* Macomb area Kroger stores currently double coupons up to $0.50. However, only 3 manufacturer’s coupons will be doubled per like items purchased.

Kroger Catalina Promotions

Unless otherwise stated, all Catalina offers are limited to one per transaction. Read more about what to do if your Catalina coupon doesn’t print as expected.

Have you received a Catalina advertisement at a Kroger register? Please share in the comments!

KROGER COUPON POLICY

You can now view the Kroger coupon policy for Michigan online.
Please that Kroger’s coupon policy clearly states in each store ad: Limit 3 Manufacturer’s Coupons will be Doubled (up to $0.50) per Like Items Purchased.

NOTE on Printable Coupons: Some Kroger stores have been denying the redemption of any printable coupon over $1, so proceed with caution when using printable coupons. You can view/print the Kroger Print-at-Home Coupon Acceptance Policy here, which does not specifically restrict the use of printables over $1.

You WILL need a Kroger card to take advantage of these offers; sign up for one at the Customer Service desk if you do not have one!

KROGER SHOPPING TIPS

SELECT Kroger stores outside of Macomb (some stores in Saginaw and Genessee counties along with the Howell location – view a full list here or a map of stores here) will double manufacturer’s coupons up to $1.00! This can mean a great savings (and some potential free items each week). If your travels happen to take you north, check the Kroger ad (search by zip code) for the areas you’re passing through. You just might want to pack your coupons, too!

Take your own bags to Kroger and you’ll receive a credit for $0.05 per bag used on your shopping order. You may need to remind your cashier to deduct your credit, however, as the computer will not do it automatically!

Load digital coupons to your Kroger card before you shop: visit Cellfire, P&G eSaver, Shortcuts and Kroger Digital Coupons. Each website lists the e-coupons that can be loaded onto your Kroger Card so that you can save even more! E-coupons are limited to one use per card and will NOT double. Kroger digital coupons may NOT be combined with actual paper manufacturer coupons.

4 Cori Morrison May 15, 2011 at 10:04 PM

I went to Kroger tonight and got Hormel Compleats for $.79/each with $1.00/1 coupon, Ritz Crackerfuls $.99 with $1.00/1, Crunch &Munch family size boxes for $1.09 after $1.00/1. Lots of good sales (my store doubles to $1.00), but they were out of several things as well!

5 Casey May 16, 2011 at 8:05 AM

Which Kroger doubles to $1.00?

6 Shelley May 16, 2011 at 8:10 AM

The Davison store is one of the locations that doubles to $1.00.

7 Brandi May 16, 2011 at 10:10 AM

Read under ‘Kroger shopping tips’. There are links you can click on to see locations. Every week people post ‘where are the krogers that double to $1′ lol

8 Collette May 16, 2011 at 4:13 PM

All krogers double to $1.00 in Genesee County

9 Tonya May 16, 2011 at 7:36 PM

11 Amber May 22, 2011 at 2:51 PM

In Saginaw Texas?

12 Kristin May 15, 2011 at 10:37 PM

I thought there was a new ad for this week… ?
I went on to the Kroger website and it shows different items on sale in their flyer. Do you have the matchups for the new ad?

13 Jolyn May 17, 2011 at 3:13 PM

Which area/zip are you viewing the ad for? I didn’t look online this week, but got this ad in print for my local store.

Many items aren’t advertised and are only found in store – and Kroger likes to post them once in the ad, though they’ll continue for a few weeks. Many items have repeated from last week, but you’ll notice new produce/meat/frozen food mega event items, along with additional items.

14 Mary May 15, 2011 at 10:39 PM

New catalina starting Monday:
Get $10 OYNO wyb $25 worth of Energizer products in a single transaction. Participating Energizer products include: all Schick products, all Playtex Gentle Glide and Sport tampons, all Banana Boat, alll Hawaiian Tropic products, all Playtex infant care products, all Energizer Brand batteries or lights, all Wet Ones products, alll Skintimate products and all Edge products.
Offer valid 5/15/11 – 6/4/11.

15 Jolyn May 17, 2011 at 3:14 PM

My store had this posted, but only through May 29. (?) I’m wondering how that would work with the Hawaiian Tropic/Banana Boat B1G1 offer this week – could make for a sweet deal. Let me know if anyone tries it!

16 caroline May 15, 2011 at 10:52 PM

I’m jealous of you all who still have Krogers who double and triple coupons. Ours already quit. :(

17 Shelley May 16, 2011 at 8:17 AM

Ah that would be disappointing, sorry to hear that Caroline. Which location did you go to that quit? The % of savings certainly increase with stores that double and triple coupons. With being a family of 6, it is well worth my time and gas to make the trek most weeks.

18 cathy May 16, 2011 at 12:27 PM

Most of the Krogers that no longer double sale product 20% – 30% cheaper than the stores that double.

19 tpv May 16, 2011 at 8:30 AM

Thanks for the match ups. I was wondering if the coupons from the catalina machine can be used at others stores such as Meijer when they say “redeemable at Kroger” but do not say redeem only at Kroger? Anyone know?

20 Mary May 16, 2011 at 9:44 AM

Technically, yes. Realistically, no. While catalinas are mfg coupons and will scan at alternate retailers, most cashiers will not allow them & our efforts to “educate” them in their checkout lanes are generally not well-received.
Walmart will ad-match and accept catalinas from competitors. Be sure to download & take a copy of their policy with you: http://walmartstores.com/7655.aspx

21 Shelley May 16, 2011 at 8:55 AM

Stouffer’s Family Size Entree coupon is no longer available :(

22 R. Mac May 17, 2011 at 9:05 PM

There is a 1.00/1 coupon in one of the older issues of all you that is good through the end of the month.

23 Shelley May 18, 2011 at 11:12 AM

Thanks, found it!!

24 coupon guy May 16, 2011 at 9:31 AM

are the rest of you able to find the Better Oats Oatmeal in your local kroger? i’ve checked 3 separate locations near me and none of them carry this product…. :(

25 Mary May 16, 2011 at 9:49 AM

Howell Kroger has had many varieties for many months. It’s on the higher shelves with the other instant oatmeals. Target & VGs also sell it.

26 Shelley May 16, 2011 at 1:57 PM

The Davidson location carries it and it is located with the Quaker instand oat boxes. It is quite a different shape package and is smaller so maybe you just missed it. Good luck!

27 Marianne May 16, 2011 at 2:53 PM

Our store they are with the Quaker too, easy to miss their box is very space saving, very small.

28 shannon May 16, 2011 at 1:21 PM

Is it ok to use a free product coupon on catalina deals for example I have a free Pull-Ups coupon for the huggies deal?

29 Jolyn May 16, 2011 at 1:46 PM

Yes!

30 Kristin May 17, 2011 at 9:07 AM

Bummer. I thought by now you would have had the NEW Kroger ad for THIS week posted with the coupon match ups…. =( Guess I’ll have to do it the old fashioned way! (BTW, this is LAST weeks info. The new Kroger ad has totally different deals!)

31 Kelly May 17, 2011 at 1:55 PM

This matchup goes along with my ad that I got in the mail for this week. Are you not in Michigan??

32 Jamie May 17, 2011 at 9:35 PM

I know I for sure couldn’t/wouldn’t want to do my own matchup!! Quite often there are additional matchups that aren’t even in the ad, so it may not look like it’s “correct”. I live and die by this site!! I am so grateful for ALL you do Jolyn!! Keep it up! :)

33 Whitney May 18, 2011 at 11:06 AM

I agree. Not sure what that comment was about. These matchups ARE current.

34 Christy May 17, 2011 at 2:02 PM

If you’ve decided to do your own matchup, I’m guessing by now you’ve figured out that it is this weeks (May 16-22) Kroger ad matchup.

There are some items that either have recent released coupons to match or gone on a price drop with coupons to match that have been rolled over from the prior weeks but this is a different ad from last week. My flyer shows there’s a Frozen Food Sale and Whole Fryer Chicken is on sale, which is exactly what has been matchup up here. Maybe your not looking at the Detroit MI Ad?

Thanks Jolyn, I appreciate not having to spend hours to do my own matchups anymore. The weeks’ sales would be over by the time I finished. ;)

35 Lucinda May 17, 2011 at 12:38 PM

My Korger on the west side of Lansing had some of the Pampers Kandoo wipes (42 count) for sale as 10 for 10 so I got mine free!

36 Lisa May 17, 2011 at 1:03 PM

^^^ Really?? Thanks for all you do Jolyn!!

At my Kroger (16 & Crocker) I found kandoo refills wipes 10/$10 so I used the $1.00 off any kando product and got them free. I must have used the other kandoo wipes coupon on wipes elsewhere, but not sure if those worke don refills anyway. I alos cant’f find ANY aquafresh toothbrushes?! Not even adult. They were pretty scarce on toothrbushes but none of the empty spots said aquafresh either. Just curious if anyone else has been able to find them and if I am just not looking hard enough.

37 Jolyn May 17, 2011 at 3:16 PM

I think the size of the store affects what they carry. The small store near me doesn’t carry Aquafresh or Reach toothbrushes at all. A larger location (with pharmacy) had both in regular stock.

38 Kim May 17, 2011 at 7:40 PM

I found the toothbrushes today at the Kroger on Corunna Road in Flint.

39 Lisa May 18, 2011 at 11:14 AM

Yeah, they were there, plainer than day yesterday :-0 I swore I looked for an empty “$1.50″ spot, but they were there. About 5 of them-lol Guess that’s what happen when you shop w/ a 5 year old and a 2 year old!! I was by myself the next day. And good for you to be able to read my typos. I have a teaching degree, really! ;)

40 Tracie May 17, 2011 at 1:09 PM

I don’t really know why everyone is saying this is the wrong add. This is what I see when I logon to Kroger’s website, and it’s what was emailed to me for the ad preview. I had to check to make sure it wasn’t wrong so I don’t make my list incorrectly, but this is right for me at least.

41 Tracie May 17, 2011 at 1:10 PM

I shouldn’t say everyone, but a few people are saying it’s wrong. I wonder what website you are getting the ad from, or if it’s the actual ad that you are looking at.

42 Kimmy May 17, 2011 at 1:55 PM

The matchups posted here are without a doubt from the current ad that I have (May16-22). Thanks Joyln for saving my family sooo much money!!!

43 Kelly May 17, 2011 at 1:55 PM

It matches mine, Tracie :D

44 Whitney May 18, 2011 at 11:19 AM

I think it was the same person (same name) who posted twice complaining about it.

45 Shannon May 17, 2011 at 5:36 PM

I also found Sure Deodarant 2/$3. With the coupon from this Sundays paper for $1 off makes it 50c or Free for me because my store doubles to $1!

46 Nicole May 21, 2011 at 8:20 AM

where is that coupon?>

47 Christine May 17, 2011 at 10:00 PM

I found that Arm & Hammer laundry detergent is on sale as well – normally $6.39. On sale for 3.99 plus $1/2 coupon making each bottle $3.49. Savings of about 45% off.

48 Jen May 18, 2011 at 12:29 PM

Dumb question… I’m new. :) When its the 10 mega sale- do you have to buy 10 DIFFERENT items or 10 items off that list?

49 Jolyn May 18, 2011 at 1:16 PM

We were all new once – there are no dumb questions! :)

Mix and match 10 total items off the list (you’ll find more in the store also).

50 nascarcutie07 May 18, 2011 at 1:19 PM

I seen get 3.00 oyno when you buy 15.00 in huggies products , does that include baby wipes ??

Yes, all Huggies products. Wipes are $2.50 this week.

When you bring your own bags for the .05 credit, can those be any bags or do they have to be store specific? For instance I have a couple meijer bags, can I take those to Kroger to use too? Thanks!

Yes, any bag!

If you don’t have the $1.25 5/1 SS California Pizza Kitchen coupon, our Kroger has blinkies for the same amount, right on the freezer door.

Same for the $0.50 (says do not double) coupon for New York Garlic Bread.

The prices at my Kroger/Scotts here in Fort Wayne, IN are higher than your matchups. I am still new and been watching for awhile now – I guess I will just have to stick to Meijer – those are right on. Thanks for all you do!

I tried to use a coupon for 0.55 off eggs with the purchase of any Kikkoman product along with the printable coupons for $1.00 off any Kikkoman product. The cashier said I couldn’t use both of them so I didn’t get the eggs. Was I wrong in thinking that I could use the coupon for the Kikkoman bread crumbs and also use the other one toward the eggs?

60 Sandi May 21, 2011 at 1:09 PM

I have done this before. I guess it depends on the cashier.

63 Nicole May 21, 2011 at 8:19 AM

I actually bought 20 cans of Kool aid at Kroger for .29 cents each. I got a $1.00 of coupon on ebay! Paid only 2.00 for 20

Will you be rolling out the checklist for the Kroger matchups like you did for VGs? I really enjoy the feature and it would be very, very helpful!

65 Carolyn May 21, 2011 at 5:34 PM

Just wanted to let you know that VG’s regular price on the Kikkoman Panko Bread Crumbs is $2.19 but the Coupon doubles there an its only .19 cents :)

oyno coupons will roll if they say manufacturer coupon at top, will not roll if they say store coupon, didnt do huggies deal yet so I dont
know what the coupon says.
butterfinger, nestle are .50 thru 6/5
you cant use 2 manufacturer coupons on one item, so for kikkoman
you only had 1 kikkoman and 2 coupons, you can do this at rite aid
and cvs .
