Just Between Friends is a nationwide big consignment event held twice a year where you can find anything and everything you need to raise a child – from maternity to teens. Think of it as a really organized, very clean community garage sale. Local families sign up as consignors. They prepare items, price and tag them with an online bar code system and drop them off at the sale – and Just Between Friends handles the rest of the work. Families come to shop and can save 50 to 90 percent off retail prices! The event helps families throughout Metro Detroit save money and earn money.
I had the chance to shop last year and I found so many great items for my kids. Many of them have become favorites in their wardrobes since then, worn over and over again! I’d encourage you to find some time to shop the sale this spring:

For SHOPPERS:
- JBF sales include a range of clothing and products that will suit families from expectant moms all the way through teens.
- Everything is organized by category, gender and size, making it much quicker and easier to find exactly what you are looking for.
- Volunteers inspect each of the items before they go on the sales floor; ensuring there are no stains, holes or missing pieces. A recall specialist on the floor inspects items to make sure they have not been recalled.
- Each sale is franchised and locally owned, so the money you spend is returning to your community.
- All major credit cards and debit cards are accepted – no need to stop at the bank for small bills!
Tuesday, March 10: PreSale ONLY

- Easily enter items into a free online tagging system at myjbftags.com.
- Drop items off during designated drop off and earn 60% on all sold items (or 70% if you volunteer for at least 4 hours).
- Your items are displayed for the duration of the sale to all shoppers, giving you a great chance of selling.
- Donate unsold items to our charity partner (The Haven) or pick up at the end of the sale.

I’ve been to one and its was great!! I put my clothes on the right size area rack and I went home to relaxe and watched my money come in!! It’s all computerized so I don’t have to stay and watch my sales! I was paid in a check two weeks after it was done!! Doing it again!!
