I always get the Meijer ad in my Friday Detroit News delivery. For some reason, they don’t mail them in my area (Livonia, Farmington & Joy). Wasn’t in my paper this week, wondering if I will no longer receive or if it was just a mistake by the carrier – has never happened before. Anybody else have this happen?

As of about a month ago, the Meijer ad stopped coming (via mail) in my little Friday ad, but at the same time appeared in the Macomb Daily Sunday paper I subscribe to!? Doesn’t the online version come out on Fridays…though I prefer the paper copy any day.
Call Detroit News 800 number to let them know your paper was “incomplete” and they will delivery another full paper.
It’s not an incomplete paper issue. Meijer sent a notice late in 2011 that the Meijer ad would be included in the SUNDAY editions of the paper, not the Friday issue as it had previously.

Meier traditionally doubles “do not double” provided they start with a 5. I have been told that it is part of their policy, but I’m not sure about that. I do know that the U Scan machine has always doubled them for me…

For the first time when I used this Q last month, it didn’t double when they scanned it. Before they always doubled no matter what they said, but not anymore at my Meijer.
My store doesn’t double the “Do not double” coupons anymore either. It bums me out!
It might be because the deal is actually encoded in the barcode, because the Kleenex coupon only contains one barcode. Always in the past a coupon that started with a 5 doubled unless manually stopped by the cashier, like the old Kleenex coupon (I used the last batch that was out to buy several boxes at Meijer and they doubled). I just read a post today about switching to the new single barcode, and how most coupons will stop automatically doubling if it states “do not double.” I went back and checked after I posted earlier, and the coupon does have just one barcode now…
Looks like there might be some Mperks for the spaghettios/soup tomorrow making it an even better deal. May want to take a look before heading to the store.

I just saw on the Mperks site a coupon for $5 off of 3 bags of the Meijer frozen chicken breasts that are on sale this week. My question is, can you use that in conjunction with the 5% off of Meijer brand products? You can use this mPerks q but it increases the per unit price to $0.21. And only 2 of the $0.50/2 will double.
Pedigree dog food the small bags is on pricecut through the 29th. Unfortunately the bad economy has even hit my doggies. Had to switch from the $30 a month good stuff down to pedigree. They don’t seem to mind. I got the 4+ lb bag marked $4.89 minus $1 cpn from last weeks paper so $3.89 not bad.
I just bought the 3 bags of the meijer frozen chicken breast on sale. I had both the the $5 off when you bought 3 bags and 5% off meijer brands from mperks and it used both of them so total cost for 3 bags of chicken was $13.75.

I purchased 16 regular Beechnut Stage 2 fruits and veggies and received a $3 OYNO. I used a $2 coupon so I got 16 jars for $1.40. I will be going back for more!
I did the beechnut deal too! I bought 24 and used the $1/8 and $2/16. The $1/3 would not print for me.
For some reason though, the $2/16 would only take off $1.20. The cashier said it was because the coupon said “one coupon per purchase.” She still took off the extra $.80, but wasn’t happy about it. Is she right? I also got the $4 OYNO.
No, she’s not right. The coupon is just poorly coded and only took off the cost of 3.

Also watch your $1/4 coupons. Mine only took $.40 off (and did not double). It seems this is also poorly coded and only takes off the price of 1 jar

cheapest I can come up w/ is to buy 16 stage 2 at .40 + (4) stage 2 1/2 at .59 -print $2 off 16 at couponnetwork.com and $1.10 off 4 same place or coupons.com = 1.66 or .08 a jar or if you just buy 16 its .09 a jar.
Not a big difference. If you have 1 computer you can do the 20 jars 3 times- print (2) $2/16 and (2) $1/8 + (2) 1.10/4 at coupon network and 1.10/4 at coupons.com(only let me print 1) -should be a man. deal so it should roll- total $8.76 – $3.10 in coupons=$5.66 get back $4 oyno=1.66
The $1.10/4 is valid only on the Stage 2.5 foods, right?

Bummer on the Kraft EAsy Mac for me today. I didn’t read the above closely enough: “Buy 3 or more Kraft Easy Mac 4 pk CUPS and get $3 off instantly”. I was thinking you could buy either the box of packets OR the cups and still get the $3 off. But a no go, so just a warning to anyone else that might try that. Lots of other good deals though!! I had a cat print out a couple of weeks ago on the Pebbles treats for $1.25 off one box so got those for .75, not to mention all the great soup and snack deals! My understanding is if you buy a total of 3 of Easy Mac (4 pack cups), Koolaid Jammers, or Nabisco multipacks $3 comes off instantly. I bought 3 Jammers today and received $3 off ($1 off each). However, only ONE deal per transaction will work, so if you want to do multiples you will need to separate your orders.
Just buy 3 of each or totally 3 when you mix and match. If you need the nabisco multipax you can do 2 koolaid jammers and 1 multipack. However you need..just as long as you buy at least 3.
No, that won’t work – it’s 4 items and you’d pay full price for one. Choose 3 items – you’d be better off getting 3 Kool Aid Jammers with the mPerks discount, if you have it. Then doing one multipack and another 2 items later in another transaction.

She was responding to Sara (the first post) that you do NOT have to buy 4 items, only 3. If you bought 4, you would be paying full price for an extra item that was not part of the deal… hope that helps!

Watch the third .50 off Cambells Soup at Hand coupon. The first 2 doubled just fine but when I scanned the 3rd one it rang in at .25. The cashier came over and corrected it but said it was a fluke..I did the same trasaction 3 times and each time it the 3rd coupon only took off .25
I believe that Meijer only doubles the first 2 alike coupons up to .50.
I just looked at my receipt and it only took .25 off the thrid coupon instead of .50.
Its how the MPREK is works. It takes $1 off one item therefore the computer sees that you only bought 5 soups cause the 6th on was “free”

Today i bought 3 meijer naturals diced tomatoes and 3 m.n. stewed tomatoes and both my $.50 off 3 (i had 2, 1, for ea style) and my 5% off meijer brand mperks were applied! I ended up saving about .30 each off the regular price of .89 each. Not too bad for this chili-fanatic
so i was wondering if this was right i got (2) $1 off any 3 beech-nut items and (2) $1.10 off 4 beech nut stage 2.5 textures coupons. if i buy 7 beech nut stage 2 and 8 stage 2.5 it would be $7.52 then minus the $4.20 in coupons and the $3 oyno it would b $.32 makin them $.02 each!! is that right? and is the oyno for ne thing or more babyfood?

You are correct. Your baby food deal will work. All your catalinas will roll if you use them on different products. Catalinas will roll on the same products if they say manufacturer coupon. They will not roll on the same products if they say store coupon.
Umm for some reason I can’t log into either of my mperks accts. It says I have an invalid cell number or pin. I then tried to get my pin texted to my phones and it said neither of the numbers were in valid numbers. WTF!
Call the 1-800 number for mPerks customer service. Perhaps they can help.

Same thing is happening to me. I was logged in and clipping away when suddenly the site went down. So I tried to start over and log back in and it says my numbers aren’t valid. So, I think it is the website, not your numbers. Hope they get it fixed tonight so I can clip in the morning before I head to the store!

If you have a Kroger, they are doing $25 for transfers. As always, check with your store to make sure they are participating.

all the Nabisco snack packs tray packs and bx ones are$4. Are only the tray pks included in deal? Did two transactions and $3 only came off tray pks though bx packs were by display stating the deal. Must say im tired of being rushed through line and treated like im an inconvience. I feel like this only is only once my coupons are noticed. Very dissappointed lately with meijer because of this.

When using your Mperks for the Select Harvest and the “Good for Cooking” soups, be sure to check it comes off. I didn’t catch it, but when I got home and looked over my receipt I seen it didn’t take it off. So I just got on my Mperks account and sure enough the coupons are still sitting in my “clipped” section. Just a heads up.
Same thing just happened to me this evening; the Select Harvest mPerk didn’t come off, I had them cancel those out so I could check at home if I missed anything but I didn’t.
Guess I’ll have to print my mPerks, make the purchase, have it not come off and then take it to customer service… Sigh. Almost not worth it.
On the bright side, the Good for Cooking mPerk DID come off for me.
My mperks didn’t come off the Koolaid today, so I took my phone with the mperks I had loaded and they gave me the $1.00
Tried again yesterday and it did come off. I put in my mPerks # first, then scanned the coupon, maybe this made a difference. It then only gave me $.92 for the $1 coupon, but that was easily fixable. I’d rather ask the cashier for that then have a case of “I clipped an mPerks and it didn’t come off”.

I have had several issues with coupons at meijer. I watch my total very closely and what I’ve noticed recently is that the value of some coupons, change when the cashier hits the button for payment. The most recent was the Campbell’s soup at hand, where the 3rd coupon changed from $0.50 off when scanned to only $0.25. I’ve questioned the cashiers and they look at me like I’m speaking a language that they don’t understand. I don’t get anywhere at customer service because I no longer have the proof of the coupon. What options do I have to make sure that this doesn’t happen again?? Just once, I had a very nice cashier who actually contacted her manager to see why a $3 coupon adjusted itself down to $1.15. That particular issue was resolved, but I haven’t been that fortunate since. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!

I think I’ve seen the Soup-At-Hand issue before and that actually kinda sorta makes sense: if your Meijer only doubles up to 2 like coupons, this is the register’s way of dealing with that. It will actually still double the coupon, but halves its value before doing so.
There are other cases though, where coupons will be added back in or other strange stuff happens once the cashier hits that “total” button…
the sun-bird seasoning and soup mix coupon that is downloadable clearly states do not double on it..

Let’s say you have a $1/5 mPerks; the individual items are $.60. The way the mPerks comes off then, is it takes $.60 off the first item, then there’s $.40 left so it takes $.40 off the 2nd item.
Knowing that, the “limit reached” messages make sense to me, hope they do for you too, not being able to see your particular receipt.

The Kool Aid Jammers are advertised in the ad at $1.67. The $3 instant savings when you buy 3 was advertised on a sign in the store – but you’re right – it’s not in the weekly ad.
I did not see the Kool Aid Jammers $3/3 ad anywhere in Marysville, so THANK YOU for telling me about it. I got 3, but will go back and get at least 3 more, cant beat drinks under $1 per box! Even without the mperks it is $.67 a box!
