Kroger Catalina Promotions

Unless otherwise stated, all Catalina offers are limited to one per transaction. Read more about what to do if your Catalina coupon doesn’t print as expected.

Buy 2 Nestle Toll House Morsels in one transaction, get $1.00 checkout coupon valid on your next order. Buy 3, get $1.50; buy 4 or more, get $2.00. (1/23-2.19)

Have you received a Catalina advertisement at a Kroger register? Please share in the comments!

You can now view the Kroger coupon policy for Michigan online.
Please that Kroger’s coupon policy clearly states in each store ad: Limit 3 Manufacturer’s Coupons will be Doubled (up to $0.50) per Like Items Purchased.

You WILL need a Kroger card to take advantage of these offers; sign up for one at the Customer Service desk if you do not have one!

NOTE on Printable Coupons: Some Kroger stores have been denying the redemption of any printable coupon over $1, so proceed with caution when using printable coupons. You can view/print the Kroger Print-at-Home Coupon Acceptance Policy here, which does not specifically restrict the use of printables over $1.

SELECT Kroger stores outside of Macomb (some stores in Saginaw and Genessee counties along with the Howell location – view a full list here or a map of stores here) will double manufacturer’s coupons up to $1.00! This can mean a great savings (and some potential free items each week). If your travels happen to take you north, check the Kroger ad (search by zip code) for the areas you’re passing through. You just might want to pack your coupons, too!

Load digital coupons to your Kroger card before you shop: visit Cellfire, P&G eSaver, Shortcuts and Kroger Digital Coupons. Each website lists the e-coupons that can be loaded onto your Kroger Card so that you can save even more! E-coupons are limited to one use per card and will NOT double. Kroger digital coupons may NOT be combined with actual paper manufacturer coupons.

I think there are two varities of this coupon as I have one that says dnd and one that doesn’t. hth!

    • 3

      Jenesa says

You’re right, Jessica … that one doesn’t double. The others from the 1-8 RP (for the Baked and Reduced Fat varieties) do double. Thanks for catching that!

  1. 4

    kelly says

isn’t $1.77/lb Tyson Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breasts a stock up price? looks good to me!!

Thanks again Jolyn for all you do! With your help I have my husband believing that couponing IS saving us money :)

  2. 6

    Leah says

I was wondering, do you think that these $.25 off catalina’s will double when you use them on your next trip? I am curious to see if they say “do not double” or “store coupon” instead of “manufacturers coupon”…just curious. Would love to hear if anyone gets to the store to try this soon :)

        • 9

          Sara says

what participating items is this?? and for every 4 you get .25? i tried looking on Kroger couldnt find anything. please help clear this up for me. thanks :)

  3. 17

    Kit says

Did a quick stop at the Davisburg Kroger yesterday to test out the quarter deal. Found that Wolf Chili was part of the sale at $1.50 a can -$0.40 coupon (doubled) – $0.25 quarter deal = $0.45 cents a can. Not a stupendous deal since they were $0.20 recently at Meijer.

The quarter deal catalina has an expiration date of 3-2. I was worried it would be a super short time frame so I did a pretty small order to test it out.

Raincheck lesson learned: When you get a raincheck, ask them to use the store stamp in the lower left corner instead of writing the store number in by hand. The Davisburg store wouldn’t take one from the Grand Blanc store since it wasn’t stamped.

  4. 18

just to let you know, i have been to several krogers stores and the ones in commerce waled lake and novi all take 5 coupons, but still only double to .50 cents

  5. 20

    Carrie L says

I recieved coupons from Kroger in the mail yesterday and one of them was for $.50 off when you spend $2 on canned soup. If I buy four of the Kroger tomato soup @ $.50 ea and use the $.50 off $2 coupon it brings it to $.37-$.38 ea. My question being is that a decent price?

I also have a $2 off Tide coupon so I would pay $2.99 for the Tide. Is that a good price for Tide and is the free and clear Tide part of the sale?

    • 21

      Melissa says

In my opinion.. yes and yes they are both good prices. Not sure about the free and clear, but most likely it is part of the sale.

  6. 22

    Carrie L says

If I do two different transactions of 4 participating products and use the catalinas from the first order on the second order will it roll?

  7. 23

    Tracy says

In the Kroger ad I got (in Sturgis, MI) Rotel tomatoes are part of the Quarter back promotion. I have a $1.25 off one from the FB promotion a week or two ago and there is a $.75/2 on Savingstar, so if I buy 2 it should be a $.50 Money Maker!! I’m going to try it later today and I’ll let you know if it works.

    • 24

      Tracy says

Sorry, I got so excited, the coupons are for Red Gold, not Rotel :( They both start with an R…..

      • 25

        Sara says

i hate when i do that. was so excited about the true moo coupon only to be dissapointed i had to buy a reg milk :(

  8. 28

    D says

I went to the Kroger on Michigan Ave in Canton and they won’t accept more than three alike coupons in a week! They told me they had a costumer that would empty the shelves and would come day after day.

    • 29

      Sara says

Thats bs!! My kroger in livonia wont double any!! so i drive to westlad to go shopping there. My thing is how would they know if you came back the next day. Use a different kroger card use a diff lane lol

      • 30

        FrugalBehind says

If that story is true they probably all recognize that particular person! :)

I’m sure “regular couponers” will do just fine coming back later… as obviously that limitation isn’t directed at them. My interpretation.

    • 31

      FrugalBehind says

Wow! I specifically asked in that store not all that long ago and was told they did not limit the number of like coupons… I’m not 100% sure but I think that applied to doubling them as well.
I’ll have to go there again and see if I get the same story :).

    • 32

      FrugalBehind says

Another thought: If I had a customer that bought in quantity – that person would be my best friend. I’d encourage them to let me know what they’re looking for so I could order extra.

    • 33

      FrugalBehind says

I was indeed told 3 like coupons – but none of the “per week” and didn’t specifically ask about that. If I came back the next day (or shift) I’m sure I’d be good.

  9. 34

    kathy r says

  11. 36

    Nicole says

Anyone else running into issues with cashiers calling managers over to check coupons? I was at the Kroger in Shelby and had to wait 20 minutes for them to go over the coupons and compare them to things in my cart BEFORE ringing them. I was horrified. Only had 4 coupons.

    • 37

      Sara says

Only at the Livonia Meijers. I actually had a paper jam and i think the lady thought i was waiting for a coupon check lol they are such idiots there

      • 38

        Jessica says

I always try to find the youngest worker at the registers.. they seem to not even care if the coupons match up or not, even if they have to type it in. They are super fast and nice too! The older cashiers just seem to make my trip miserable…they have to check EVERY coupon and they are hesitant to type them in without managers permission. I was so embarrassed one morning because of how long it took, everyone was giving me the evil eye (because they only had one lane open, of course) and it wasn’t even my fault. When I went back a few days later, I went to a younger girl and she even helped me save more than I thought I could!

        • 39

          FrugalBehind says

That’s exactly right! I’m not trying to pull a fast one. I play by the rules and I don’t need people to make me feel like I don’t! When that coupon beeps it’s not MY fault, now I’m fine if you quickly want to check I’m not doing anything wrong , but really what I need you to do is FIX IT. Young guys do that. (Looking at the above, young girls too :) )
What I DON’T need is to have a 5 minute argument about why I’m right, and then potentially have to escalate that to a manager, but either way leave in a bad mood.

Apologies for the rant :). And yes, I know I make mistakes too. When it comes to coupons I do my homework and I’m usually right :).

    • 40

      FrugalBehind says

In their defense, they must have had some issues with coupons. I would be perfectly OK with someone checking my coupons, but at the same time – I’m not waiting 20 mins for that to happen!!!

  12. 41

    Julie says

I have a krogers a couple of blocks from me. I have had many bad experiences there couponimg. I go up to the other West Bloomfield one off Hagerty and am never given problems. Today they took both my cereal coupons $4/4 and the $5/5. The $5/5 one was printed in black and white from a work printer and was poor quality. They are nice and always stocked. The one by me is a nightmare!
