KROGER COUPON POLICY

You can now view the Kroger coupon policy for Michigan online.
Please that Kroger’s coupon policy clearly states in each store ad: Limit 3 Manufacturer’s Coupons will be Doubled (up to $0.50) per Like Items Purchased.

You WILL need a Kroger card to take advantage of these offers; sign up for one at the Customer Service desk if you do not have one!

NOTE on Printable Coupons: Some Kroger stores have been denying the redemption of any printable coupon over $1, so proceed with caution when using printable coupons. You can view/print the Kroger Print-at-Home Coupon Acceptance Policy here, which does not specifically restrict the use of printables over $1.

KROGER SHOPPING TIPS

SELECT Kroger stores outside of Macomb (some stores in Saginaw and Genessee counties along with the Howell location – view a full list here or a map of stores here) will double manufacturer’s coupons up to $1.00! This can mean a great savings (and some potential free items each week). If your travels happen to take you north, check the Kroger ad (search by zip code) for the areas you’re passing through. You just might want to pack your coupons, too!

Load digital coupons to your Kroger card before you shop: visit Cellfire, P&G eSaver, Shortcuts and Kroger Digital Coupons. Each website lists the e-coupons that can be loaded onto your Kroger Card so that you can save even more! E-coupons are limited to one use per card and will NOT double. Kroger digital coupons may NOT be combined with actual paper manufacturer coupons.

FYI I rec’d a catalina coupon recently for $1.25 off of 2 coffeemate creamers. :) used it yesterday. it ended up being cheaper than the kroger brand creamers.

  2. 2

I believe the Colgate coupon expired on 2-18

    Kim Fielden says:

The pop-tart coupon was there on the page when I went to the site. But when I logged in, it was gone! Did this happen to anyone else?

  4. 7

Am I missing something or are these deals for the Daytona not really worth buying the items because they all seem to be in black, no green or red items unless you live in the area of doubles up to $1.

I was really hoping this week would be a great week with plenty to purchase listed in green. (stock up price) but seems once again I will have to pass on Krogers.

  5. 10

She didnt include the extra $.20 off per item via the catalina

  6. 11

I understand that she didn’t include the .20 of per item but does it or does it not put the item in green (stock up price) or not?

    coupon guy says:

Has anyone else noticed that the Davison kroger has now started to become more VG’s-like in their dealings with couponers? the last time i was in there i had broken up my boxes of cereal onto 2 separate orders and they cashier said they no longer allow the “splitting” of orders. hoping it was a freak thing rather than them taking the 1st step down that slippery slope.

    • 13

I was just leave and comeback. It just irks me that some random cashier is costing the store sales because they are too lazy to ring up seperate transactions.

    • 14

Nope, I shop at the Davison one as well, and you can’t split orders. However, there are very few cashiers that did it for me because I had one order that included baby food and they thought that I had WIC for that order, but really I just wanted them separate :-)

    • 15

Kroger policy is (and has been) one transaction per shopping trip, which pretty much means you need to leave and come back… It’s nothing to do with being “lazy;” that is actually the policy.

      • 16

I was at the Grand Blanc store and they no longer allow you to do more than 3 like coupons in a day. They also don’t allow you to use the printables that may have another stores log on them even if they are a Man Q. Makes it really hard now that I travel alone when couponing. :(

        • 17

Davison is really enforcing the one transaction per day rule. This is even if you orders are totally different. It seems that it has nothing to do with some wanting to do the same transaction again, but the bottom line is, no separate orders period. They have clearly said to me too that it is okay for a shopper to come in everyday, but only once a day. This only advantages the individual who lives close by, but certainly not the individual who drives a distance and only visits once a week. For myself, I have just accepted the rules, and leave with my three identical items. It still makes no sense to me why you can not break up your order to pay for it separately if your order is different.

  8. 19

I am not sure in that Tammy. I think a few of those items would be stock up if the $.20 was taken off. In the end though if you need it and its a good price for YOU I would say go for it. :-)

I think Jolyn does a nice job on this site and thank you Jolyn, but I still feel that it is important for everyone to get to know their prices along their couponing journey, and to set their own price points for items that they purchase. For someone starting out, you may be willing to pay more for an item than someone that has been couponing for years. As Sarah mentioned, it sometimes comes down to if you need a particular item and how much it is worth to you too. Also, there are a lot of unadvertised sales in the stores too to watch for and to be able to save on. I try to read the comments for this reason alone, as well as add some deals myself when time permitting.

I have to agree it’s a very personal thing – while the Breyers ice cream for most isn’t a “hot” stock up price it’s the only ice cream I will buy because of the ingreedients so for us it’s a stock up price and I bought 5 cartons to freeze. If you don’t care about ingreedients you could certainly find ice cream for cheaper.

        • 22

Good point about the Breyers. I feel the same way about that brand and will be getting several. For someone who is only looking for the lowest possible price on ice cream, it wouldn’t be a good deal for them, but to you and me it is. And your comment about buying them to freeze cracked me up.

  9. 23

To add to my comment above…
GM Treat Bars would be a good deal at $1.00 dont you think? (if you figure in the extra $.20 off).

    • 24

Sarah, my price point for all our boxed snacks for lunches, etc. is $1.00 or less. I think that is a good price but then again we all view prices a little differently.

  10. 25

How do you get the coupons from Recyclebank? I don’t understand how to get the bumblebee coupon. :(

    • 26

Sign up for an account, then click on earn points. Take a few surveys to earn enough points for the coupon, then redeem your points and “order” the printable coupon you want. It takes a few minutes, but the coupons are usually worth it.

  11. 29

Anyone know what the price of the Kellogs cereal at 50% off is and what other flavors are included? I have 2 of the $5 off coupons and didn’t feel like going to Mejier today so was hoping Kroger would be just as good as a deal. Thanks!

    • 30

These prices are from Iheartkroger.com. She’s in Georgia, but their sales are the same and the prices are usually identical or very close.

Does anyone know of the Gillette coupon really will work on the Satin Care line? My coupon from that paper states “$1 Off One Gillette Series Shave Prep”.

    • 32

Liz – the Gillette coupon was listed with the intent that it only be used on the Gillette Series Shave Gel. The Satin Care Shave Gel is the women’s “version” and is on sale for the same price. That is why it is listed there. Sorry for any confusion!

Thanks Emily! I will be heading to Krogers this week :)

    • 35

Wow, Emily! Thanks for that list. My son’s birthday was yesterday and I didn’t make it to Meijer. Now I’ll take my coupon to Kroger. I appreciate you taking the time to let us know!

      • 36

I could not believe the size of the boxes of cereal for 50% off, and then many of the boxes had $5.00 in breakfast coupons, AWESOME! It was better than at Meijer last week, hard to believe though, lol.

  14. 37

the krave is just on sale for 2.99 but if you use .70 and .70 savingstar= 1.57 a box or .89 for $1 doubles

I think .99 for cereal bars is a really good price
dont forget if you have kids in spring sports the .55 after all mega savings is a great price

  15. 38

Emily, are those cereal prices before coupons? Thanks for the prices!

  16. 39

If my kroger doubles to a dollar would the secret really be 34 cents? They said they don’t double if it is already a dollar.

    • 40

My kroger doubles to a $1 and I had no problem using the $1 off coupon. I bought 3 of them and all of my $1 off coupons doubled making them $.34 each.

  17. 41

the cereal prices are before coupons- its the ones included in the 50% off
and I meant to say gatorade is .55 after instant mega and oyno savings
sarah some stores double $1 coupons to $2 -its .34 for those stores.
you can get a free sodelicious yogurt if you are a double .55 to $1
at sodelicious.com -yogurt is $1 and you can print .55/1

  18. 42

Yes the Gillette Q will work for the Satin Care.. I used it Last week. FYI – they wouldn’t allow me to use 4 Q’s .. 2 on Mens shave cream and 2 on Satin care. Said they are enforcing the 3 like Q’s now even if it is being used for different items.
Im excited about the Cereal sale! Been waiting for someone to have a sale on Kellogg.. Do you know if Krave is a part of this?

  19. 43

Started going through coupons krogers mail out coupons on with avacados on front

In ones that are just coupons not with mag

  20. 45

For the Daytona deal, make sure you actually get the $2 chekout coupon at the register. I stopped at 2 Krogers in Saginaw this morning, and BOTH did NOT print. I had to go to the service counter and ask for it. Wonder how many people are missing out on this!!

  21. 46

Lloyd’s BBQ tubes are included in the buy 10 promotion
    3.99 – .30 (promotion) – $1.00 (coupon) = 2.69
    a great price
coupons from 1-15 SS or coupons.com

  22. 47

I just got back from the krogers on 23 and Hayes. I tried to use the 5.00 off 5 Kellogs cereals and the coupon wouldn’t go through. A manager came over to inform me that they can’t except it because it exceeds 75% off the item. She also told me that they just posted a sign saying that coupon is fraudulant! Did anyone else have problems using this coupon? I just think they are trying to find a way to not let us use this coupon.

    • 48

Carrie, the Kroger at 6 mile and Haggerty wouldn’t take mine tonight either and told me they got an email it was fraudulant. They didn’t even try to scan it. I agree they are just trying to not let us use the coupon – which makes no sense since they will get reimbursed for it!

    • 50

I think the 75% rule has long been apart of their written policy but, I don’t think they strictly enforce it.

  23. 51

I was able to use the $5.00 of Kellogg’s this afternoon in Howell.

  24. 53

I went to the Kroger in Howell and 2 of the $2 oyno catalinas printed off. I was expecting only one, but thankfully got two! I never heard that you can’t go back to the store and purchase different things. I saw some good deals and went back in with q’s to get more stuff, things I had not purchased in my first trip. I even went to the same cashier. Different stores, different rules maybe? Love the comments, thanks for sharing deals you find!

  25. 54

I have a $2 cat from last week. Anyone know if I use it this week will I still get another one?

  26. 56

    Kashi Heart to Heart crackers & cereal 3.00 – 2.00/1 (recycle bank) = 1.00

  27. 57

I haven’t seen the meat-free catalina posted yet- If you buy:
    $10 worth get $2 OYNO
    $15 worth get $3 OYNO
    $20 worth get $5 OYNO
of products including Gortons or Mrs Pauls (or Van De Kamp’s) Fish, Stouffers mac’n’cheese, Birdseye, Morning Star, or Ore Ida (values based on shelf price, signage posted at freezer case).

I bought 1 box of Gorton’s fish ($7.49 shelf) and 2 boxes of Mrs Pauls fish ($6.99 shelf, with 2 $1/1 coupons) for $3.99 each and a $5 OYNO printed. This works out to $5 for 3 boxes of fish, which will help with lent meals!

  28. 59

I have a 75 cent coupon for Dove Go Sleeveless and Go Fresh Deodorant which expires on 2/26. Are these included in the sale on the Dove Deodorant?

  29. 61

  31. 63

I was so pleasantly surprised, milk was only $1.99. It is a limit of 2 but still … apparently this was the price last week too in Davison.
