_____________________________________________

* Macomb area Kroger stores currently double coupons up to $0.50. However, only 3 manufacturer’s coupons will be doubled per like items purchased.

View this week’s complete Kroger Ad.

KROGER COUPON POLICY

You can now view the Kroger coupon policy for Michigan online.
Please that Kroger’s coupon policy clearly states in each store ad: Limit 3 Manufacturer’s Coupons will be Doubled (up to $0.50) per Like Items Purchased.

NOTE on Printable Coupons: Some Kroger stores have been denying the redemption of any printable coupon over $1, so proceed with caution when using printable coupons. You can view/print the Kroger Print-at-Home Coupon Acceptance Policy here, which does not specifically restrict the use of printables over $1.

You WILL need a Kroger card to take advantage of these offers; sign up for one at the Customer Service desk if you do not have one!

KROGER SHOPPING TIPS

SELECT Kroger stores outside of Macomb (some stores in Saginaw and Genessee counties along with the Howell location – view a full list here) will double manufacturer’s coupons up to $1.00! This can mean a great savings (and some potential free items each week). If your travels happen to take you north, check the Kroger ad (search by zip code) for the areas you’re passing through. You just might want to pack your coupons, too!

Take your own bags to Kroger and you’ll receive a credit for $0.05 per bag used on your shopping order. You may need to remind your cashier to deduct your credit, however, as the computer will not do it automatically!

Load digital coupons to your Kroger card before you shop: visit Cellfire, P&G eSaver, Shortcuts and Kroger Digital Coupons. Each website lists the e-coupons that can be loaded onto your Kroger Card so that you can save even more! E-coupons are limited to one use per card and will NOT double. Kroger digital coupons may NOT be combined with actual paper manufacturer coupons.

Are you not including the savings for the additional .30 on your next purchase, which makes things even a better deal?

Thanks.

2 Jolyn February 14, 2011 at 7:39 AM

Right – I’ve shown it in a couple scenarios, but I’m focusing on what you’d have to pay out of pocket. Each item would be $0.30 less after the Catalina!

3 Amy February 14, 2011 at 10:52 AM

I only got the $.30 of 10 or $3.00. I didn’t recieve the $3.00 catalina.

4 Bobbi February 19, 2011 at 10:48 PM

I actually got a great deal today with a $3.00 catalina coupon. I bought 10 gatorades for $.69 (after the $.30 off when you buy 10), and I used my $3.00 from the day before so I only paid $3.90 for them. THEN, with that, I got another $3.00 catalina and used that on the big Propels that also had a coupon on the bottle for buy 2, save $1.00. They were priced at $1.29 ea. Walked out only paying $1.74 for the 6 bottles of Propel. My daughter was shocked and said she now believes in the coupon clipping!!

5 kay February 13, 2011 at 7:45 PM

yay! i just came home tonight and said, i have got to find a good sale on D. Coke 2 liters. i have a bunch of qpons that were hang tags for $1/3 2liters. $$maker w/ the catalina!

6 kay February 13, 2011 at 7:47 PM

ok, i’m a dork….but still a really really good deal.

7 Elisha Jenkins February 18, 2011 at 9:02 AM

aren’t we all :D

8 Mary February 13, 2011 at 8:49 PM

There’s a new Daytona 500 instant win game. I didn’t win anything last time, but I’ll keep trying!
here’s the game: http://www.softcoin.com/Sites/Kroger_Daytona/Page/HomePage

9 Kristen February 13, 2011 at 10:14 PM

I just won Klondike bars. Was very excited since I can’t get the prize I won in the last game, no store within 50 miles carries it.

10 Kendra February 13, 2011 at 10:02 PM

You can get the Colgate for FREE with today’s SS, 50/1.

11 Sarah February 14, 2011 at 11:09 AM

Anyone know where Kroger stocks the Kangaroo Salad Pockets? I scoured 2 Krogers last week with no luck. When I asked several stock people they looked at me like I was crazy–”Kangaroo Pockets???”

12 kristine February 14, 2011 at 3:56 PM

I found them with the breads by the bakery.

13 Mary February 14, 2011 at 12:57 PM

good coffee-mate catalina if your Kroger doubles up to $1:
buy 2 get $1, 3 get $2, 4 get $3
Here’s what I believe to be the best deal:
32oz is part of mega sale, $2.99ea
$11.96 Buy 4
-$1.20 mega instant savings
-$1.20 mega cat savings oyno
-3.00 coupon (.75/1 printable, use 2)
-2.00 coupon ($1/2 RP?)
-3.00 oyno cat
=.39 each after coupons and catalinas ($1.02 ea if coupons don’t double)
cat is valid thru 2/20

14 Marianne February 14, 2011 at 3:37 PM

Thanks for pointing that out!
When I originally saw the ad posted in other areas I was super excited, then I got our local ad with out higher prices and I may just go for the creamer.
Bryers Ice cream was posted at 2.69 ours is 3.99-what a price difference. Same with the Pop Tarts, even buying the 12 pack with the Mega is the same price (if your store doubles $1) as the 8 packs.

15 Debbie Franklin February 14, 2011 at 2:06 PM

Anybody know how much Kroger has Gain dryer sheets for? Just curious! Thanks

16 Maggie February 14, 2011 at 10:26 PM

I just bough the gain dryer sheets with a SS qpon at Wal-mart. I believe they were $3.24 (for 80 count), so with the qpon that’s $.24!!!

17 Debbie Franklin February 15, 2011 at 7:49 AM

Thanks!

18 Heidi February 16, 2011 at 12:51 AM

Yeah, that’s cheaper at first than at Meijer, but if you buy 2 or more Gain products at Meijer, you get a $3.00 off your next purchase coupon at the register! They’re on sale for $3.99 a box, so you can get 2 for $1.98, then get the $3.00 coupon!

19 Lucy A February 14, 2011 at 5:02 PM

My granddaughter loves it when I make piggies in a blanket for her. I use the Banquet sausages and boil them for a little bit in a pan to get them thawed, warmed up a bit, and some of the fat boiled out. Then I wrap each of them in a Pillsbury Crescent roll and bake according to directions. Fast and easy with a vegetable for a quick kid’s favorite meal. (I like them too).

20 Deanna February 15, 2011 at 12:37 PM

Kroger in Davison doesn’t seem to carry the Gain dryer sheets :(

21 Jenesa February 15, 2011 at 1:25 PM

I just spoke to the Scan Coordinator (?) at my local Kroger (in Saginaw) and she told me that there is no limit to how many groups of 10 can be purchased in a single transaction . . . customers will receive a $3 coupon for each group (in addition to the $3 instantly). You can use the coupons on future purchases of 10 (it will roll), and you can redeem multiple $3 coupons in one transaction. She also said the savings event would be going for two weeks. HTH : )

22 Jolyn February 15, 2011 at 3:45 PM

Thanks so much for the research, Jenesa!

23 Shari February 16, 2011 at 2:29 AM

CAUTION:
I was unable to redeem two $3 earned coupons in one transaction. The register beeped and a message told the cashier I could only use ONE. Tried it twice, on a 10-item order and a 20-item order.

24 Shari February 16, 2011 at 2:30 AM

Should also mention Location = Flint area.

25 Kristen February 16, 2011 at 4:02 PM

Redeemed the first without a problem. Cashier had to manually input the 2nd for me.

26 Ben February 16, 2011 at 5:16 PM

I was at the Kroger on belsay road and had this happen but after I voiced my concern and explained how it couldn’t possibly be correct because then the people who bought 100 items would have to come back 10 times in the next 2 weeks. They realized it must be a glitch and gave me 6.36 cash for 2 of them :) Stick to your ground and explain that the coupon is part of the sale and hopefully they will force it through.

27 mom February 15, 2011 at 4:23 PM

can I combine a kroger digital coupon with a manufacturer coupon…or do they only allow 1 of these per item?

28 Jessica Shampine February 16, 2011 at 1:41 PM

You can combine kroger digital coupons with manufatcurer coupons, but not the catalinas.

29 mom February 15, 2011 at 4:26 PM

sorry! just looked through the kroger rules again and answered my own question!

30 Kristen February 16, 2011 at 9:43 AM

My 5 pack of Mac and Cheese had a peelie on it for 10 free Kool Aid packs. Of course, I didn’t notice it until I got home :(

31 Jessica Shampine February 16, 2011 at 1:40 PM

Here is a link to print a coupon for carefree pads after registering…
http://www.carefreeliners.com/carefreeliners/special
It says that it will only print 1, but if you right click in the window and click back it will print two like any other bricks coupon. =)

32 Elisha Jenkins February 18, 2011 at 9:02 AM

Thank you for that :D

If your Kroger doubles to $1 Wishbone salad dressing is $2.79. Use the $1 off cpn to make it .79! Sorry I don’t remember what date that cpn came out but it was recent.

43 Jolyn February 16, 2011 at 8:19 PM

It’s clearly in the ad – you’re right for thinking that they have to honor it!
