Buy 2 Nestle Toll House Morsels in one transaction, get $1.00 checkout coupon valid on your next order. Buy 3, get $1.50; buy 4 or more, get $2.00. (1/23-2/19)

KROGER COUPON POLICY

You can now view the Kroger coupon policy for Michigan online.
Please that Kroger’s coupon policy clearly states in each store ad: Limit 3 Manufacturer’s Coupons will be Doubled (up to $0.50) per Like Items Purchased.

You WILL need a Kroger card to take advantage of these offers; sign up for one at the Customer Service desk if you do not have one!

NOTE on Printable Coupons: Some Kroger stores have been denying the redemption of any printable coupon over $1, so proceed with caution when using printable coupons. You can view/print the Kroger Print-at-Home Coupon Acceptance Policy here, which does not specifically restrict the use of printables over $1.

KROGER SHOPPING TIPS

SELECT Kroger stores outside of Macomb (some stores in Saginaw and Genessee counties along with the Howell location – view a full list here or a map of stores here) will double manufacturer’s coupons up to $1.00! This can mean a great savings (and some potential free items each week). If your travels happen to take you north, check the Kroger ad (search by zip code) for the areas you’re passing through. You just might want to pack your coupons, too!

Load digital coupons to your Kroger card before you shop: visit Cellfire, P&G eSaver, Shortcuts and Kroger Digital Coupons. Each website lists the e-coupons that can be loaded onto your Kroger Card so that you can save even more! E-coupons are limited to one use per card and will NOT double. Kroger digital coupons may NOT be combined with actual paper manufacturer coupons.

    Tiffany Gibson says:

Jolyn there is a $1/1 dove deodorant from the 1-29 uliver insert and also i found in my binder a q for .50/1 softsoap refill making the 54 oz i believe it was around .04 an oz. which seems like a pretty good deal to me considering when the 7.5oz size goes on sale for .88 usually making them .12 an oz.

    • 2

The Dove coupon from the 1-29 RP is for one of their “premium” deodorants, and I was doubtful that those were included in the sale. However, if you find out differently, please let us know! And the soap refill is Dial, not Softsoap … I didn’t see any coupons for Dial :(

      • 3

The Dove deoderants were not included in the sale. However there was one that happened to be on closeout for $2.39 making it $0.39 after the coupon.

        • 4

Did anyone find out more about the softsoap?

opps darn your right! i was up reading that late and didn’t even realize the soap sale was on dial not softsoap! darn i was hoping to get some cheap soap! :(

Esther a homeschool mom in Mid-Michigan says:

I noticed that Kroger changed the way they credit you for the $5.00 promo.
They split the reward to only get $3.00 off instantly and a $2.00 catalina to come back later. My Kroger will only let you use (1) catalina per transaction. So, if you have multiple $2.00 coupons, it becomes more of a challenge to redeem them before they expire:(

    • 7

Wow, i looked at the coupon/catalina says its a coupon on the front. On the back it only says you can’t use more then one if its (for any offer as applicable) it alsay has a coupon part on the back. I think you are going to the wrong kroger. Or the wrong cashier. I always go to guys that are around 20. Older ladies make me go crazy.

Esther a homeschool mom in Mid-Michigan says:

Unfortunatly Matt, my Kroger went from being easy to coupon at to extremely difficult to coupon at. They got burned to the tune of at least $8,000 dollars lost a few months ago from unethical couponers and every couponer is paying for it. Their policies keep changing and it’s only verbal. The written policies don’t match what their verbal policies are. And they do check every coupon to protect themselves. It doesn’t seem to matter if it’s the young male cashiers or the more senior lady cashiers.

        • 9

While speaking recently with a manager and expressing my frustrations over the constantly changing *enforcement* of the *same* written coupon policy, I was told that they had to fire several (as in more than one!) cashiers for not following the coupon policy. That sure has given me a whole new perspective when a cashier takes extra time to really look at the coupons I hand them. It is their job at stake and NO coupon I want to use is worth that for either them or myself. That provided quite the wake up call for me and I’ve had extra patience ever since.

  3. 11

Was told that Dannon Light and Fit is not part of the promo at 2 different Kroger? Can anyone confirm that it is or isn’t?

  4. 12

    What Kroger is this?

  5. 13

I hit Kroger for the Mega 10 sale and got 20 items today. It did give me $6 off immediatly however they only give you one checkout coupon for $2.00 off your next order. Ideally you should do your mega 10 items in different transactions to optimize savings.

    • 14

Really?? They only give you $2 in a catalina?! That doesn’t seem right when they advertise 3 now and 2 later. I don’t like it this way anyway. I like it when it takes 5 right off my order. :(

At the Owosso Kroger yesterday I recieved 2 cats for the 20 items on the mega deal. I know the Saginaw and Bay City stores are also giving more than one cat per transaction.

I went into Kroger today looking for the $1 colgate toothpaste…there was none there and it wasn’t even advertised at my store. Anyone else have this problem?

Hefty Trashbags were a part of the Mega deal. Q in the 1-1 RP $1/1 I can’t remember the price – receipt is in the car. But I had to get trash bags since we were completely out. UGH. That was the only thing I went to the store for – emergency trip – and grabbed this Q. Nice surprise to see it part of the Mega sale.

Thank you for all your work and tips! Spent $6 oop and saved $16. Am I the only one who gets a little ‘high’ from such experiences? What fun.

Does anyone know if you can use Cellfire coupons and coupons you load onto your Kroger Card?

Esther a homeschool mom in Mid-Michigan says:

I got a surprise, the good kind, from my recent Kroger shopping trip. I got a $3.00 “store” coupon for my next order compliments of Gorton’s, Van de Kamp’s, Morningstar Farms, Stouffer’s, Ore Ida, and Bird’s Eye.
I didn’t see any signs listed for this promo. Here is what I bought: (2) Gorton’s battered fish filets and (1) Van de Kamp’s parchment kind because it was on sale and I had coupons. I don’t know if the catalina printed because I bought three items? But I won’t complain, it makes up for the IP Coupon Network they wouldn’t take for the Yoplait lactose free yogurt, lol.

Thank you for sharing, Esther! I purchased 3 Van de Kamp’s items (today, 2-19) – 1 breaded fish, 1 fish sticks, and 1 Parchment Bake – and got a $5.00 catalina! Unfortunately, I can’t find ANY additional information on this promotion, including how long it lasts :(

Did anyone get to use any of their Degree do coupons in the mega event? I was wondering if they were one of the “selected varieties.””

The Grand Blanc Kroger had Oral B Complete toothbrushes on sale for $2.05. Match that up with the $1 P&G coupon, doubled, made the toothbrushes 5 cents. While we have been able to get them free in the recent past, I still picked up 3 for my donation pile.

  18. 32

Cashier told me today that Kroger doesn’t accept internet coupons over a $1. Didn’t know that. Is there a cheat sheet floating around for major Metro Detroit store and their coupon policies? Like, for Kroger/Meijer/Target/Walmart? If not, I may make own up. Post kids, my brain is fried and I can’t remember all the policies! I want an “at a glance” sheet to put in my binder.

  19. 33

anyone been to owosso lately….are they still limiting printed coupons to 2 per manu?

  20. 35

Wow, Sarah, you are awesome! What a smart girl! I hope my little girls help me when they get older. So far, they like to throw out the expired ones :)

I remember helping my mom clip the coupons when I was super young, but never did anything like this.

That would be such a great newspaper story…
