* Macomb area Kroger stores currently double coupons up to $0.50. However, only 3 manufacturer’s coupons will be doubled per like items purchased.
View this week’s complete Kroger Ad.
KROGER COUPON POLICY
You can now view the Kroger coupon policy for Michigan online.
Please that Kroger’s coupon policy clearly states in each store ad: Limit 3 Manufacturer’s Coupons will be Doubled (up to $0.50) per Like Items Purchased.
NOTE on Printable Coupons: Some Kroger stores have been denying the redemption of any printable coupon over $1, so proceed with caution when using printable coupons. You can view/print the Kroger Print-at-Home Coupon Acceptance Policy here, which does not specifically restrict the use of printables over $1.
You WILL need a Kroger card to take advantage of these offers; sign up for one at the Customer Service desk if you do not have one!
KROGER SHOPPING TIPS
SELECT Kroger stores outside of Macomb (some stores in Saginaw and Genessee counties along with the Howell location – view a full list here) will double manufacturer’s coupons up to $1.00! This can mean a great savings (and some potential free items each week). If your travels happen to take you north, check the Kroger ad (search by zip code) for the areas you’re passing through. You just might want to pack your coupons, too!
Take your own bags to Kroger and you’ll receive a credit for $0.05 per bag used on your shopping order. You may need to remind your cashier to deduct your credit, however, as the computer will not do it automatically!
Load digital coupons to your Kroger card before you shop: visit Cellfire, P&G eSaver, Shortcuts and Kroger Digital Coupons. Each website lists the e-coupons that can be loaded onto your Kroger Card so that you can save even more! E-coupons are limited to one use per card and will NOT double. Kroger digital coupons may NOT be combined with actual paper manufacturer coupons.
This post is a proud part of Be Centsable’s Grocery Gathering. Visit the Grocery Gathering for a HUGE free listing of national and local store matchups from around the country, including CVS, Rite Aid, Walgreens, Target, Walmart and more!

Yay, I contributed something finally! LOL! It’s a good day for me!
Janet says
$1.99 Kraft Singles is not part of the buy 10 deals
Jolyn says
It’s shown in the ad as part of the mega event. Is the 2% not included in the sale?
kathy says
I picked up the 2% Kraft last night for .49 – It IS included in sale
Kris says
I don’t see it in my ad, but I haven’t been to the store yet. I live in Genesee county, maybe there is a different ad here.
Jolyn says
It’s possible but unlikely. I confirmed it at my store today. In one spot, it was signed for the mega event and in another it wasn’t.
Kim says
I just got the 2% Kraft…it IS in the sale~!
Kris says
It is shown on the website in the section labeled “additional in-store sales”
Jessica Shampine says
I live in Genessee and I got it as part of the sale…
Bethany says
If you printed the $1 Kettle Brand coupon previously you can use that to make them .49.
Chris says
Does anyone know where the Yakisoba noodles are located at the Howell location? I have never purchased this product and have looked in the obvious locations but cannot find them.
Chris says
I think they’re usually with the soups?
Tiffany says
When I went to the Dearborn location, it was with the Ramen Noodles.
Lucy A says
At my Kroger they are on the bottom shelf near all the Mac N Cheese products.
Chris says
Just got back from Howell and they were down the soup aisle by the ramon noodles. Thanks for the help ladies!

Chris says

Jolyn says
Thank you!
Janet says
it said $1.00/2 (5 oz or larger)
Jamie says
Bummer, I just bought 20-$1 coupons for Kettle Brand chips thinking it was on the regular, now it appears it must be for the baked. ARggh!
Julie says
Better Oats
Oatmeal was $1.79 at my store but I still bought it
Yvonne Macko says
Is it just me or should kraft shredded cheese and chucks not part of the deal?? I bought miracle whip, my store did not have it marked but rang up as a item in the sale??
Corinne says
I’ve never shopped a Kroger Mega Event. Is there a limit on how many groups of 10 you can purchase per transaction?
Jenna says
no limit unless stated on your flyer. Just did 3 today 😉
Corinne says
Thank you! I have an appointment in Flint tomorrow, so I’m hoping to hit the Kroger in Burton afterward ($1 doubles!). I looked at their ad online, but it won’t enlarge the fine print.
Janet says
but each coupon only double 2x, so it affect the final price.
Kris says
No, they double 3 like coupons at that store.
Corinne says
Thanks everyone. They doubled 3 like coupons. I spent $28 and saved $70!
kay says
does anyone know if the kraft homestyle mac & cheese is included in the velveeta/deluxe for 1.29? thanks

Nope.

Debbie says
The kroger in Grand Blanc doubles up to a $1.00. It’s also a very nice store and layout.
Sarah says
Kroger in downtown grand blanc doubles up to 1$:)
Angie says
If you bought Peperidge Farm Goldfish as part of the meijers 10/$10 2 weeks ago there was a 0.35 cent off coupon in the bag. You can use it on the goldfish in your ten items at Kroger this week and doubled your goldfish will be 29 cents 🙂
Rhonda says
I found those too last week and used them this am- they it says right on the coupon- do not double. Kroger wouldn’t double them for me. But it still made for inexpensive goldfish! 😉
Angie says
Als0 your $1.00 off one Carefree product coupon (paper 1-9) can be used on the pantyliners (reg priced $1.10) for 10 cent pantyliners.
Rhonda says
Howell Kroger was out of the 2% kraft singles. I bought regular Kraft singels and tried to use the 2% coupon just to see what would happen and it worked! Looks like it’s coded for all of the Kraft singles- hurray!
Julie says
That is coupon fraud
lisa says
So, for Kroger’s Mega 10, for every 10 items you buy you get $5.00 off?

Dana says
Also, if you have a Kroger that doubles to $1 the 12 ct Quantum (I think thats what they are called) are also on the sale so 3.69-.50-2.00 ($1 doubled) = $1.19
Dawn Reeves says
I haven’t shopped at Kroger in some time. Last time I did they wouldn’t accept my IP coupons. Does anyone else have trouble getting their’s accepted??? They said they will not take them if they are 75% or more of the price, so a lot of your deals I don’t bother with as they won’t even take them. Is this a standard for Kroger? or is it up to the manager??
Kris says
I haven’t had any problems, but they won’t take any IP’s that say FREE.
Jessica Shampine says
I would print a coupon policy and take it in with you…
allie says
I bought the M&Ms today. There was a large sign that said spend $10 get a cat for $3 or spend 15 get a 5 dollar cat. I bought 6 along with some tomatoes. I got the 5 bucks off, used 3 1.50 off 2 coupons from the 1/23 paper, and got the 5 dollar cat. I spent $.71 a bag!
emily king says
has anyone bought the kleenex and got a cat.
i think 5 boxes=$1, 6=1.50 and 7 or more =$2. Just wanted to see if its
working at Krogers in Michigan.
Kim B says
Yes it does work. I purchased them tonight and got $2.
amy says
mine didn’t work today. The green machine light blinked but nothing came out. Guess I’ll have to call CM
Jolyn says
If the light is blinking, there’s an error on the machine. I’d call.
Michelle Jiskra says
I was just making my list and noticed that for the Silk Pure Almond Milk coupon, the fine print does state “do not double”. At the Howell store, some cashiers are sticklers and will read all the fine print, so if your store doubles to $1, please note that this coupon may not be doubled!
mom says
So “doubles” means I need two coupons per 1 item and I get up to .50 cent off?
Casey says
No, “doubles” refers to the stores policy to double the value of your coupon. Some stores “double” coupons. Some stores do not. Most Kroger locations will double your coupon up to 50c. For example: You buy a gallon of ice cream which costs $5 and you have a 50c coupon for that brand/variety of ice cream, when you give the 50c coupon to the cashier and they scan it, the cash register/computer will AUTOMATICALLY deduct not 50 cents, but $1! And you only used one coupon! And you will pay $4 for that gallon of ice cream.
Casey says
Just to clarify… as far as I know ALL kroger locations double coupons, most of them up to 50c, but there are a select few which will actually double coupons up to $1 in face value (which would automatically deduct $2). Also, Kroger will only double up to 3 “like” coupons. This means, if you buy 3 gallons of ice cream, each $5 and have 3 coupons each 50c, when you give the cashier your coupons, the computer will deduct $3. HOWEVER if you buy 4 gallons of ice cream, each $5 and you give the cashier 4 coupons each 50c, the computer will not deduct $4, but rather deduct $3.50 because that 4th coupon is identical to the others and therefore it will not double. Hope this helps!
Whitney says
I just wanted to point out that the limit of 3 like coupons doubling is not at every Kroger. In central Ohio our Krogers double up to .99 and there is no limit on the number of coupons doubled. If I use 10 like coupons they all double. It’s best to check with your local store to verify their policy.
mom says
Also, when I have a coupon that says buy (3) then I get that amount off of the total of 3, not of price per item, right? These might be silly questions, but I’m new to “couponing.”
Casey says
Yes, you are correct. If you have a coupon that says save $1 when you buy 3 (boxes of kleenex or whatever) you must buy 3 boxes and you will save $1 total, NOT $1 off each box. Welcome to couponing! Confusing at first but TOTALLLY worth it! Keep asking questions, people on this blog are very helpful.
Matt says
FYI the Lake Orion Kroger doesn’t have the Honest Tea labeled for the Mega Event and couldn’t get confirmation if it was included from customer service. Wasn’t willing to risk it myself. Not sure if anyone else can confirm a purchase of it there.
Dana says
I bought the Honest Tea (well I think it might be Honest Ade as its a Fruit Punch) and it was on the sale!! It was $1.25 -.50 – 1.00 (.50 coupon doubled) so a .25 money maker!
Dana says
Kellogg’s Raisin Bran is on the Mega Sale it is $2.99 and there was a .70/1 coupon on the Kellogg’s website so – $2.99 -.50 – $1.40 (.70 doubled for me) = $1.09 for a 20 oz box of cereal!

I got a new cat at Kroger for Coffee-Mate liquid creamer. Buy 2 get $1, 3 get $2, 4 or more get $3 good until 2/20. Does this mean the cat will print at all stores like Meijer or just at Kroger?

I got he same one and it is just at Kroger

Well,I tired shopping at the Howell Kroger today, and they were OUT of every single thing I wanted/had a coupon for….oh well, maybe later in the week will be better.

I had the same problem earlier in the week at the Howell store; I will try again Sunday or maybe next week (lately Kroger Ads have pretty much been running at 2 week intervals, plus the Mega Event is a Superbowl one, and the Superbowl isn’t for another week yet).
However, this has happened at the Howell store quite often (for me, at least). I’ve been there the first day of the sale, in the morning, and somehow they’re out of almost everything on my list. It’s frustrating, but I’ve learned to live with it.

Thank you for the tips! Reading this blog has been super helpful! I’m sure when I get a bit deeper into this that I will have lots more questions!

KROGER MEGA EVENTS
My Kroger (Howell) has lists of included items at the front of the store next to the circular whenever there’s a Mega event. I usually try to stop by & p/u a list before planning my trip later in the week. Then I check here for some prices.
If you are unsure if an item is a “participating” item, scan it at a self-scan & all participating items will have this symbol “[+]”.
I will often save coupons for items that I don’t even like if they will get me one item closer to the 10 item goal. This week my best deal is 1 Honest Tea $1/1 & 3 $1/1 Krusteaz cookies – These will be free & I’m already 4 items in towards my $5 off. (yes, I donate the excess in case you’re wondering) Then I will get 3 Kraft singles & 3 mustards free w/coupons to reach 10 items. They will pay me $5 for all of it. Then I will attempt to make another list of 10 & so on.
When I am unable to buy the required # of items because a mega item is out of stock, I ask for a raincheck & explain that I’m unable to purchase 10 items because they’re out of it. I bring back the raincheck and receipt within 30-days & purchase the previously out of stock items at the service desk to get my $5.
I hope some of you find this helpful 🙂

THANKS, Mary B! That list is very helpful. I was wondering if the California Pizza Kitchen was on the Mega, and it is! Thanks for sharing.

At the Pharmacy, there is a pamphlet (at the top it says: Get more from your pharmacy) with coupons. There’s a coupon for -$.35 on softsoap. Doubled, got 2 of them for $.18/each.
