KROGER COUPON POLICY and SHOPPING TIPS

You can now view the Kroger coupon policy for Michigan online.
Please that Kroger’s coupon policy clearly states in each store ad: Limit 3 Manufacturer’s Coupons will be Doubled (up to $0.50) per Like Items Purchased.

You WILL need a Kroger card to take advantage of these offers; sign up for one at the Customer Service desk if you do not have one!

NOTE on Printable Coupons: Some Kroger stores have been denying the redemption of any printable coupon over $1, so proceed with caution when using printable coupons. You can view/print the Kroger Print-at-Home Coupon Acceptance Policy here, which does not specifically restrict the use of printables over $1.

SELECT Kroger stores outside of metro Detroit (some stores in Saginaw and Genessee counties along with the Howell location – view a full list here) will double manufacturer’s coupons with face value of up to $1.00! This can mean a great savings (and some potential free items each week). If your travels happen to take you north, check the Kroger ad (search by zip code) for the areas you’re passing through. You just might want to pack your coupons, too!

Load digital coupons to your Kroger card before you shop: visit Cellfire, P&G eSaver, Shortcuts and Kroger Digital Coupons. Each website lists the e-coupons that can be loaded onto your Kroger Card so that you can save even more! E-coupons are limited to one use per card and will NOT double. Kroger digital coupons may NOT be combined with actual paper manufacturer coupons.

Has anyone heard anything about Krogers not doubling coupons anymore ? I live near the Krogers in Howell

    • 7

yeah, they are going to stop doubling the $1 coupons some time in january. no exact date yet. i think it will impact their business so badly that they will consider bringing it back. sad : (

  3. 8

it is just a rumor, it has not been confirmed.

  4. 10

THe Scott toilet paper is $6.49 and the $1.00 coupon makes it $4.49 if your store doubles $1. Its the extra soft 16 double rolls.

  5. 12

I was informed yesterday that Kroger will no longer take more than 3 like coupons (even higher value coupons that they don’t double). When asked for a copy of this policy I was given one with a hand written note stating that they wouldn’t take more than 3 like coupons. Anybody know anything about this? Seems awfully fishy to me & I wonder if a call to the main office is needed? Opinions?

The store in Grand Blanc has had a policy like that in places for a while now. They posted signs by the front door on the basket with the ads as well as at every register. It has on it, “We have the right to limit quantities.”

      • 14

I think that has always been their policy. 3 like coupons regardless of if they are doublers or not

        • 15

In Genesee county, that has been the policy for a long time.

Actually, I have found that it is hit or miss in the Flint area. Some stores/cashiers will take more than three coupons and will either double the three and the additional ones and some will only double the first three and won’t double the additional ones. I have never really had a problem getting the items that I wanted, but it does take a little time and determination, especially with so many Kroger stores within a reasonable distance of each other.

With the All laundry detergent, for stores that double to $1, $1.50 for a bottle is a good price, yes? The bottles of Small and Mighty at my store were also bonus bottles, so 40 loads instead of 32. It’s been quite a while since I had to buy laundry detergent, but my supply is finally getting low and I was going to pick some up. Unfortunately, I’m not really sure what a stock up price is on that. I depend a lot on the green font :)

    • 18

Rachel, I think $1.50 is a good stock up price!! I haven’t seen it below that price in a long time. I am going to try and stock up at that price because my supply is getting low too!!!

    • 19

I’m with Kimmy on that — $1.50 for 40 loads of laundry sounds like a deal to me!

    • 20

That’s a good stock up price. I even ordered extra coupons on ebay. I don’t buy detergent for more than that price.

      • 21

According to the Sunday coupon preview we are suppose to have more All coupons in this weeks paper!!

  7. 22

Morton’s Sea Salt is on sale for $1.89 through Jan 13. There is a 75 cent off coupon at Woundedwarriorproject.org making the salt only 39 cents for $1 double store.

There are coupons inside select boxes of Banquet Entrees. There are many and they don’t expire till May of 2014. One coupon is for 75 cents off any 8 banquet entrees. One is for 35 cents off any 1 can of Hunts pasta sauce sooooo if you purchase one box cut out the coupon for the eight entrees, go back and buy 8 more ($6.50 for $1 double stores)…..then use all the Hunts coupons to snag Hunts pasta sauce for 30 cents since they are $1 regular price!!
