KROGER COUPON POLICY
You can now view the Kroger coupon policy for Michigan online.
Please that Kroger’s coupon policy clearly states in each store ad: Limit 3 Manufacturer’s Coupons will be Doubled (up to $0.50) per Like Items Purchased.
NOTE on Printable Coupons: Some Kroger stores have been denying the redemption of any printable coupon over $1, so proceed with caution when using printable coupons. You can view/print the Kroger Print-at-Home Coupon Acceptance Policy here, which does not specifically restrict the use of printables over $1.
You WILL need a Kroger card to take advantage of these offers; sign up for one at the Customer Service desk if you do not have one!
KROGER SHOPPING TIPS
SELECT Kroger stores outside of Macomb (some stores in Saginaw and Genessee counties along with the Howell location – view a full list here or a map of stores here) will double manufacturer’s coupons up to $1.00! This can mean a great savings (and some potential free items each week). If your travels happen to take you north, check the Kroger ad (search by zip code) for the areas you’re passing through. You just might want to pack your coupons, too!
Take your own bags to Kroger and you’ll receive a credit for $0.05 per bag used on your shopping order. You may need to remind your cashier to deduct your credit, however, as the computer will not do it automatically!
Load digital coupons to your Kroger card before you shop: visit Cellfire, P&G eSaver, Shortcuts and Kroger Digital Coupons. Each website lists the e-coupons that can be loaded onto your Kroger Card so that you can save even more! E-coupons are limited to one use per card and will NOT double. Kroger digital coupons may NOT be combined with actual paper manufacturer coupons.

I appreciate getting the info that you send regarding sales that are not advertised

I have one of the $6/2 Motrin PM. Would Kroger adjust it down to $5.98 if I buy 2 or will they not take it? I’ve never had a coupon for over the value there so I wasn’t sure. Thank you!
Robin S says
Bought 2 today and the cashier adjusted it down.
KELLY says
Thank you! I’m going to give it a try tomorrow.
Lori says
For the Annie’s Natural Dressing, I purchased 4 and received 2 $1.50 catalinas. But even better…there was a tearpad for a $1.00 off each one-more than free!
Amy says
which Kroger?
kathy says
Saved a bunch of $’s thanks to all your match ups! If you printed the 4/$4 chex mix, bugles etc., they’re on sale for $1.50/each or .50/each after coupon….did beep, but they manually entered it….I think it’s because of the high value of the coupon
Robin S says
Be careful if u try to get the free caned dog food. The cashier has to manually type in .99 off for each b1g1 coupon, and my cashier only gave me .49 off per coupon, because she said she was counting the price after the mega event. So i had to stand there and look like a jerk for holding up the line so i could explain. At least i got my way in the end, but probably because she didn’t want me holding up the line any longer.
Nancy says
I am new at this. I don’t understand how the dog food is free. The way I see it it should be $ .49. Please explaine.
alice says
I bought the dog food today and cashier also only took .49 off i understand why. How do you figure she should have taken .99 off when the coupon says b1g1? Please explain to me.
Esther a homeschool momma in Mid-Michigan says
“FREE” Purina One Beyond 16 oz. box cat food alert!!!
Free up to $3.00 coupon in the 3/13/2011 SS
Kroger has them marked @ $2.99, so this makes them FREE ๐
You might want to check out Meijer too. I got these @ Meijer for free about a couple of months ago when this cat food first came out.
Nancy says
Thanks for the heads up I have 3q’s. Will donate it since I don’t have a cat.
Betty says
I would love these if you want to donate them to me! email me if you would i can send you a SASE if you’d like bettysbuttons@hotmail(dot)com
Nancy says
Sorry I went to my Krogers today they did not have the 16 oz. box. They had only the 3 lb. box. If you would like the coupon, that is fine but how do I get it to you?
Laura says
Is the Ronzoni pasta really part of the Mega savings event? I was at the Howell Kroger last week and the manager told me it wasn’t part of that event, it was just on sale.
Denise says
I bought 8 boxes last week at the Howell Kroger as part of Mega event.Getting more this week.
Laura says
Thanks Denise, I will be trying it this week then ๐
Angela says
Wanted to also add that the Howell Kroger will ot allow you to use digital (the ones downloaded to your kroger plus card) coupons and paper cupons in the same transaction. i.e. you have to seperate your orders for the items you want to use the digital coupon from the items you want to use the paper coupons on. I just started using coupons and called this store to ask. This is what the young lady told me. If anyone shops at Kroger and knows this to be false, please let me know. I’m very excited to get started and my goal is to be able to donate to the churches, food banks, shelters, and animal shelters. If anyone is a veteran coupon users, advice is most welcome!!!!!! Thanks.
Bekah says
The Kroger in Grand Blanc gave me a very hard time using a digital and paper. They said they are really cracking down. I didn’t have any problem 2 weeks ago so I don’t know if it was just that person or if It’s new. Guess I’ll be more careful loading them.
Love this site. Many thanks!
A says
I spoke to someone who works at Kroger and she told me they are cracking down on using digital and paper coupons together. They will only be allowing the use of one or the other, that people are using both and that will not be allowed in the future.
Nancy says
I just LOVE this site. The way you organize it is much better than other sites I have visited. I find oher sites confusing and there are times I go to the store (CVS) and find that an item is not on sale when a particular site said it was on sale. Example: Dove Deorident for men with my coupon and sail price I expected to get it free but it was not on sale.
I am wondering why you don’t match prices for Super Kmart and Wallmart. I imagine it takes an awful lot of time to match prices for the stores you do match.
Thanks for all you do. Keep up the great job.
Jolyn says
I don’t have a SuperKmart nearby, and generally their prices aren’t low enough to create great deals.
Walmart is a coupon matchup artist’s worst nightmare. No weekly ad means no consistent pricing across locations. I could invest hours to walk every aisle of the store, find deals, match up and report them, and most people would HATE me for it. You would go to your store and find the prices to be different and you would return home very frustrated. I’m just trying to save you the trouble. ๐
Amy says
I am SO glad that you do not post match-ups for Walmart! The Walton’s are really awful people who keep all of their billions. That is except for the investing they do against providing benefits for the middle class. Please read up on the Walton family everyone! Sorry to get political, but we are the people choosing where to spend our money. I learned all this while defending Walmart. Boy did I learn a lot!!!

Thanks for the Wonka chocolate info, bought some today! Well maybe I should not say thanks, cuz I ate some also!!!
I dont shop Kroger often, and this helped me. Thanks for posting deals!
Julie says
Where do they keep that candy? On shelves or buy the regestures.
Nancy says
I live in Roseville. At my Krogers the W. candy is in the candy isle on the shelf.
Julie says
Ok so does this mean that all krogers won’t double up to $1.00 any more. I was reading the updates on the first page and said no but on the page with all the sales it said if you store doubles to $1.00 it free. Please help
Jolyn says
Specific locations will still double to $1 as an exception to this rule, as stated in the ad for each store.
Tracy says
My Kroger gave me a hard time w/ the $6/2 Motrin qpon yesterday since 2 Motrin PM’s are $5.98 not $6. Manager told me they will take it this time but “if I try this again they won’t accept my qpon”. I am becoming more & more anti-Kroger after each visit ๐
julie says
I watch these shows on tv about couponing .where do these people live? Anybody know. I would love to save that much. The most I have so far was $158 on one trip.
Jolyn says
The shows are made for TV – and you can’t get the same deals. Their stores waive limits on products and the amount of coupons that will double so that they can get huge orders for practically nothing. It’s not realistic at all – it’s fabricated. And it’s making a bad name for couponers everywhere.
Julie says
Thats what i kind of thought but it would be nice. Still i’m saving more than I ever had. ๐
Nancy says
Went to my Krogers today. To get $1.47 back because that is what they charged me for the dog food. They refused to give me $1.47. Please explaine why it was suppose to be fee. I had a buy one get one free q.
Diana says
Brighton Kroger: Danactive is not on sale for $1.99 for an 8 pack – they are $4.99. The Skittles weren’t .50 they were .79. The Exceptional Wonka bars had three spots on the shelf ALL 3 marked $1.14 but they rang up at the regular price of $2.19 – service desk said the “scrumdiddlyumptious” sp ? ones were the ones for $1.14 but gave me the price adjustment.
veronica says
Does anyone know if the water oyno rolls? It comes out to like $1.75 a 24 pk which is about half price so I’d like to do this deal a couple times!!
Kimmy says
Here at the Owosso Kroger I found the New York Syle Bagel Crisps on sale for 2 for $5 in the Deli dept. I had coupons for $1 off and since our Kroger double I was able to get them for .50cents. You may want to check it out if your in there. Thanks so much for doing this…it helps my family so much. God Bless.
Sheila says
This is ALL new to me. Is there a site or do you offer classes to show me how this all works? With 4 kids, I’d love to save as much money as possible and found couponing (on my own) very frustrating. How are you gals making it work?
