We tried the candy corn ones and didn’t care for them but you never know how any of the special flavors will taste until you try.

Careful on the Purina deal where you are suppose to get $5 back on your next visit when you purchase more than $35 of Purina products. Last spring at my store the coupon generated was for $5 on a gasoline purchase ONLY. The weekly advertisement clearly says ‘on your next purchase’. I immediately contacted the Meijer corporate offices and complained, they sent me a form letter to say it was forwarded to the local store . . . but I never heard anything. I doubt any local store was has any control over what coupons are triggered.
Ive given up on complaining even beyond my not working deals that they give me a hard time about and embarassing mey, I had to complain a couple weeks ago about a crack in the concrete that when my cart hit it almost sent my 3 month old in the shopping cart FLYING literally, I was so shook up it scared the daylights out of me. I complained to the service desk and 2 greeters and NOTHING was ever done to fix it. I mean WTH??
Last year a Rochester woman had a web site similar to this one but primarily geared to women shopping in northern Oakland County. She had so many bad experiences at Rite Aid and another store . . . I can’t recall which but it was not Meijer, that she quit even posting their sales anymore. Likely cause B2B readers are more scattered throughout the state readers they have various experiences at the chain stores. It would be helpful when people have a good experience talking to the employees to resolve issues they indicate which location they were at and even give the first name or initials of that employee.
Tiff I know your pain. At the Waterford store after dark pan-handling was a repeated experience in the store AND on your way out the store. I once saw a pan-handler walk up behind a woman as she was unloading groceries and she screamed. Very unnerving when you go shopping alone. After I saw it happen three times in two visits I went in during the day and asked to speak to the store manager and he essentially brushed me off. If there is good Meijers stores to shop at I would appreciate knowing which ones they are.
At the Waterford store I had a guy trying to sell me his bridge card for gas money so he could get back to wherever he came from. Really? Can’t we just shop in peace?
i had pan-handlers begging for $ at the Walmart in Orlando, FL. of course the woman wanted $ to purchase her kids food until we offered to go in the store and purchase items for her…then she was no longer interested.

Both the Belleville and Canton stores have amazing staff that regularly go above and beyond to fix any problems that come up (i.e. giving a gift card when a cashier didn’t accept a Target coupon, giving an extra Meijer coupon if a catalina doesn’t print or an mperk doesn’t come off). I rarely have any issues at all though.
I very rarely stray from going to the Belleville Meijer! They are always nice and the store is always clean. It’s usually very well stocked unless there are those “free” items. They do run out of those quickly. But I dread if I have to go to a different one. I haven’t been to Canton but I do agree with Melanie on the Belleville one, they are awesome!

No it was not the Linvonia store.
Also last year during the holidays I also ran into a couple pan handlers looking for spare change in the evening. Scareds the crap out of me (a 28 year old female) as I was loading groceries into my car as the guy would not take NO for an answer. I dont blame this on Meijer as all “value” type stores are going to attract a special croud of people.

I honestly can’t say enough nice things about the Oxford, MI Meijer. I love that store. The people there are so darn nice and helpful. And it seems so genuine. Lapeer is a nice alternative, they have a larger inventory and their prices are a little lower (Walmart nearby), but I really enjoy shopping at Oxford.

Just fyi last week baileys coffee creamer was 1.33 and I had 1.00 coupons from some insert not sure which ones sorry and it made them only .33 each!!! It may be worth checking out the price this week cause I dont know if it was sale or price drop!
I printed the Nestle Birthday coupon this morning. It was supposed to be for $0.50 but it is actually $0.55. Same thing happened to my sister. Just wanted to toss a heads up out there to everybody!
My Meijer (23 & Gratiot) had the CapriSun for 3.79, not 2.50
@Melissa, CapriSun were not marked on sale at our Meijer. I asked my 8 yr old son, who loooves to scan check to look into it…and sure enough, they came up on sale for 2 for $5. I bought 3, clipped the mperk for $1 off and got the $3 off instantly at the register.

On the cat for purchasing the Swanson Premium Canned Chicken-it is working for both sizes of cans (the bigger can is a better deal) and when I bought 3 cans so I could use the coupon .60/3 from last Sundays paper I got $1.50 cat. I use these to make creamed chicken sandwiches in crock pot.

I may be losing it, but didn’t I see a coupon for the hot pocket snackers someplace recently? I can’t seem to find where it was. Also, I didn’t receive the capri sun coupon on mperks for some reason, anyone else having this problem?
The Mperks on the nesltle morsles did not come off at the register.
My $1/3 Capri Sun mperks did not come off and I assumed it was because of the instant $3 off. Does the mperks still usually come off if you have another Meijer deal coming off?
Also, I did get my Nestle chips catalina but never saw a Nestle chip mperks that could be clipped. Anyone see that?

I did. I got 3 of the 100% apple. Got the $3 off instantly but the mperks did not come off.
Call them. Your service desk has the number and I’ll bet you can get it online. When I have mperks that don’t come off I call them with my receipt info and they verify the oversight and then apply the dollar amount to my mperks # and it comes off my next purchase.
Dannon yogurt deal this week at Meijer – the 6 oz fruit at the bottom yogurts were $.70 each for the longest time. they’ve switched over to 4-packs on these (6 oz each X 4) plus put them on sale for $1.88 so we’ve went from $.70 down to $.47 each
Earlier this week there was a post regarding Meijer and Glade scented oil that was .99 and there was a coupon for $1 off one. The post said that there was a Catalina Promo if you bought 2 get $1 off your next purchase, if you bought 3 get $2 off your next purchase. Does this sound familiar or has anyone tried this?

The $1.00 Catalina ONYO coupon for Gerber 3rd Foods Jar (supposed to buy 8 or more) printed two $1.00 coupons when I purchased 16 jars in the same transaction. Not sure if it was supposed to but it did.

Is this a new policy, meijer only doubling 2 identical coupons when their doing the $5.00 off ten items? Few weeks ago when they did the this same sale with the kleenex, pizza rolls, etc., all my coupons under .50 doubled and i had more than 2 identical. Also they didnt accept my 1.25 off 2 refrig nestle ccokie dough from very best baking and couldnt give me a reason why. Did ayone else have that problem.

Tried using the Nestle Birthday cookie dough coupon twice and it shows up while scanning on the screen, but doesn’t appear on my receipt. This has happened twice. Anyone else having this problem? And yes, I know it used to 50 cents, but now says 55 cents.
