About Lilla Rose

Lilla Rose is a consultant-based direct sales company best known for the patented Flexi-Clip, which is made with music wire and is looped at one end. The beads and the pin are then added and it is securely fastened. The pin is cast in zinc and is extremely strong. The centerpieces are hand-created and cast in brass, which makes them extremely strong as well. The end product is a piece of hair “jewelry” that is super strong, yet exquisite in looks and style. Flexi-Clips come in 7 different sizes to meet all hair (from baby fine to super-thick and coarse) and style needs. Lilla Rose also makes other stylish hair accessories such as headbands, hair sticks, bobby pins and You-pins. Visit Tracy’s Lilla Rose website to see the full line of products.

Tracy became a Lilla Rose independent consultant after receiving her first Flexi-Clip from an online order. She immediately fell in love with it. After finding no active consultants locally, she looked into the business opportunity and was stunned at how inexpensive it was to sign up. So she did – and has enjoyed every moment since.

Have you tried the Organics line of shampoo and conditioner? I’m not endorsing any brand at all but my daughter is a diver and we struggle with her hair all season long. This stuff works great for her.

On the bright side, with the Flexi-Clip (the product I WILL endorse on here. :P), you don’t have to worry about it breaking and damaging your hair like ponytail holders do. It is super gentle on the hair and you don’t get ponytail headache like I was always prone to.

Thank you so much for entering the giveaway!

These look really neat. I think I would need a small or a medium, depending on how I wear my hair.

    • 4

Thank you! I tend to move around in sizes, depending on how I am into wearing my hair at the time and right now, I have a medium Tree of Life in. For the last week, I’ve been wearing it in a half up bun with a trail of hair hanging loose down my neck and back (I have really long hair). The small is actually the one size I can’t wear, oddly enough!

Thank you for entering the giveaway!

I would need a small or medium depending on how i wore my hair. These look cool, thanks!

    • 6

Thank you! I am able to put my hair into all the sizes except small and mega. I need a mini for my half up, an x-small for my ponytail, a medium for a twist up with some hair loose, a large for my full twist and an x-large for my full circle bun. It’s been fun playing with the sizes and figuring out different ways to do my hair.

Thank you for entering the giveaway!

I admit that before I stumbled across the Flexi-Clip, I was addicted to my plastic claw. I have a lot of hair and wore it in a bun all the time to keep it away from food, chores and kids. I had a claw that was made specifically for people with thick hair and I would twist my hair around and secure it on one side. I can not count the number of times I smacked that thing against the entry to the car, the back of a headrest, the back of a couch or wall or even the fridge door when I was leaning inside getting something! I still have it for demo purposes and all but the outer two “teeth” on each side are gone from all the abuse it took. LOL!

Once I put my first Flexi in my hair and wore it all day long without once bonking it against something (or having to take it out due to it hurting my head), I knew I’d never wear that thing again! As much as I’ve worn the Flexi, I have yet to see a bit of wear on them through hairspray and all. I was a believer right from the beginning. I still wear it in a bun and it still takes me only seconds to do it up but it looks and feels so much better now!

At this moment, I have mine in a half bun with hair loose and streaming down my back. It’s my go-to style these days and now that I have the hang of how to do it (took a few tries to figure out what I was trying to accomplish), I have my hair pulled back in no time and am ready to start the day.

Simply getting in time for a hot shower!!!

I’m sorry but I had to chuckle at your response, Shawn! I am the mother of 4 children, ages 16, 14, 12 and 10. Your reply reminded me of what it was like when they were all younger. Life was super hectic back then and when I look back now, I wonder how I survived the chaos but I did and I am here to tell you that it really DOES get easier! It just never seems like it is at the time. They grow so very fast, and I say this as I’m looking at graduation and college very soon for my 16 year old. Time slows down for no one!

With 3 daughters we are always looking for new ways to tame our hair! Can’t wait to try these!

    • 12

I can’t even imagine! I have one 10 year old daughter and I have a hard time getting her to take care of her hair! She loves the headbands that LIlla Rose has because they don’t hurt her head or slide off. The Flexi Clips are so great for girls, though. My 4 year old niece absolutely loves them and asks her mom to put them in her hair all the time. It’s the only thing she’ll leave in her hair and they don’t slide out!

My daughter picked out several Flexi Clips and a few pairs of bobby pins for Christmas. They are going in her stocking. :D

Thank you for your giveaway entry!

  7. 13

These are fabulous – beautiful designs! I think I’d need a small for my limp, fine hair!

    • 14

Thank you! I’m fairly fond of them myself. Hehehe. What style were you thinking of doing? If you need ideas, there are styling videos on my website down toward the bottom right. I watched all the videos as well as the sizing one before I ordered my first clip and it was pretty much spot on.

My hair is long (past my waist) but not super thick. I use an x-small in my ponytail and a mini for my half up. I need a large, though, for a full twist and an x-large for my full, circle bun! If you have a favorite style, I would suggest starting with a size you think would work for that style and then going from there.

********* This is for everyone here! Lilla Rose offers a super easy exchange if you 1) find out you need a different size or 2) discover you don’t really care for them at all. Simply hang on to your receipt and email them and they help with the rest!

Thank you for entering the giveaway!

Small. Ooh, I wish I had more hair!!

    • 16

There are sooooo many cute styles that can be done with short or thin hair. I would recommend watching the styling videos on my website and seeing what might work with your hair. For short, short hair, I’ve seen pictures of ladies who use them like a barrette and just “decorate” their hair with them. Of course, that would need to be a mini. In fact, last night I wore mine in two minis like I would two barrettes in the front of my hair to hold it off my face. It’s such a pretty way to use them because you have two in at once and it’s just striking. We also have gorgeous headbands and bobby pins that work great for short hair!

Thank you for entering the giveaway!

  9. 17

I have thick hair would work.

    • 18

These look striking in thick hair! You would need a larger size but again, it depends on the style you like. My daughter has thick hair and while I need a mini for my half up, she needs a small for it! Needless to say, we have all sorts of Flexi sizes in my bathroom drawer between the two of us. :)

I have a girlfriend who love these. I would like an extra small if I got lucky! ;-)

    • 20

I’m glad that the word about Lilla Rose is getting out there! It is still a “young” company and there are less then 1000 consultants nation wide right now! It’s why I had a hard time finding an active one in my area when I wanted to host my own party. Does she have a favorite clip style?

Thank you for entering the giveaway!

  11. 21

I would love one of these for my very thick hair! I would wear a small for half up styles and medium for all my hair.

    • 22

If you have very thick hair, you might find you need an extra large if you put all your hair up in a twist! My hair is neither thick nor thin and for my full up twist, I use a large. My daughter, who has very thick hair, needs an x-large! She also wears a small for a half up. I love how the clips come in the 7 different sizes so that women and girls with ALL hair types can enjoy them.

Thank you for entering my giveaway!

  12. 23

I would need a small or medium depending on what style I would want … my hair is long but its medium texture – not thin or thick :) I always wear my hair in a boring bun so this would be amazing!!

    • 24

Oooh, you have my hair type! Mine is also neither thin nor thick and it’s long, down past my waist. I can’t quite sit on it yet but I’m trying to get it there! :D I am also a bun lover. I used to have a plastic claw that I used every single day to hold my bun up. It was made for thick hair and held a good chunk of the bun but not quite all of it. I used it so much the inner teeth all fell out! I should take a picture of it sometime. I still have it for demo purposes. I love how the Flexi-Clip holds up my ENTIRE bun and it doesn’t come loose at all during the day! It also looks sooooo much better then my icky brown claw looked.

Thank you for entering the giveaway!

  13. 25

    Medium sounds right! Thanks!

    • 26

How do you think you’d wear your hair with the medium clip? Are you a half up lady, a full twist lady or something in between? :) I love a medium to hold up my half bun with tails. My favorite one is the Tree of Life. So simple yet so elegant.

Thank you for entering the giveaway!

Definitely thinking I would need a small or extra small. My pregnancies made my hair SUPER thin!

    • 28

I use a mini for my half ups and an extra small for my ponytails! The only reason I need larger sizes for my fill twists and buns is because my hair is quite long and there’s a lot to it when I bring it all up! I also noticed that my hair was thinner then it had been in my youth once I had my babies!

Thank you for entering the giveaway!

    Jennifer E says:

Medium for me or a large. Can these hold up buns too? It’s hard to find something for long hair anymore that will hold. I normally use stretchy bands, but they wear out.

    • 30

Oh my goodness, do they ever hold up buns! I have hair below my waist and also had a hard time finding something COMFORTABLE that would hold up all of my hair. Before Lilla Rose, I was using a plastic claw designed for thick hair. I had worn that poor thing out (after only having it for a few months!) to the point where it only had the four teeth on the outside of the clip. All the others had fallen off! The first time I put a Flexi-Clip in my hair and wore it all day with no pain or pulling and no bonking it on everything I came near, I was sold! I wear my hair all the time in a bun and the only thing holding it up is a Flexi! I use a large for my full twist and an extra large for my circle bun.

Thank you for entering the giveaway!

  16. 31

The Flexi Clip looks really nice. I think I would need the small and extra small.

    • 32

Thank you! They are very, very nice. :) Very durable (they have to be for me!), flexible thanks to the music wire and I’ve even heard and seen a picture of one that was accidentally run over with a car and you’d never know it! Even the beads were still in perfect condition. As you can tell, I love mine. :D

Thank you for entering in the giveaway!

  17. 33

    I would need a x-small for a half-up and a medium for a pony-tail, and perhaps a large for the chigon style.

  18. 35

  19. 37

Hard choice. I have thick hair and short right now but I am growing it out so when its long it tends to get thicker. Probably a large maybe a medium

    • 38

If your hair is that thick, I would guess a medium for a ponytail, a large for your full twist and an x-large for a bun! Perhaps an x-small for a half up. Sounds like you have awesome hair!

      Thanks for entering the giveaway!

Always looking for new ways to style my hair in a hurry.

Flexi-Clips are GREAT for quick and easy styles that look great and professional. If you visit my website (my info is there if you click my name) and look toward the bottom right, you’ll see the videos. Click on those and you’ll get a choice of the sizing or styling videos. The sizing one is the same as the one above here in the blog. The styling ones are awesome to show different ways to use the clips. Watch those and maybe you’ll get some sparks of ideas!

Thank you for entering the giveaway!

  21. 41

WOW these look so easy. Would loooove to try on my waist length, coarse and thick hair. I’m thinking a medium to large would work awesome!!!

    • 42

Oh my goodness, I would love to see them in your hair as well! I think you are probably right about the medium to a large and if you wear buns, I would guess a mega might actually work to secure it for you! I’ve only met one other women who can wear a mega and her hair is exactly as you described yours to be! How fun to have such a head full of hair!

Thank you for entering the giveaway!

  22. 43

My hair is long and thick on one side. These clips are very pretty. Size would be an extra large or large.

    • 44

It sounds like you might be right. If you want it all the way up (full twist), you’d probably want an extra large. For a ponytail, a medium or large would probably work. These look so pretty in long hair and I would love to see what you could do with a clip, how many styles you would create! They are so much fun to play with!

Thank you for entering the giveaway!

  23. 45

Wow! Never seen these before! I would need a small or medium depending on how I wore my hair! Thanks!

    • 46

I was blown away the first time I put one in my hair. I watched all the stuff online and ordered my first Flexi from a friend’s party (she lives in Iowa and I’m in Michigan!) so I never touched one before ordering. Once I got it, I started playing with it and it was love at first sight. Now I wear them every day and they are so comfortable and versatile! I have fun trying to styles that I think up during my day.

Thank you for entering the giveaway!

  24. 47

    Probably small

    • 48

Small is the most popular size. I sell a lot of them! Most women can do their hair in one style or another (usually many more ways then one) with a small. I’m an oddball in that I can’t wear the small. LOL!

Thank you for entering the giveaway!

  25. 49

My 2 daughters( 9 & 10 ) have curly, thick , below shoulder hair. I’m always looking for hair ideas for them and these look wonderful. They usually wear ponies, 1/2 up or updo’s to school. Such Cute designs. I’m thinking a medium would be great !

    • 50

OH ! And love love love the Celtic & Cross designs totally goes with our school. I think all the girls would want one !!

      • 51

Thick, curly hair would probably take a medium for ponytail and possibly updo (like the tails up). Maybe a small for the half up. It’s possible even a large for the full twist. The great thing about Lilla Rose is that if you need to exchange it for a different size, they make it so easy! Simply call or email the company and an exchange can be done. They really go above and beyond what we are used to with customer service.

The cross designs are some of my favorites! I love that there are several different styles with crosses on them so it fits nearly every personality!

Thank you so much for entering the giveaway!

I would need a Large one!

    • 53

You must have thick hair! What do you like you’d use the most, style wise? I tend to do mine in a full twist (in which I need a large) or full bun (in which I need an extra large) more times then not. Today it’s in a half up since it wasn’t dry before I left the house!

Thank you for entering the giveaway!

The zinc pin is absolutely beautiful and give the clip an antiqued type of look. It also appears to be sturdy enough to hold my thick hair without breaking or opening.
