You can look forward to FOUR COUPON INSERTS in the Sunday Paper this weekend: 2 SmartSource inserts, 1 RedPlum insert and 1 Procter & Gamble insert. Though not confirmed, our region may also receive separate PepsiCo and Target coupon inserts! You may want to purchase extra newspapers, especially if you find there are a number of coupons you’ll use.
Remember that coupon selection and values vary according to region, so our paper might not include these exact coupons (though it’s a close estimate). In general, newspapers with larger circulation will have better coupons, but you’ll want to check the papers in your area to be sure.
Some coupons that may be of interest include:
- $0.50/1 Betty Crocker Supreme Brownie or Dessert Bar Mix any
- $3.00/1 Bic Soleil Disposable or Soleil System Razor
- $0.75/1 Colgate Toothpaste 4 oz or larger
- $1.00/1 Energizer Brand Batteries or Flashlight
- $0.55/1 Johnsonville Brats, Italian Sausage or Smoked or Cooked Sausage
- $0.50/2 Nestle Single Bars 1.5-2.1 oz
- $1.00/2 Nestle Bars, Sandwiches, Nestle Drumsticks or Push-Up Frozen Snacks 4 ct+
- $1.50/1 Pampers Diapers or Pants
- $0.50/1 Pampers Wipes
- $0.55/1 Welch’s Jam, Jelly or Spread any size/flavor
- $1.00/1 Zest Bar/Body Wash or Safeguard bar/liquid hand soap
If you’d rather not pay $1.50 (or more) for extra papers/coupon inserts, you may want to consider these ideas:
- Check your local Dollar Store – they may still be selling papers for $1.00 each, even after Sunday has passed. Some dollar stores have stopped carrying them recently, but Dollar Tree stores still have them available (call your store to confirm).
- Ask your friends, coworkers and family members for coupons they’re not using.
- Find a friend (or group of friends) willing to trade coupons with you.
There are more coupons coming this weekend than listed above! Take a look at the complete list available at Sunday Coupon Preview – do you see any coupons that could lead to great deals in the future!? Please share!
Don’t forget to check the printable coupon sites as well. New savings are arriving daily:

I live in the detroit area (western suburb) and was able to get the Sunday inserts today (Friday) from a friendly attendant at my local gas station. There were 2 SS, 1 RP, 1 P&G and the special Target coupon insert too!
Elisha says
Do the redplum and smartsource printable coupon sites have the same coupons as the inserts?
Jolyn says
A few RedPlum printables will be identical to what you’ll find in the inserts. Otherwise, they’re not necessarily the same, though it varies week to week. It’s not as easy as buying from the paper OR printing the exact same coupons online. They make sure they don’t put newspapers out of business!

I’m just curious Lisa, how did you get the Sun. inserts 2 days before the paper came out? I’m new to this, just wondered if there’s something I didn’t know.
