RANDYK says
GEE, I hope Meijers didn’t spend a lot of advertising dollars on this 4-day sale!!!
Because this sale is such a barn burner, That I am going to the store right now to wait in line for the start of the sale – “NOT”
Jolyn says
Not all sales are great. We’ll see some lower prices soon with Easter approaching – and I like the McCormick savings.
RANDYK says
JOLYN:
I know all sales aren’t, but I think if you are a retailer you would want to make any and all separate sale papers / ads worthwhile because of the expenditures ( my opinion ).
ON A NEW ITEM — Did coupons.com change their coupon policy with electronic searching signatures?
MEANING — I have three different computers hooked up to the same internet provider (Comcast) here at my desk, on Sunday I printed two of the Huggie’s diaper coupons on my first computer and next I went to my 2nd computer and says print limit reached and same on the 3rd computer. Today I tried an experiment, I printed a non-use coupon for me on computer #1 only once and the same on computer #2 and then I checked computer #3 and the result was print limit reached!!!.
HAVE YOU OR ANYONE ELSE RUN ACROSS THIS ISSUE?
IF YES – THEN IT LOOKS LIKE ONLY TWO LIKE PRINTABLE COUPONS PER HOUSEHOLD NO MATTER HOW MANY COMPUTERS ONE HAS.
Jolyn says
I haven’t heard anything about electronic searching signatures – though I did get a notice that they’re rolling out the mobile verification, which I know many people dislike:
“Beginning March 15, 2017, your users who are printing via the coupon printer software will be asked to upgrade to phone number authentication. This message will appear in the form of a pop-up screen when the user tries to print a coupon.”
I wonder if the phone number verification is limiting you to two prints per household?
Esther a homeschool mom in Mid-Michigan says
I keep side stepping that issue by clicking the I’ll upgrade later button, then I’m able to print 2 per computer. I never have put in my mobile or landline # so far.
Teresa says
I randomly get the mobile verification to print coupons. Bummer for those who don’t have a mobile phone to receive the text to.
Melissa M says
I keep getting the “upgrade later”, (& keep clicking it) but otherwise am still able to get 2 prints per computer. & with my sister currently living with us, we have 3 computers = 6 coupons total. I hope they don’t make it worse for us couponers… 🙁
syl says
Yes, the phone number is the reason. I used my cell # on 1 laptop and was going to use the landline on the other, but it was going to make me wait to be contacted by someone at coupons.com tech support. I need like 4 coupons to use that day so I just put in the same cell number in on the second laptop and it came up print limit reached. BUT, I do have an older laptop that did not make me put in a number, so I can still get 4 coupons. My guess is I think they are trying to keep people from printing multiples from the same household. Just my opinion.
Steph says
Yes I ran into the same problem. It looks like now you can only print 2 coupons per mobile device you have and it has to be one of the major carriers, ie. no prepaid phone etc. It sucks because I have 3 computers to print from, but no longer can.
Lisa says
I am having the same issue 🙁
n says
I am a senior so forgive me is this sounds wrong. I think if you create an account on hot mail or gmail using comcast, have 2-3 computers and 2-3 printers you could get 2 coupons per computer & printer. I use to do this before my laptop died and I am unable to test this out on 2 computers now. Hope this makes since.
Paul says
Randy,
I noticed the same thing last weekend with the avocado coupon. Thought it was just a fluke. Sorry that it’s not.
Diane says
Yes! I stocked up on the McCormick grinders. I didn’t realize there were so many flavors of grinders! They’ll come in handy for summer grilling.
Like you said, some sales are better than others.
On another note, I, like others, have not upgraded my coupon printer by clicking “upgrade later”. After reading the comments, I’ll continue to do so until I’m forced! ????
Ariane says
Just FYI – Today, I didn’t have an option to “upgrade later”.
Kaylajoy Yaek says
Their sales really are not sales, I used to spend thousands there now Kroger has my moneys.
Jim says
yea!!! You could get a bargin sometimes. But know they make it so hard.

The best deals that I find at Meijer nowadays is on paper / laundry / cleaning items, and that’s usually when there’s a sale price + catalina coupon or instant savings offered + paper coupons or mperks for the purchased items. Doesn’t happen all the time (and it takes a little bit of fancy math on my part), but those are my favorite deals. I especially like when they have the hand soap refills for B1G1 50% off, works out to be around 0.35 per regular size bottle of liquid hand soap! Sadly, it’s not too often that I find such great deals on food items at Meijer anymore. Thank goodness for Aldi!
And thank you, Jolyn, for all of your hard work. It really is appreciated, probably more than you’ll ever know!
