This weekend only, young hunters can pick up a free junior deer hunting license at all Meijer stores in Michigan, thanks to a partnership between Meijer and the Michigan DNR.
The coupon is valid for a single junior deer hunting license ($20 value) or mentored youth hunting license. Children ages 16 and under must be accompanied by an adult to get this offer. Redeem your Free Junior Hunting License coupon at the Meijer sporting goods counter on Friday, September 9 or Saturday, September 10, 2016.
(Note: The mPerks coupon is not available online – but if you saw it earlier this week and clipped it, you’ll still have it in your account). If you aren’t able to print a coupon, you should be able to find a free coupon in the area of the store that sells hunting licenses.
Those who hunt in Michigan also must purchase a base license ($6 for ages 10-16), which allows them to hunt small game and buy additional hunting licenses, if needed. The mentored youth hunting license (for hunters under age 10) includes a base license.
