!!
Kati says
I’ve done this before! It’s so irritating!!
Kays says
FYI to all about the e-coupons… you can go back to the site and delete them off your card. And I agree… it’s irritating to have it on the card, but it doesn’t double. 🙁
LeAnn says
same thing happened to me. I was thinking that I could stack the ecoupons with the manufacturers coupons. Well I won’t do that again.
Kim says
Not in Howell can’t stack!
SHIRL says
how many p&g products allowed per transaction? if you buy 4 of 5 different products will you get the $1 off each or are they limiting it to 4/ transaction
Kit says
Best I can tell (from the Grand Blanc store) you must buy them in groups of 4 to get $4 off. I bought 5 groups of 4 in one transaction.
Kim says
First off the spin the win did not spin for me on my iPad, I checked it later from a friends computer and it said I played already today! Hm the wheel never spun! So I won’t be spinning it on my iPad anymore. Secondly I got the four p n g items and a few other foods it appears it came off the p n g products at our kroger in Howell.
Kim says
Howell kroger is out of gillette old spice secret febreeze herbal essence u name it their out!
Joanna says
Any idea when they will restock? I was gonna go there tomorrow but i’m gonna drive 30 min so don’t wanna waste gas if they are out of everything…
Kim says
Had some stock today, sat restock!
Kim says
WOW P & G Mass Confusion! Mind Boggeling! I tried using the garnier shampoo coups I had 3 and 3 garnier stylers they wouldn’t let me! Said it was 3 like coupons but they were for different items! Hm!
emily says
Many Kroger stores , especially those that double $1 coupons only allow 3 like coupons, this is to help w/ out of stock issues. I know it may be frustrating as a couponer but if you ever had to write rainchecks all day and night and not be able to get your work done you may appreciate limits.
kim kelly says
Howell kroger is out of everything! Was there this am wednesday!
Katie says
Was at Kroger yesterday and they have the big bottle of scope outlast on sale for 2.99 with card, its part of the P & G sale buy 4 get $4 off, bringing it to $1.99, use the coupon for $1.00 for scope (expires 8/31) and your final cost is .99
marlana says
Wondering how the Rainchecks work for the p & g items.. Do they give you the price with the $1.00 off as if u where buying the 4 items? Please help bc sounds like all the good items might be sold out. Thanks
Kati says
I’m pretty sure the raincheck would be for the price before the $4 off p & g sale. I don’t think they will write you a raincheck for the price after that’s taken off.
Matt says
In Owosso they do the after price as in $1.99 Gellette but in Flushing i got a rain check and they put $2.99 but its a $1.99 with 4 P and G
Matt says
but they put $1.99 with 4 P and G
Stephanie C. says
I am unable to sign up for the Pure protein bar:( Once I click submit it doesn’t do anything…no coupon and my information stays so I am unsure whether it accepts my entry or not.
Jolyn says
Thanks, I’ll remove it.
Laura says
I was able to sign up for the Pure Protein bar, the coupon was emailed to me. Did this at 11:30 on 8/31
Kristina says
Be very careful when attempting this p&g promotion…If your kroger is anything like mine (wixom) you will walk out steaming.
Before I started shopping I went to customer service and specifically asked 1. is there a limit on the # of $4 off you can get and the answer was no which was true. I then confirmed, the ad says the $4.00 comes off your non PG purchase, meaning the $1 would NOT be applied to the PG item you bought for the promotion.
So here is what I attempted.
4 Febreze Warmers that were $2.79 each.
I had a $3.00 coupon — They wouldn’t let me use it at all, wouldn’t adjust it down, nothing. So I said fine, take those off.
Then we get to the gillette body wash.
These were also $2.79 each. I had $2 coupons. They said I couldn’t use those either because techincally they were $1.79 if you count the $1.00 each I am getting for the p&g promotion and that made my coupon more then the item.
I am mortified and will be writing a letter to corporate and the store mgr.
They said they can’t adjust coupons down which I bet is not true to begin with, but then to reject my $2.00 coupon.
I canceled my entire sale (about $70) and left.
Matt says
Wow Kristina i would have done the same thing. Come to Owosso on friday and if you do it right you can get $162 in stuff for $10 or less
Kim says
Come to Howell I did 5 transactions used all my coups saved 111.00 paid 26.00, you just have to watch your coupons limit of alike! Double the dollar! Bring a cooler if getting cold items!
Amy says
I went to the Kroger on Bristol Rd and got just the items for the P&G promo and it took the 4 dollars off each item. So I ended up getting 80 dollars worth of P&G stuff for only 2 bucks. It would have only been $1, but I had a dang e-coupon that didn’t double. Good luck finding a lot of the stuff though. I went to 4 different Kroger’s before finding all the stuff. The shelves were wiped out. I still didn’t get the Gillette. They did give me a rain check for it and put it at 1.99 on 4. If anyone finds the mother load of Gillette please let me know!
Kim says
Howells out again!
Kimmy says
The coupon for Tropicana is found in the September All You Magazine. It is $1 off any one……so you may want to pick some up if your in Walmart. They are $2.49 and include many coupons=)
Tammy says
Matt- I just came from Owosso and the Raincheck I got for the Gillette Proglide Fusion, I got for the sale price, not with the additional $1.00 P & G off.
Matt says
Maybe they changed it, I did it on Monday and they put !.99 on all the rain checks. The ones i picked were all in the add.
Kimmy says
That is strange Tammy, they always write them up for the price After the additional amount for buying 4 or 10 (whatever the deal happens to be)!! I hope this isn’t a new policy.
tabitha says
I have a question about Kroger coupon policy. If I have a coupon for an item and it does not need to double, how many identical coupons are we allowed to use at the same time? For instance if I had 10 coupons for cereal and they were all $1.00 off, could I buy 10 boxes of cereal with my coupons?
Kit says
Hi tabitha,
When I asked about this, at the Grand Blanc store, I was told the official policy is 3 like coupons. Regardless of if the double. However! I was also told that if you do not need the coupon to double, it is up to the cashier/staff, if they will take them. They said as long as you keep it reasonable, most likely (gotta love the vagueness) it would be alright. 10 might be pushing the reasonable bit. I was able to use 6, non-doubling, like coupons in a single transaction. I’ve also been told to do coupon shopping at that particular store before 8pm as they have more staff on hand. When in doubt, as the cashier before they start ringing?
kurstin says
Thought in Howell you could only do one transaction?
shirl says
Does anyone know where to find gatorade coupons?
Marianne says
I get mine on Ebay although q’s for the 32 ounce size I have not seen in awhile, most are for the 8 packs or Prime/Recover.
Takeisha says
Hello I am in Toledo, Ohio and done the p&g and it instantly took the 1.oo off the product. But what I didnt like was the way the store had the sale tags as if it was on sale and then 1.00 off and then cheaper if it had a coupon. My 9 yr old son even brought it up to the cashier…But overall liked the sale!!
