This post is actually regarding the previous week’s sale, but I figured no one would read on last weeks commments and had to vent
Note to self: NEVER go to Meijer on a Saturday night again! It was one of the WORST trips ever! First, nearly all the 10/$10 items were wiped out. Then I did the $25 gift card get $10 off jeans deal (which I just did 2 days ago and bought the identical jeans and worked fine) and my jeans rang up for $4 ????? Said reg price was $13 (supposed to be $9) but then $4 was next to it. Whatever! So, after the cashier checked with the apparel dept who then checked w/cust service, who checked w/a mgr (and NO ONE knew what I was talking about!)…she said she entered a coupon for $4 off to offset it (which after checking my receipt and ASKING her if she indeed did that to which she said she had) there was NO such coupon! UGH! Then after all that and trying to keep my cool, NONE of my printed coupons would scan so she had to enter all manually (which I was very thankful and appreciative for). And to top it all off, my $3 catalina for the Meijer Organice/Naturals didn’t print so I have to contact Catalina. All in all, one of the most tiring aggravating experiences! Makes me wonder why I coupon after trips like this.
I am so glad that it is never like that at my Maumee Meijer. I did the jean deal again today too and still many signs up in the store to tell about the deal. That is a bummer there were no signs up at your store. I am sorry you had a bad time today. I tend to feel like that at other stores but never Meijer. We all have those bad coupon experiences from time to time.
Jamie, I’m so sorry you had such a terrible trip today! I was equally frustrated about the organics…they weren’t even on sale at my store (Midland, MI)…so I didn’t even try to get the catalina!! I think all in all that even though there are some “rough” trips, the amount we save or have cut from our budgets still makes couponing worth it!! Hope you have a better experience next time!!
The same thing happened to me with the jeans earlier in the week. They checked and said they were on clearance but hasn’t been marked yet. Strange thing is, I went back the next day to stock up on $4 jeans, and they all rang up $9 that time! So frustrating!
After 1 very terrible experience with Meijer-cashier double and triple scanning items, not scanning my coupons, totally rude (I called corporate about her), I felt that I couldn’t trust the cashiers because before her I would always have 1 coupon that didn’t get scanned by other cashiers as well. So I started only using the Uscan where I could make sure my coupons rung up properly. I have recently went through the cashier lines twice with small orders because Uscan was swamped and I made sure to watch my coupons like a hawk. I went yesterday about 5pm and while the store was busy they had all items in stock which was not the case on Tuesday afternoon when I went and they were out of several of the 10/$10 items. I feel that I get the best deals at Meijer and do the majority of my shopping there supplemented with Kroger, Target and Earthfare. I rarely shop at Walmart for food.
Last week when I did the 10/$10 items 11th free, I rang up two orders of 11 with my last item being a frozen mac and cheese that did not have any coupons or mperks. The register said on the screen that the mac and cheese was free and it took off a dollar on each order. HOWEVER, when i got my receipt, it said that my “free” item was the Heinz gravy and it only took off $0.50 because it counted the mperks against me. I ended up at customer service and they gave me back my $0.50 for each order, but I wanted to let everyone know to check your receipts from last week because the meijers was ripping customers off. BTW, I shopped at the 12 mile and mound.
I just finished writing up almost exactly this same complaint and emailed it to the Mperks team. My 11th was the gravy, and I saw it take off $1, but when the Mperks came off it didn’t take the $1 off the other 2 jars, it made my 11th item change price to .50. Yours is even worse tho because your gravy wasn’t even your 11th item. You really should do a copy/paste of this to save you time typing, and send it to Meijer. Mine happened at the Madison Hts location.

Has anybody had problems with Catalina “Support”? I recently had 2 different cases where a Catalina did not print, the second time the Catalina machine broke down right as it was starting to print and the rude u-scan cashier gave me a “nothing I can do about it!”. I filled out the on-line form both times, right away. First time, they never even responded, second time they said they were unable to locate my transaction. I filled out all the info very carefully – they had store, time, receipt #, etc. I figured doing on-line would be easier than arguing with Meijer Customer Service. Guess not. Very frustrating.
You might want to try calling the 1-800 number, intead. I’ve had much better luck calling them directly rather than deal with Meijer CS or the catalina emails.
If you don’t have proof of the offer, then “arguing with Meijer Customer Service” is about all you can do… you can get lucky but I would say odds are against you.
I try to have the offer print out on me – although I know some are unadvertised. But either the offer print out or tags on the shelf and I’m heading to CS if it doesn’t print. In my experience, any time something doesn’t work and you have proof, on paper, CS has no problem giving you the money.
I have $1 off nutter butter cookies(10.5 oz +) that I printed a while ago. These should match up with the tray packs of cookies in the buy 5 get $5 off.
Are the tray packs included? I’ve got the same coupons. I hope so!

I haven’t been able to print from coupons.com for the past couple of months. I can print from smartsource and red plum, but not coupons.com. Does anyone know what is wrong?
I have a Mac and they will not print using Safari but will print using FireFox. Try using a different browser. Hope that helps!

I had to download google chrome and get on there to get online just to be able to print coupons.
Hello all, Recyclebank has some Suave coupons right now. I was able to print (2) of the .50 off any one kids’ Suave product. It only cost me 50 points.

I’m not sure that mPerks is intended for that… “Pain Relief” is Meijer’s name for their Tylenol substitute… interestingly, ‘Ibuprofen’ they just call ‘Ibuprofen’
Also, if you go into mPerks you’ll see the Meijer brand Tylenol pictured.

I tried to do the Muir Glen tomato paste deal at the Ann Arbor-Saline Rd. Meijer and couldn’t find the brand anywhere. Has anyone else shopped there and found it?
Nicole, a few weeks ago I hunted all over a different store for the Muir Glen products and couldn’t find them. A few days later I went aisle by aisle and eventually found them in the Pasta area, on the bottom shelf by the bread sticks. They were not with the other canned tomato products.
That’s my store Nicole and I found the Muir Glen tomato sauce (15oz) on sale and used two coupons. I can’t recall if I even found/looked for the paste as I have been getting 5 Meijer pastes with the natural/organic deal. Muir Glen was not with the other sauces/pastes. While looking at that aisle, it was right of middle. Right at/below the middle of the shelf. Hope this helps!
I didn’t look at that location, but had a hard time finding it at Carpenter Rd. Finally found it between the pasta and pasta sauce – not next to the other tomato sauces. Check that whole pasta aisle and you should see it.

I had couldn’t find them in South Bend, IN, either. Will look near the breadsticks next. But the Meijer brand was only $.57 each can, so I picked up some of those.
FYI- although the mperks coupon does not work on kids, we we did get the $2 ONYO of pain reliever after buying 2 Meijer kids’ acetaminophen, which we then combined with the coupon on the adult version. Just an FYI for flu season.

Does anyone know how much the pampers super packs are? There is the deal that if you buy 2, you get a $10 meijer gift card. Babies r us has $8 off coupons of 88 ct. or higher boxes, so if you use those and with the gift card should make for a great self on diapers!

I did the math and if I buy 1 size 2 Swaddlers (100ct) and 1 size 3 Baby dry (112ct), I end up paying 10.4c per diaper. Obviously, that will vary depending on the size/count diapers you get, but that’s an awesome price in my book!

Has anyone done the Meijer brand cheese deal? I purchased four packages of slices and one tub of ricotta and did not receive the Catalina. The customer service is always good about giving out a coupon for a Catalina that didn’t print, but just wondering if anyone else had a problem?

The Suave body lotion is on sale for 3 for $5 ($1.66 ea.) – I don’t think this was listed in the Meijer Ad but there are signs up (not a pr. There is a coupon for $2 off 1, making this item FREE (the register adjusts the coupon down). Also, I was able to use the FREE Lindor chocolate coupon without a problem.

Not according to the manager at my Meijer (Jackson). I’ve specifically asked a manger to clarify and she stated that any store competitor coupons (i.e. Babies R Us, Target, etc) are to be treated exactly like a Meijer store coupon. They are manually entered by the cashier as a store coupon and we ARE allowed to stack them with a manufacturer’s coupon. I did this exact deal the last time it was here (maybe a month or so ago?) and with the BRU coupon, it worked great.
It makes sense – Meijer is “eating” the cost of their store coupon, so why not “eat” the cost of another store’s coupon and keep the customers coming to them instead of going elsewhere…
For those who are unsure, it might be worth (yet another!) talk with their Meijer managers for clarification.

Oh yes, go to the Toys R Us website, click the link for their weekly ad and flip to the 4th (last) page. The coupon is in the bottom left corner. Print it twice and head to Meijer!
I’ve only asked once by my Meijer store (Cadillac) says they only take general merchandise competitor coupons-is that how your Meijer’s is also? I thought I was getting the impression that people were using other competitor food coupons as well…? So confusing! lol
I went to my Meijer this afternoon and the cashier wouldn’t accept my $8 TRUS coupons. She said she thinks $8 is too much and then took the coupons to customer service and returned saying they won’t accept competitor coupons that have that high of a value. I told her the coupon policy does no state that. (I printed their policy to bring with my just in case, and forgot it at home!) So I told her that I did not want the diapers and would go to elsewhere then. I considered going to customer service after my transaction myself, but I had my 15 month old son with me who was losing patience quickly. UGH!
I was able to use a BRU Huggies coupon last week.

Just an FYI, the bite size mini-wheats that are on sale are the 18 oz. only, which were recently recalled, so there are none on the shelf. The other flavors qualify for the buy 4, get 1 free, but the price on those is 3.19. Not a great deal.

I am trying to stock up on the Milk-bone dog treats. Am I able to use more than three like coupons in a transaction? Also, there are two different coupons out there for 1.50/2. Would I be able to use 3 of one coupon and 3 of the other in 1 transaction? The sale is at Meijer (which you probably already know since I have posted this on the Meijer matchups.
Kroger is the store that limits to 3 like coupons. Meijer has no such limit whatsoever, but they will only double two like coupons. Since yours are such a high dollar amount, they wouldn’t double anyways, so you can use all your coupons in one transaction
I was there last wk using bogo glade cps and the young kid tried to tell me i could only use 1 like cp per transaction and was very rude about it saying im not goin to argue with you and just this 1 time this is their new policy bla bla bla and sop he was the manager the kid couldnt have been older then 18. Also tired to explain to me that one per purchase was the same as one per transaction !!! OMG !! I was soooooo mad!
Oh and not to mention their Ad clearly states the will double 2 like cps and they will be redeemed at face value after that! I hate when people dont kno what they are talkin about!!!
