Kroger Catalina Promotions

Unless otherwise stated, all Catalina offers are limited to one per transaction. Read more about what to do if your Catalina coupon doesn’t print as expected.

Have you received a Catalina advertisement at a Kroger register? Please share in the comments!

KROGER COUPON POLICY

You can now view the Kroger coupon policy for Michigan online.
Please that Kroger’s coupon policy clearly states in each store ad: Limit 3 Manufacturer’s Coupons will be Doubled (up to $0.50) per Like Items Purchased.

NOTE on Printable Coupons: Some Kroger stores have been denying the redemption of any printable coupon over $1, so proceed with caution when using printable coupons. You can view/print the Kroger Print-at-Home Coupon Acceptance Policy here, which does not specifically restrict the use of printables over $1.

You WILL need a Kroger card to take advantage of these offers; sign up for one at the Customer Service desk if you do not have one!

KROGER SHOPPING TIPS

SELECT Kroger stores outside of Macomb (some stores in Saginaw and Genessee counties along with the Howell location – view a full list here or a map of stores here) will double manufacturer’s coupons up to $1.00! This can mean a great savings (and some potential free items each week). If your travels happen to take you north, check the Kroger ad (search by zip code) for the areas you’re passing through. You just might want to pack your coupons, too!

Take your own bags to Kroger and you’ll receive a credit for $0.05 per bag used on your shopping order. You may need to remind your cashier to deduct your credit, however, as the computer will not do it automatically!

Load digital coupons to your Kroger card before you shop: visit Cellfire, P&G eSaver, Shortcuts and Kroger Digital Coupons. Each website lists the e-coupons that can be loaded onto your Kroger Card so that you can save even more! E-coupons are limited to one use per card and will NOT double. Kroger digital coupons may NOT be combined with actual paper manufacturer coupons.

This post is a proud part of Be Centsable’s Grocery Gathering.

1 K June 13, 2011 at 2:10 AM

I have a P&G coupon for $1/1 for the Always Pads. My store would double that to $2, which would make them $.99 for me.

2 Kimmy June 16, 2011 at 8:59 AM

Thanks K!!!

3 Andrea June 13, 2011 at 7:46 AM

Has anyone found the Ronzoni Garden Delight Pasta at the Howell Kroger yet or any of the others that double to a $1? Last time I was their they did not have these yet, they said it could be a new item.

4 Cathy June 13, 2011 at 9:58 AM

No I asked the stock guy and he said they do not carry them there but might in the future.

5 muser June 13, 2011 at 11:58 AM

I never see this product at Kroger, but Meijer sells it regularly at $1.50, so $.50 after double coupon. Not as good as free, but still a great deal!!!

6 Becky June 13, 2011 at 12:41 PM

We have them in the flint, Grand Blanc, Swartz Creek area. Usually fully stocked

7 Mary June 13, 2011 at 4:20 PM

I have searched for them also. I do not believe that they are going to carry them. I know I got mine at Meijer when they had the sale awhile ago :)

8 dawn reeves June 17, 2011 at 1:26 PM

I believe the regular price for this at Meijer is $1.35 as that is what I paid for them a few weeks ago adn they were not on sale. After coupon .35 and I made a cold salad out if it with deli salami cut into thin stripes, diced cucumbers and tomatoes, onion, and sharp cheddar cheese. Pretty good!

9 Raeanne June 13, 2011 at 10:17 AM

Does anyone know if the Kellogg’s cereal sale is just this weeks sale or if continues?

10 Audrey June 13, 2011 at 10:49 AM

In Indiana the ronzoni garden delight was on clearance for .49 a box.

11 Shane June 13, 2011 at 11:34 AM

Just let everyone know the prices on the cereal for the cars deal chnage with the type and kind of cereal. For ex. the fiber plus is 3.19 after savings so just watch out…

12 Emily June 13, 2011 at 1:16 PM

huggies baby wipes are part of the buy 5 save $5 instantly. They are 1.49
after discount -use .50/1 paper=.49 (regular wipe tub size 64ct or so)

13 Andrea June 13, 2011 at 1:46 PM

Thanks so much! :) I will definitely get some today!

14 kari June 13, 2011 at 8:56 PM

thank you thank you! that is a score!!!

15 Tony June 15, 2011 at 4:10 PM

I found that the wipes are normally $2.99 but then will get dropped down to $1.99 with the buy 5 save $5. I only found a .50 off coupon so cost me .99 since the Krogers in Grand Blanc doubles.

16 R. Mac June 15, 2011 at 4:46 PM

I am about to get my coupons together now! We always need wipes. Decent stock now, but that’s a good price to me!

17 Jessica June 19, 2011 at 11:59 AM

They had that cars sale last week and it included the huggies wipes. I had the .50 off which doubled to a dollar. But instead of getting the wipes with the hard outer case which was $2.99 or $1.99 after the instant savings, I bought the other huggies wipes with the plastic (almost like a travel but way bigger) it had 72 wipes – more than the $2.99 one and it was on sale for $1.99 minus the $1.00 off instant savings and then with my doubled coupon it was FREE! I bought three since that is all that was left.

18 Jessica June 19, 2011 at 12:00 PM

That was on crooks rd. and south blvd. I think it’s auburn hills but it probably is troy

19 Starrlynne June 13, 2011 at 8:11 PM

Does the use your own bag discount count if I use recycled plastic grocery bags? Or only the fabric reusable? thanks

20 Nicole June 14, 2011 at 12:24 AM

I’ve wondered that too :) Thank you for asking!

21 FrugalBehind June 14, 2011 at 12:47 AM

If your Kroger still gives bag credits (some don’t anymore), both should work. Plastic bags (from Kroger or any other store) are easy in terms of determining how many credits you should get. When I ask for a bag credit for using my backpack, I always get it, but it’s kind of at the cashier’s discretion *how many* I will get. Usually just one :( , but then I don’t normally buy a lot at one time either :) .

22 Moe June 13, 2011 at 10:42 PM

Does anyone know if there is a limit on the B1G1 meat deals?

23 FrugalBehind June 14, 2011 at 12:56 AM

If there is, it’s not listed in the ad…

24 Gena June 14, 2011 at 1:31 AM

My kroger had the huggies 72 count soft pack wipes as part of the save $5 off 5 items sale. So 1.99 – $1 wyb5 – .50/1 huggies wipes coupon= free! :)

25 Kim June 14, 2011 at 2:11 PM

YUP! 26 and Romeo had it too…..gotta love free wipes!!!

26 R. Mac June 16, 2011 at 2:48 PM

ooohhh even better! Will keep my eye out!

27 Kimmy June 17, 2011 at 7:40 AM

Thanks Gena…my store in Owosso was out but I snagged a raincheck!!!

28 jen June 18, 2011 at 2:46 PM

South Lyon too! Thx for the heads up. Also, there was an end cap with the wipes near the dairy side. (the main section was out)

29 E June 14, 2011 at 7:50 AM

Does anyone know if there is a limit to the buy 5 get $5 off deal? Thanks!

30 Heather June 15, 2011 at 8:30 AM

I had 2 last night and the cashier didn’t know, but maybe not. I am in the Columbus, OH area.

31 Kim June 14, 2011 at 11:31 AM

Jolyn, do you know how I can search the coupon databases to include coupons that are expired? My Kroger accepts q’s up to a month past exp date, so it’s helpful for me to be able to research some older q’s to match with the sales. (i.e. I have a $1.50 wyb 5 Sobe q from a 5-1 insert that expired 5/14-but I can use it today for the buy 10 get 5 free)….

Thanks in advance!

32 Jolyn June 14, 2011 at 12:26 PM

The database at afullcup.com used to have that capability. I’ll have to look into it a little more.

33 Elisa June 16, 2011 at 11:40 PM

If you go to the coupon database on moneysavingmom.com, you can change the expiration date to include the past 3, 6, or 12 months.

34 Raeanne June 14, 2011 at 4:31 PM

Uncle Bens Ready Rice = 1.60
Ball Park Buns = 1.99

Owosso Krogers

35 Jolyn June 14, 2011 at 7:40 PM

Thanks! Are these regular prices? Sale prices?

36 Raeanne June 15, 2011 at 4:11 PM

Everything listed is a sale price, at least it didn’t say, “New Low Price” on any of the tags. The cereal is part of the Mega.

37 Kimmy June 16, 2011 at 9:05 AM

Thank you!!!

38 eden June 14, 2011 at 5:29 PM

how they double coupon?do i need to give them 2coupons for 1 item?im new on couponing and wanted to save since i always shop at kroger for my grocery.thanks

39 Jolyn June 14, 2011 at 5:40 PM

One coupon per item, but they’ll automatically deduct the value two times!

40 Peggy June 14, 2011 at 6:29 PM

I just got some “for our best customer” coupons from Kroger in the mail today. These say mq on them but have the Kroger logo on the bottom. Does anyone know if you can use these at Target or Meijer? Thanks.

41 Kim June 14, 2011 at 8:34 PM

I got these too….what I’ve done, and I’m not sure if it’s proper, but the Kroger logo is down at the bottom and if you cut it off, it doesn’t interfere with the barcode or any of the coupon data. It is truly a manufacturer coupon and starts with a 5 and has redemption instructions from the manufacturer.

It seems like less of a hassle to snip off the bottom part below the red line that has the Kroger logo on it, then just treat it as a regular man q.

Think that’s ok?

42 kathy r June 14, 2011 at 8:59 PM

I’ve used them at VG’s with Kroger logo (forgot to cut it off) on them and they said no problem, it’s a manufacturer’s coupon.

43 Jill June 16, 2011 at 3:45 PM

In the past I have asked before I use a coupon with a logo (to a different store) on it and almost always the response is that they accept competitors coupons. I’ve found that this works with places like Home Depot and Lowes also. =)

44 Gena June 14, 2011 at 7:59 PM

Peggy, technically yes but usually they won’t accept them

45 emily June 15, 2011 at 2:35 PM

The cereal on the above list of prices is after discount when you buy 5 items,
many cereals have 2 different sizes that are part of $5 deal but different prices.
The pasta is a sale and the ball park buns are a sale price, not sure about the
rest.

46 marie June 15, 2011 at 2:59 PM

Do you have to enter the “milk for a year” contest (mentioned above) every day or is your entry in there for each daily drawing once you enter it the first time?

47 Amanda June 16, 2011 at 3:01 PM

The Official Rules say you can enter as often as you like.

48 Kelsey June 15, 2011 at 9:03 PM

How do they do the P&G coupons if the P&G coupons are suppose to be in the papers on a holiday weekend? Will they do it the Sunday before or after? I haven’t came across this type of issue since I have been couponing. Thank you!

49 Toni June 17, 2011 at 8:22 PM

There are no coupon inserts on holiday weekends :)

50 Jolyn June 17, 2011 at 8:39 PM

P&G sometimes likes to mix things up and set their own schedule. They have put their insert in the paper on a holiday weekend (just to be difficult, perhaps?)

51 Kimmy June 16, 2011 at 9:19 AM

Oscar Mayer Cracker Combos are still on sale so if you have any coupons left they are free if your store doubles to $1.

Also Oral B floss picks are free (if your store doubles to $1) with the use of P&G coupon $1 off Oral-B Satin Glide Floss, or Glide Floss picks.

Welches Cocktail juice reg. $1.99 only .50 with coupon if your store doubles to $1.

52 Raeanne June 16, 2011 at 2:39 PM

Kimmy,
Did you happen to see how long the sale lasts on these?

53 Kimmy June 17, 2011 at 7:43 AM

Raeanne, I am pretty sure the Oscar Mayer sale goes til Aug 15.

54 Raeanne June 18, 2011 at 10:44 AM

Awesome! Thanks!

55 Kimmy June 16, 2011 at 10:01 AM

Zest 3 pk reg $2.19 only .19 with $1 off coupon if your store doubles up to $1

56 Meghan June 16, 2011 at 11:36 AM

What location is this deal at?
$1.99 Ronzoni Garden Delight Pasta (regular price)

It wasn’t on sale at Krogers on Schoenherr & M59. They had them only for regular price. I was bummed.

57 Amanda June 16, 2011 at 2:41 PM

Kroger digital e-coupons also list a Tampax tampon coupon for the same value as the P&G:
$2.99 Tampax Tampons, 20 ct
-$1.50/2 Tampax coupon (Kroger e-coupon)
$2.24 each when you buy 2 with coupon

58 Stacey June 16, 2011 at 7:55 PM

What do you consider a stock up price for the 32 oz Gatorade?

59 Jolyn June 16, 2011 at 9:03 PM

Personally, I like $0.50 or less, but it really depends how much you use. If you’re drinking a LOT of it, then $0.75 is pretty good. It’s all relative. Once you start keeping mental notes on the prices of the things you buy often, you’ll start to understand a good price when you see it!

60 Emily June 17, 2011 at 11:47 AM

It is in my house! That’s all my husband drinks, so I buy a lot of it. Although the more I buy, the more he drinks, so I’m not sure I’m saving much money… :-)

61 Whitney June 20, 2011 at 2:58 PM

Emily – Have you ever considered making your own? Afterall, it’s mostly just water, sugar, salt and flavoring. Lots and lots of recipes out there.

62 Emily June 17, 2011 at 11:45 AM

Does anyone know if there is a limit on the 5 items for $5 deal? If I buy 10 items would I get $10 off or does it just work once?

63 Marlana June 17, 2011 at 12:40 PM

I called yesturday and they said there wasnt a limit. This is in Davison

64 Toni June 18, 2011 at 5:45 PM

I went to the Howell Kroger today, and got only one deal. :o (

65 pamela June 17, 2011 at 9:12 PM

I just want to say thank you so much for all you do I am a single mom of 3 and just started coupons a few months ago and from reading all your matched and blogs here I am now able to stretch my money and now my children can honestly eat I now have food in my cabinets and I don’t run out before the end of the month. again thank you so much!

66 Karen June 19, 2011 at 11:57 AM
