_____________________________________________

*DOUBLE COUPONS – This deal requires a coupon to DOUBLE at Meijer. Note that Metro Detroit Meijer stores will double only 2 identical coupons (up to $0.50) per transaction. See additional notes below.

COLOR-CODED DEALS for your convenience – final prices are listed with

  • FREE items in red
  • STOCK UP prices in green
  • AVERAGE savings in black (purchase these items only if needed)

MEIJER COUPON POLICY

View Meijer’s official coupon policy online (print it if needed for reference!).

  • Metro Detroit Meijer stores will double manufacturer coupons up to $0.50, but no more than 2 identical coupons per transaction. Additional identical coupons and any store coupons will be redeemed at face value. You may want to call your location before shopping to verify. For best savings on multiple items with coupons that will double, divide your order into multiple transactions (this is most easily done at the U-scan).
  • You can print 2 copies of each printable coupon per computer, with some exceptions. Use your back button and refresh the screen if necessary or return to the original coupon link. There is no limit on the amount of Meijer Mealbox store coupons you may print.
  • When a particular advertised sale item is out of stock, be sure to ask your cashier or a customer service assistant for a raincheck.

MEIJER MEALBOX STORE COUPONS

You may want to print a copy of the Meijer Mealbox store policy and keep it with your shopping list to show your cashier (in case they aren’t familiar with corporate policy):

1.) Mealbox coupons may be used in addition to manufacturer coupons.

2.) Mealbox coupons may be used each time a condition is met, which could be multiple times per transaction. (For example: a coupon for $1.00 off 2 soups can be used multiple times if you have a coupon printed and the number of soups purchased matches, i.e. 2 coupons = 4 soups.)

3.) Mealbox coupons cannot be doubled or tripled at any time.

4.) Stores have the right to limit the quantity of items to normal retail purchases per transaction.

Is the glade catalina over?

2 Jolyn September 11, 2010 at 9:44 AM

The Glade Catalina (Buy 2 Glade 4 oz Candles, get $2.00) continues through Oct 2, but the sale price on the candles ended with last week’s sale.

Jolyn-

I’ve noticed your warnings about the mealbox coupons and I’ve had to tell cashiers that a coupon didn’t deduct properly (especially $5 off $95 meijer coupons). I’ve gone to customer service after paying to ask about this and they’ve said look at the top of your receipt for the total amount you saved. Has anyone else had a hard time deciphering the discount summary at the top of your meijer receipt with the sale savings/coupon savings/non-sale savings/etc? There have been several times that I’m pretty sure I DIDN’T get the correct savings but couldn’t figure it out enough to argue. :-(

4 stacy September 11, 2010 at 10:12 AM

I know if a mealbox has deducted properly under each item should list the coupon amount. For instance, for the ziploc bags it might look like this
ziploc bags $2.48
>> -.75
ziploc bags $1.89
>>-.75
Or if you bought the same bags it would look like this
2@ 1.89 ziploc bags
>>-.75
>>-.75
As for a meijer coupon $ off a purchase price, it should state $5 off on the bottom of the reciept or itemize each product with a discount shown above.
I always point out the total before EACH meijer discount coupon and EACH mealbox coupon to the cashier so we can BOTH watch the total drop properly.

5 Jolyn September 11, 2010 at 10:20 AM

Great explanation, Stacy!

Kirsten, remember that Mealbox coupon will always scan at $0.00, which is confusing. You need to actively watch your subtotal when a Mealbox coupon is scanned. If the subtotal doesn’t change, your Mealbox coupon didn’t work and needs to be manually entered. The cashier should be able to move up the screen to the item in question to see that the Meijer coupon didn’t deduct underneath the line item.

6 Andrea September 12, 2010 at 1:32 PM

I know what you mean. I personally took out a calculator and showed the customer service desk it wasn’t deducting properly because they didn’t get it either. I showed them though that the last visit it was ADDING money instead of subtracting and they fixed it and gave me my money back.

7 Dianne September 12, 2010 at 10:03 PM

To make sure that I’m not getting overcharged I always go to the U-Scan. It may take a bit longer but you know how much each item costs as you scan it.

8 Mike September 14, 2010 at 4:18 PM

Yes make sure you watch the screen when the mealbox coupon is scanned. It should kind of scroll up the screen for a brief second when it does scan correctly. When it doesn’t scan correctly the screen will not scroll up for a brief second, it will just kind of blink. Some cashiers will notice it not scanning but most won’t notice it.

9 Jennifer Reddeman September 11, 2010 at 10:14 AM

I got a catalina about Hamburger helper. Between 9/5 and 10/6 buy any 3 hamburger helper home-cooked skillet meals get $1.50, buy 4 get $2, buy 5 or more get $3 off your next hamburger, chicken or tuna purchase. This goes nicely with the sale.

10 Jolyn September 11, 2010 at 10:17 AM

Thanks so much, Jennifer! I’ll add that!

11 Melissa September 11, 2010 at 10:27 AM

Perhaps it’s me but I seem to be reading two different things in regards to the catalina for boxed Green Giant vegetables.
In the sale part it seems to read buy 3 get $2, but at the bottom where you list the catalinas it says 4 get $1, buy 6 get $2. Which is correct?

Thanks

12 Jolyn September 11, 2010 at 10:34 AM

You ARE reading two different things. At this point, I’m not sure which is correct. Although I had previously recorded a Green Giant Catalina promotion, Meijer has this info listed on the front page of this weeks’ ad:

$0.99 Green Giant Vegetables
Buy 3 or more, get $2 off your next shopping trip via Meijer Custom Coupon. Limit one coupon per transaction.

Right now, I’m going with what’s stated in the ad – at least until they post an ad correction in the store – or we discover that something different is printing.

13 Leslie K. September 12, 2010 at 9:02 AM

I tried to do the Green Giant deal today, and indeed there is an ad correction…NO $2 CAT WHEN YOU BUY THREE, as the ad states. The replacement sinage didn’t inclucde anything about the catalina, so was extremely unclear. I wasn’t aware of the other listing for buy four or six, so I can’t comment on if those are still working properly. Certainly not as good of a deal as we all hoped!

14 KELLY September 12, 2010 at 12:41 PM

I didn’t get a catalina for the Green Giant when I went early this morning (before I saw the follow up) and customer service wrote me a catalina since it stated on the front of the ad.

15 Lucy A September 13, 2010 at 1:21 PM

I just purchased 2 transactions of 3 Green Giant boxed vegetables each at Meijer today. The Commerce store where I went had and AD notice stating that Asparagus was not included in the Green Giant sale, but nothing else. On my first transaction I received a $2 OYNO catalina that was good on a subsequent purchase of $7 in the produce department. The second time I purchased the 3 boxes I did not receive any catalina coupons. When I went to the customer service counter they filled in a $2 ONYO manual coupon for me. The man at the desk mentioned to the store manager that they would need to call the Catalina company because he had had to fill out 5 or 6 of them yesterday. Maybe when I go back they will have an AD correction posted? I also received a tape stating the catalina promotion from 9/5 thru 10/6 on the Green Giant boxed (Buy 4 get $1, 6 get $2, 8 or more get $3.

16 Karen September 15, 2010 at 12:45 PM

When I printed the Green Giant coupon and the Betty Crocker Potatoes, the both say DO NOT DOUBLE!!!!! I tried to print from both sites. Does anybody else have this problem or is it just me???

17 Louann September 17, 2010 at 10:53 PM

Karen, I hope you complained via the Betty Crocker site, if that’s where you printed from. I think if they get a lot of complaints, they would stop putting “do not double” on them. I told General Mills I wasted ink and paper because they didn’t inform me ahead of time that the coupon from their site wasn’t going to be able to be doubled, so now I most likely will not use what I printed. I asked why they care if a store wants to give me more money for their coupon, but they ignored that part when they wrote back to tell me they would share my comments with the appropriate department. I am hoping to get another reply from whatever department they sent it to.

18 Heidi September 15, 2010 at 2:11 PM

When I was at Meijer last Sun., the CAT didn’t print for the Gr. Giant veg., but I asked the cashier (I was at U-scan) and she said they were having problems w/ it and went to get me a $2 ticket from customer service. It says right on the front page of their ad, so they didn’t have a problem honoring it.

19 tracey September 15, 2010 at 6:52 PM

There are two deals going on right now for the boxed vegies. so they are both correct

20 Robin September 11, 2010 at 10:56 AM

I do not believe the MMB on the Progresson would be good on the Classic version of the Soup. I believe it is for Traditonal, High Fiber and Reduced Sodium if my memory serves me correct. You may want to proceed with caution on that one…..

21 laura September 11, 2010 at 3:12 PM

Are the Mike Sells chips in a different isle than the regular chips? We could not find them at the Lenox store. Anyone know?

22 Amy September 12, 2010 at 5:05 PM

I could not find them at the 26 mile and Van Dyke store for the longest time. I finally asked one of the stockers and he told me that they did not carry Mike Sells. I ended up using my coupons at Kroger and still got a great deal ($0.97)

23 laura September 13, 2010 at 7:32 AM

Thanks Amy!

24 Mike September 14, 2010 at 4:19 PM

Meijers on Auburn Rd in Rochester Hills does not carry Mike Sells but Kroger carries them and they are still on sale at Kroger too for even cheaper. :)

I saw a sign in my Meijer (Central Ohio, but should be the same as Michigan because our sales always match up) for another catalina…buy 2 General Foods International Coffees & get a $1 checkout coupon good on your next order. Valid September 5-October 2. Hopefully we’ll see a good sale & coupon to go with it!

Thanks so much for all the hard work you put into doing the match-ups each week!! I very, very much appreciate it!!

28 KATHY September 11, 2010 at 6:48 PM

Today I noticed that Meijer’s has the 5 packs of Kraft Mac n Cheese with free Capri Sun stickers on them, buy four packs and get four free Capri’s then you’ll get the $2.00 oyno. Let’s hope for a mealbox coupon to sweeten the deal like last time. These are great donations too! Yesterday, I took a bunch of food to a local pantry and their shelves where pretty empty. Sad sign of the times for sure!

29 Brenda September 11, 2010 at 7:29 PM

Don’t know if your ad has it on the back, but our Central, Ohio ad has a long list of catalinas. If your ad doesn’t list these, I’d be happy to forward them. It doesn’t state how long they are going on. Also, I have a question for the Meijer Johnsonville Brats coupon. Is that an available coupon for everyone or meant just for the 15055 Hall Rd. location? I tried putting in my store, but could not get the same coupon to come up. Just want to make sure I can use it at my store in Ohio. Thanks!

30 Rachel September 17, 2010 at 9:57 AM

It’s listed on Meijer.com. Go to the weekly ads tab and select the tailgating ad. It’s on page 4. I’ve used it in Dayton with no problem.

31 quebe September 11, 2010 at 11:32 PM

i am trying to figure out the best deal for the cheese chunks this week, i love your deal ideas, can you please tell me if this is right and it will work as it seems cheaper than buying 5 cost 6.00, 10 costs 5.00 and so does 15 from what i am thinking, here is what i would like to do as we love cheese and i also buy it for my sons family:
Buy 15 Kraft CHUNK Cheese, 8 oz @ $2.00 each = $30.00
Use three $5.00/5 Kraft coupons = (-$15.00)
Pay $15.00, get two $5.00 checkout coupos valid on your next order (when you spend $15 in Kraft Chunk Cheese).
Final Cost: $5.00 for 15 ($0.33 each)
will this deal work as i have planned or am i missing something because it does say limit two per transaction,,,,,,,,,,thanks in advance for your advice

32 Jolyn September 12, 2010 at 7:49 AM

That looks great! I’m so used to “limit 1 coupon per transaction” that I forgot this one would print two! It’s a LOT of cheese, but certainly a better deal if you can print from two computers! Thanks for sharing!

33 Diane September 14, 2010 at 7:35 AM

Youhave the above cheese scenario crossed out in your match ups above. Did you try this deal and it didn’t work? TIA

34 Jolyn September 14, 2010 at 7:37 AM

It’s crossed out because the price of the cheese is actually lower in the store ($1.67 rather than $2.00) and since the scenario requires a $15 chunk cheese purchase, the offer will not work as stated.

35 Diane September 14, 2010 at 9:04 AM

Thanks for the quick reply! and thanks for doing these matchups each week!

36 trisha September 16, 2010 at 4:55 PM

you can also freeze the cheese to use later :)

37 Christina G. September 11, 2010 at 11:44 PM

What zip code are you using for the Simply Asia coupon? I tried 48044 with a 50 mile radius and can’t seem to find it.

38 Jolyn September 12, 2010 at 7:48 AM

I’ll have to remove it – the print quota must have been met.

39 Annfairfax September 14, 2010 at 8:52 AM

Hi. Yeah, I wasn’t able to get it last week or this week either.

40 Deb September 12, 2010 at 2:31 AM

Buy one bag of P.F. Chang’s Home Menu, Get one Uncle Ben’s Ready Rice FREE.
Offer Valid 9/12-10/10/2010
(From Meijer’s website)

41 Deb September 12, 2010 at 8:55 PM

If you want to see this offer, go to meijer.com and click “Your Store” tab at the top. The offer doesn’t state whether this is an Instant Deal or a Catalina Deal. I’m thinking it may be Instant.

42 Deb September 14, 2010 at 2:34 AM

P.F. Chang’s is on PRICE DROP $6.99 (reg. $8.48) through Oct. 10, and there is a $1.50/1 printable. This deal would now look like this:

Buy one bag of P.F. Chang’s Home Menu = $6.99
Use $1.50 printable coupon
Pay $5.49 and get FREE Uncle Ben’s Ready Rice too!

Final cost: $2.00 for 6 ($0.33 each)

44 KELLY September 12, 2010 at 2:20 PM

Your right! I bought 6 this morning and didn’t notice until I read your comment and looked – it did take off another $1 – BONUS!

45 Jolyn September 12, 2010 at 2:29 PM

Thanks, Deb! I read right over that, assuming it was the same as the Catalina! Even better! :)

46 Courtney September 12, 2010 at 9:31 AM

I can’t seem to find the Carnation evaporated milk coupon? any help

47 Jolyn September 12, 2010 at 2:33 PM

Thanks for letting me know, Courtney. I’ve updated the link in the matchups. You’ll find the Carnation coupon here:

48 cheyenne September 12, 2010 at 9:36 AM

No cat for veggies…BUMMER!

49 vickie September 12, 2010 at 10:59 AM

I went to Center road Meijer this morning and they cancelled the catalina for the Green Giant frozen vegetables (buy 3 get $2.00). They said it was cancelled by Manufacturer.

50 Jolyn September 12, 2010 at 1:52 PM

Thanks for the update!

51 Andrea September 12, 2010 at 12:29 PM

Beware! The Ziploc coupon for the baggies has been ADDING $.75 to your order under CM Promotion as of Friday instead of subtracting! If you go through the line they can fix it but make sure you point it out to them. Weird.

52 KELLY September 12, 2010 at 12:48 PM

I went this morning and did the ZIploc deal and bought 6 packages of baggies and a bunch of other stuff. The cashier was scanning my coupons while I bagged, so I thought the 3 – MMB $1.50 went through but now looking at my receipt they didn’t. Can I take my receipt back tomorrow to customer service to get a credit, or how does that work? They kept the MMB coupons but I can print more and take them in to show them, but I can’t make it back until tomorrow. Any suggestions?

53 Andrea September 12, 2010 at 1:33 PM

I would just take the receipt and coupons tomorrow and show them it didn’t deduct properly. Meijer still hasn’t programmed this coupon correctly and it’s frustrating to both customers and the cashiers and service desk.

54 KELLY September 12, 2010 at 2:18 PM

Thanks – I’ll give it a shot!

55 Jenna September 12, 2010 at 4:21 PM

Everytime I’ve use the MMB Q for the ziplock it either didn’t take anything off or just $0.75. I save them for last and look at my total before using them.

I have taken my recipt and reprinted MMB to customer service and they gave me the cash back. I think they know that their system is not set up right and they do not ring like they should :(

56 amy September 12, 2010 at 5:29 PM

I used this coupon today and the cashier was giving me all sorts of trouble because it didn’t take anything off.
he said its because the computers were updated
the coupon won’t work if the manuf. coupon takes off more then the item is worth (for some reason they couldn’t seem to add .75+.75 only = 1.50) when the bags are 1.89.
Then he said he couldn’t manually enter it either.

I ended up just taking them to customer service and they gave me my cash back but still what a hassle!

57 Laura Webber September 12, 2010 at 11:11 PM

My cashier thinks that the reason that the Ziploc MMB coupon is giving customers trouble is because it reads “containers and bags” meaning that a combination of both products may have the coupon scanning properly- but we savvy coupon spenders think more along the lines of sets of bags or sets of containers instead of mixing the two. Weird.

58 Misty September 14, 2010 at 4:18 PM

Last week, I bought both 4 of the zipper bags and 2 packages of containers. None of the MMB coupons scanned and had to be entered manually. So the combo doesn’t work either. I also only got the cat for the bags, but no cat for the 2 containers. Maybe I needed to buy 3?

Misty

59 Sarah September 14, 2010 at 8:58 PM

I went to customer service and she did eventually give me the money back for the 3 MMB but she was still convinced that it didn’t work because I used a MQ and a MMB and she also thought it might be because the coupons were more than the amount (which they weren’t)

In the end, though, it’s still a good deal even without the MMB. If you buy 6 of the $1.50 bags (sandwich and snack size), they end up being .09 each after the catalina ($1.5×6=$9.00 – $4.5 from 3 MQ – $4 catalina = $.50 for 6). If you buy the $1.89 bags, they are $.48 cents each or $2.84 for 6 after coupon and catalina.

60 Sarah September 14, 2010 at 9:00 PM

That was the $1.5 off 2 MQ that I was talking about – sorry, I forgot there were more than one out there!

61 Marianne September 12, 2010 at 1:51 PM

Check your cheese prices, our ad says 3/$6 but in store tags are 3/$5 and are ringing up at 1.67. This was the chunk (brick) Kraft cheese. Nice savings.

62 Jolyn September 12, 2010 at 1:52 PM

Oooh, that WOULD be nice! Thanks, Marianne!

63 leann September 12, 2010 at 3:18 PM

Can I use the $5 kraft coupons on sliced cheese instead or does it state chunk only? I already have about 40 of the chunk and shredded in my freezer.

64 Jolyn September 12, 2010 at 3:36 PM

Of course. When you print the coupon, you’ll see a list of participating items. Just remember that the other cheeses may not be included in the Catalina promotion…

65 leann September 12, 2010 at 11:07 PM

has anyone tried the sliced cheese and received the catalina?

66 Elizabeth September 13, 2010 at 7:06 AM

Yes, I purchased 10 packages of sliced cheese and received a catalina…I think it ended up being .38/package

67 leann September 13, 2010 at 7:26 PM

thanks Elizabeth!

68 Jenna September 12, 2010 at 4:18 PM

Mine were priced and rang up $1.67- Kraft Chunk Cheese. Still had issues using, you’d think they’d have it fixed by now. But it was worth the 20 minutes it took me to check out to get 20 bars :)

70 laura September 13, 2010 at 7:33 AM

Not sure if you’re aware or not, but I noticed some coupons on the box tops website :)

71 Amanda September 13, 2010 at 8:20 AM

Just wanted to add that I did the Kraft Cheese promo last week twice, and the cat did not print either time. When I inquired at Customer Service they explained it was b/c the coupons brought my total below $15. This has never happened to me at Meijer before! Has anyone else had trouble with this?

72 Jolyn September 13, 2010 at 10:57 AM

The subtotal for any Catalina promotions is calculated BEFORE any coupons are deducted. Your customer service rep was sadly misinformed. Call Catalina Mktg with your receipt to get the checkout coupons you rightly deserve: 1-888-8COUPON.

73 Amanda September 13, 2010 at 12:23 PM

I will try that! Thank you!

74 coupon guy September 13, 2010 at 9:59 AM

i don’t see any ziploc bags coupons at http://www.rightathome.com/offers/Pages/default.aspx – where r they rest of u seeing them? i only see one for the ‘starter kit’ :(

75 Jolyn September 13, 2010 at 10:58 AM

If the coupon is no longer there, it’s likely that it’s reached the print quota and has been removed. I know I checked yesterday and it was still available.

76 Debra September 13, 2010 at 10:18 PM

make sure you are looking at the homepage, still see it

77 Amy September 13, 2010 at 12:29 PM

Today at the Grandville Meijer(west side of the state) the sandwich and snack ziploc bags went on price drop to 2 for $3. $4 money maker if you have the $1.50/2 coupons, and still a money maker if you use the $1.00/2.

78 Anne September 13, 2010 at 2:30 PM

I don’t see the ziploc slider MBC anymore. :(

83 brandyp September 13, 2010 at 3:03 PM

I clipped a $3.00 off one Purina One Cat Food or Dog Food mperk coupon two weeks ago. Don’t know it it’s still there but pair that with the mfr coupon and you’ve got a bag of cat food for .49! Woohoo :)

84 Jolyn September 13, 2010 at 3:24 PM

I saw that, too, and originally had it in the matchups – until I realized the the mPerks coupon is for Purina ONE Smart Blend – and it didn’t seem like that applied to the sale in the ad. Let me know if you can confirm it.

85 Casey September 13, 2010 at 7:23 PM

I just went to Meijer and bought: 6 boxed green giant veggies at 99c each, used 2 $1/3 coupons as well as 2 Boxes Betty Crocker Potatoes and used 50c/2 coupon (which doubled). The catalina machine printed 2 coupons both $2 both say from General Mills! So… what triggered both? I found it odd, but pleasantly surprised. I also bought Meijer Brand pickles and a jar of refried beans, but that was all I bought… so not sure about the cats!

86 Jolyn September 13, 2010 at 10:27 PM

Maybe that $2.00 Catalina (when you buy 3, as advertised in the ad) is working again? That would be NICE! Can anyone else confirm?

87 Jolyn September 13, 2010 at 11:48 PM

CONFIRMED! A Meijer employee left this message on the B2B Facebook Fan Page:
The Green Giant Vegetables Promotion, “Buy 3 or more, get $2 off your next shopping trip via Meijer Custom Coupon” will now be printing by 3:00 pm today, September 13, 2010. We at Meijer apologize for the confusion around this miscommunication.

It appears that BOTH Green Giant Catalina offers will be printing together!

88 Olivia September 13, 2010 at 8:14 PM

Does anyone know where I can find the information on the Meijer Kraft Catalina in an ad? I have made two visits for the chunk cheese and the catalina did not print either time. Today I asked customer service and they didn’t know anything about it but said if I brought in an ad showing the offer they could get me a coupon.

89 Debra September 16, 2010 at 2:37 PM

It is the header on the new 2 day sale flyer so it should be no problem now for them to find it

90 Emily September 13, 2010 at 8:47 PM

The $3 mperks cat food is $10 something at my Meijer. The only size that met
the qualifications. As for the smart balance milk I have been loading everything
of interest since 3 weeks ago, so I dont know if its still available.

91 Deb September 13, 2010 at 11:25 PM

Print a $2/2 Nivea Lip Care coupon, they’re on PRICE DROP at Meijer 9/13-10/10 for .99 making these absolutely FREE! Coupon prints first, then a big, ink wasting ad. Maybe you can stop your printer after the coupon prints.

92 Jolyn September 13, 2010 at 11:47 PM

Great find! Thanks, Deb! :)

93 Roberta September 14, 2010 at 9:16 PM

To save ink, I cut my paper in half and then it stops after printing the coupon. This only works if the coupon prints on the top half. Every once in awhile the ad prints at the top and the coupon follows.

94 Deb September 14, 2010 at 1:54 AM

95 Rhoda September 14, 2010 at 9:06 AM

WOW!! Thank you!!

96 Emily September 14, 2010 at 8:33 AM

kraft catalina was in the ad last week or week before, so if you can find the
ad you have your proof, sometimes the front desk has copies of old ads.

97 kathy September 14, 2010 at 8:49 AM

There is a $2.00/1 PF Chang in the 9/12 redplum ;)

98 sjack827 September 14, 2010 at 10:27 AM

Does anyone know if the pizza crust will generate a catalina like the other products? Is the pizza crust .99 too?

On the frozen veggies how many catalinas will you get if you buy 9? Do you get catalinas for *both* promotions? What is the best scenario for buying these with .60/off 3 being doubled?

Thank you very much

99 Jolyn September 14, 2010 at 2:35 PM

Pizza crust is not on sale, but it will still generate the Catalina offer (which was listed at the bottom of these matchups for your reference): Buy 4 Pillsbury Refrigerated Crescents, Cookies, Sweet Rolls, Grands Biscuits, Grands Cinnamon Rolls, Pie Crusts, Dinner Rolls, Loaves, Breadsticks or Pizza Crust in one transaction, get a $1.00 checkout coupon valid on your next order. Buy 5, get $2.00; buy 6 or more, get $3.00. (9/5-10/6).

On the Green Giant offers, you should receive BOTH Catalinas if you purchase 4 or more. Are you shopping at a store outside Michigan that would double your $0.60/3 coupon? I haven’t examined all possible scenarios yet…

100 leann September 14, 2010 at 11:11 AM

there is a stouffers mmb coupon $1 off 2 to sweeten the deal.
also wondering, i don’t think i can do it but, can i add the toll house cookie $1 coupon on top of already getting it for free to the stouffers family meal deal??

101 Jolyn September 14, 2010 at 2:36 PM

You can try, Leann, but based on the way Meijer registers have operated in the past your coupon will scan as accepted but will not deduct because the item is already free.

102 Sarah September 14, 2010 at 7:32 PM

The stouffers mmb coupon is only for 23-25 oz, where as the deal says family size 28 oz or more. My cashier today wouldn’t let it slide.

103 Kelli September 14, 2010 at 1:23 PM

Shopped today (9/14) and the Kraft chunk cheese is definitely still 3/$5.00, with a Catalina for $5.00. The checked my 2 Kraft ($5.00) coupons and they scanned, so I bought 10 chunks bringing my final cost to $.17 each! I did the same last week. We should be cheese happy until the end of the year. Woot!
They had a nice variety of Barilla pasta and Nestle morsels.
Maybelline lip and face is 30% off and w/ the $2.00 coupon, my lipstick was just $2.
I spent $34 today and saved a whopping $54, not including the catalinas!!!
I love Meijer sales and coupons. :)

104 Lucy A September 14, 2010 at 2:46 PM

Meijer has Colgate toothpaste for 99 cents and there is a 75 cent coupon that expires on 9/18. The coupon has a picture of Colgate Total on it, but the coupon itself states that it is for ANY Colgate toothpaste 4.0 oz or larger, so end cost it 24 cents plus tax.

105 Pam September 14, 2010 at 2:59 PM

With the Ziploc deal rolling, does that mean i could buy 18 boxes of Ziploc in one transcation and get 6 – $2 catalina coupons?

106 Jolyn September 14, 2010 at 3:11 PM

I’m not sure whether there’s a limit as to how many Catalinas will print at once. I’d discourage purchasing 18 at a time for a few reasons:
1. You’ll receive 6 $2 Catalinas at once. Most cashiers will only let you redeem those ONE per transaction, so you’ll need to have 6 additional orders in the next 2 weeks to spend them.
2. You’d be better off buying 6 at a time (2 Catalinas), then spending (or “rolling”) those Catalinas on purchasing additional Ziplocs or other items.
3. With 18, you’d really be clearing the shelves off for other shoppers.

107 sjack827 September 14, 2010 at 3:56 PM

Yes, Jolyn I’m outside of Michigan. I live in Columbus Ohio. I found out about your website through other shopping boards. It’s been very helpful since we seem to have the same ad here that you do in Detroit. In Columbus Meijer doubles 2 like coupons up to 99¢. Thanks again.

108 Tami September 14, 2010 at 5:09 PM

I’m not sure how this happened, but I was able to print the Heluva Good dip 4 times. Yea for me, best wishes for you.

109 Carolyn September 14, 2010 at 10:26 PM

I was organizing my Ziploc stash tonight and took some of the containers out of the cardboard so they would stack better. In the small and medium size square containers there were coupons for $1.50/2 Ziploc Containers between the lid and the container!

110 Missy September 15, 2010 at 6:34 AM

Thanks, Carolyn for that tip! I just looked in my stash and lo and behold, more coupons! Sweet!

111 Kate September 15, 2010 at 7:26 AM

I bought the purina one cat food yestesday and used the $2.00 off coupon. There must be an mperks coupon too because I got another $3.00 off! .49 for the 3.5 lb bag.

112 Karen September 15, 2010 at 8:18 AM

I am looking for confirmation ont he price of Pillsbury sweet memories desserts. I went to Hill Rd and was charged 2.50, I can’t find the 2.00 price anywhere. Thanks, Karen

113 Amanda M September 15, 2010 at 9:20 AM

I went to buy the Alpo canned dog food and to my suprise there was a shelf tag for a Catalina for 50 cents when you buy 6 cans! Here’s the beak down:
Alpo Dog food on sale for 55 cents/can
Use 3-1.00/4 coupons
Buy 12 cans pay 3.60, get a 1.00 Catalina, makes it 22 cents a can :)

114 Kathy September 15, 2010 at 10:22 AM

The Pillsbury Sweet Moments are $2.50 @ our store too. Here’s a great deal idea:
(2) Sweet Moments 5.00
(4) Pillsbury Grands @ .99/each = 3.96
(2) Sweet Moment coupons (3.00)
(2) $1/2 Grands (2.00)
Total 3.96 – 3.00 oyno cat = .96

115 Jessica September 15, 2010 at 11:27 AM

I dont think that the sweet moments are included in the catalina deal, I think it os only the rools of dough.

116 Jolyn September 15, 2010 at 1:46 PM

The Sweet Moments were working toward the Catalina deal last week, though they’re not specifically listed in the Catalina offer details.

117 Jessica White September 15, 2010 at 12:04 PM

For some reason I cannot figure out how to access the Meijer Mealbox coupons. Even through the link I am not able to bring them up. Any tips?

Thank you!

118 Leslie K. September 16, 2010 at 10:20 AM

Are you Sarah’s sister Jessica?!!! I so owe her a call! :) Say hi to Amy, too!

Go to meijermealbox.com and look to the right for a large box. At the top, click on “specials” to see all of the coupons, then “shopping list” to print. Hope this helps!

119 Jessica September 17, 2010 at 1:00 PM

I’m sorry Leslie, I must not be the same Jessica!

For some reason when I go to the site, no large box appears! A little stuck here!

Thanks for any and all help!

120 Mike September 15, 2010 at 12:04 PM

Ok went to Rochester Hills Meijer, Auburn Rd yesterday. The 5.00 kraft is not scanning. I used 2, the cashier had to get manager approval. She approved it. Also the BarS only works for the bologna and not the hot dogs. Cashier had to be a smart ass about it too which kinda ticked me off. She said, “CMON, thats not bologna, you should know the difference.” I told her this website said I can use it. She said don’t believe this website. LOL

121 Jolyn September 15, 2010 at 12:35 PM

Actually, that’s why the coupon link says $0.50/2 Bar S Bologna in the matchups – so you’ll know to use it on bologna, even though the hot dogs are on sale. If it’s less confusing, though, maybe next time I’ll just list the item that matches up with the coupon. Let me know what you think. I’d never encourage you to do anything fraudulent with your coupons – you really do need to redeem it only on the specified items.

122 Heather September 15, 2010 at 1:50 PM

Jolyn,

I’d prefer you continue listing both/all items that are on sale (i.e. list both bologna and hot dogs). Often times, it may be a better deal to get the bologna, for instance, but I’d prefer to spend a few cents more and get the hotdogs. However, if you only list the one with the specific coupon, I might not know that there are other options on sale.

Does that make sense?! Thanks for the hard work – this week looks fabulous!!

123 Mike September 16, 2010 at 6:10 PM

Jolyn,

It may be a good idea because I thought the coupon would work for the hot dogs.

124 Christina G. September 15, 2010 at 12:21 PM

Bonus! There is also a $0.50/1 Frank’s Redhot coupon at the links that are listed for the French’s mustard deal.

125 Kim September 15, 2010 at 12:47 PM

Anyone use the “meijer store printable” for johnsonville brats listed above? I printed it, but it doesn’t look legit, it does look like it’s from Meijer and it has a barcode, but it looks like I made a copy of a coupon from one of their store booklets….just wondering if anyone’s used it with success or not?

126 Jolyn September 15, 2010 at 1:45 PM

It is a duplicate of their Tailgating pamphlet, but they have it on their website for printing as well. Others have reported using it successfully on the B2B Facebook page. If you can find the Tailgating booklet in store, feel free to use that one instead.

127 Becky September 17, 2010 at 12:14 AM

I used it and it works fine. My cashier did have to call someone though to check but whoever was on the other end of the line said yes! right away. It doesn’t scan though; they have to enter it manually. So my suggestion is, give it to your cashier first before your other coupons.

128 Heather September 15, 2010 at 2:31 PM

On homesolutionsnews.com there are coupons for Finish dishwashing detergent – $1/1 any Finish Quantum and 50c/1 any Finish. These are on sale 2/$6 this week. I haven’t seen many good deals lately on dishpacs so $2 isn’t bad if you’re in need!

129 Heather September 15, 2010 at 2:32 PM

FYI, these print the coupons smack dab in the middle of the page, so if you’re hoping to save paper by only using half sheets or whatnot, it won’t work! Grr!

130 Beth September 15, 2010 at 2:47 PM

Groesbeck and Cass store has the Kraft Cheese ringing up for $2.00 as listed in the ad. Also, I bought 10 shredded cheeses and the catalina did not roll. Took it to customer service and they gave me $5 back.

131 Jolyn September 15, 2010 at 2:52 PM

Ahhhh. You didn’t get a Catalina because it’s only valid when you purchase $15 worth of CHUNK cheese (or other participating products). I’m not sure if only the chunk cheeses are ringing up at $1.67 as well, but I haven’t seen anyone else comment that they’re getting a $2 price.

132 Tracy N. September 15, 2010 at 3:33 PM

I tried for the Kraft Cat on Sunday and found no cat. My chunk cheese did ring up 1.67. But I also bought shred cheese thinking it was part of the cat. IT IS NOT. Returned all 15 packages of cheese and asked for my coupons back, I think they were annoyed, so finished my return and just left.

133 Rachael September 15, 2010 at 3:21 PM

Does anyone know if the following catalinas will roll so that I can use them to buy the same item again and still receive another catalina? Pillsbury $3.00 catalina, Kraft $5.00, or the 2-$2.00 ones for the Green Giant veggies? I would like to go back and get some more but would first like to know if I can use these catalinas and still get them to print again.
Thanks.

134 Jolyn September 15, 2010 at 3:37 PM

The $5 Kraft Catalina will roll (you can use it to buy additional Kraft cheese and a new $5 Catalina will print).

The Green Giant Catalina will NOT roll.

I haven’t heard any reports on the Pillsbury Catalina offer yet, however.

135 Jen September 15, 2010 at 11:22 PM

Mike,

When a coupon says Bologna it means Bologna not hot dogs. Very simple. And your mad because the cashier wouldn’t take it? I really love this site but sometimes the cashier bashing is just really mean. I rarely see any compliments on good service. Just comments like ” The cashier didn’t let it slide”… Why should they if you got the wrong size or item? Why do people complain when they were in the wrong?

Jolyn,

I really appreciate all you do and I think you have wonderful coupon ethics. Some of your readers do not!

136 Mike September 16, 2010 at 5:54 PM

No you misunderstood. I wasn’t mad because she didn’t take the coupon. I was made because she made me look like an idiot in front of all the customers behind me because I got hot dogs instead of bologna. Never make a customer feel like an idiot.

137 Sheri September 16, 2010 at 8:12 AM

In Central Ohio, the GG Steamers are also .99. I think you can find Q’s in the same place as the boxes.

138 KATHY September 16, 2010 at 8:56 AM

Stouffer’s Easy Express Skillet Meals Buy 2 @ 3.00 = 6.00
Less:(1) 1.00/2 mb
Less:(2) $1.00/1
Total $1.50 each

Same Nestle link as the one you have posted for the family size meal

139 laura September 16, 2010 at 10:54 AM

Ore-Ida potatoes are on sale buy 3 get 1 free. There is an online coupon for $1.50 off 2 ore-ida french fries. Do you know if I can use 2 coupons on 4 bags or if I would have to purchase a 5th bag to use the coupons, since 1 bag is free?
Got this link from hip to save for coupon.
http://bricks.coupons.com/Start.asp?o=59525&pt=&lang=&ws=&ct=&ci=&cl=&cp=&eb=1&c=OI&p=prospleadgen_761205&z=&r=&pc=&tc=

140 Melissa September 16, 2010 at 12:07 PM

On the Grands…In the 9/12 GM there is a $.40/2 but below that one is a $.35/1. If you have enough to still make the catalina work, you could save $.70 on one instead of $.80 on two.

141 Melissa September 16, 2010 at 12:23 PM

Also, on the Totino’s pizza rolls, there is a $.40/2 in the 9/12 GM

142 Melissa September 16, 2010 at 12:40 PM

One more…There is $1/2 Hershey’s syrup bottles 17 oz or lager in the 8/22 SS ( this goes along with the deal listed by Jolyn)

143 Melissa September 16, 2010 at 12:42 PM

OOPS! Sorry, the deal above is fo Nestle, not Hershey.

144 Melissa September 16, 2010 at 12:43 PM

There is a two day sale at Meijer 9/17-9/18.

145 Sarah September 16, 2010 at 5:15 PM

Where was the Kraft cat. listed? In an ad or online? I should have gotten 2 of them today, but neither printed and the customer service cashier told me there was no promotion like that, except for the 2 day one tomorrow. She also looked in the computer and it wasn’t there.

I want to be able to print something out or bring in one of the old ads so I can get my 2 cats! :)

146 Robin September 16, 2010 at 8:28 PM

It was listed in Last weeks ad! i cut it out just in case!

147 Sarah September 16, 2010 at 9:05 PM

Do you know where in the ad it was? The cashier wouldn’t let me touch the flyer and she just flipped through and told me it wasn’t in there.

Thanks!

148 Sarah September 16, 2010 at 9:13 PM

Never mind, I searched through ad scans online and it was in the 8/29 flyer, good enough for me! Now I get to go back tomorrow and hopefully get this squared away. Thanks though!

149 Cathy September 16, 2010 at 9:23 PM

Sarah, the same thing happened to me tonight.I didn’t get my $5.00 catalina either and they have no clue what I talking about. How can I get a copy of the ad to show the girls at customer service?

150 Courtney September 16, 2010 at 11:07 PM

I saw two signs listing the Kraft promo at my Meijer. Both were on end caps…one by a small cheese display and the other by chips or crackers. Hope this helps.

151 Gayle September 16, 2010 at 5:30 PM

Meijers right now has a 30 pack of Keystone Light for $15.29…with a $10 mail in rebate, either attached to the box or it prints a catalina!! $5.29 for a 30 pack!

152 Mike September 17, 2010 at 4:57 PM

Now that’s what I’m talkin about. Going to get some right now myself lol

153 Emily September 17, 2010 at 9:09 AM

meijermealbox.com added $1/4 barilla pasta

154 KATHY September 17, 2010 at 12:58 PM

Just picked up Maybelline Lipstick FREE!

156 Pam September 17, 2010 at 8:40 PM

Used my $5 Kraft Coupons in Westland today, the cashier said the register told her the coupon value exceeded the amount of the item (although it did not). She put them through but had to ask a manager to over ride it. (At least nobody accused me of fraud!)
Also met another reader of yours there.. .she noticed my list and could tell it came from you! Then we had a high-five and a nice conversation about your site. Too funny. Thanks for the match-ups!

157 Anna S. September 18, 2010 at 1:43 AM

Jolyn, thank you so much for all the work that you put into this. Today I went to Meijer and saved a total of $121.73 and I only paid $20.57! If you want to check out what I got, you can see it here: http://livinghealthyonabudget.blogspot.com/2010/09/meijer-trip-saved-12173-paid-2057.html
I broke it down with exactly how I did my transactions.

158 Anna S. September 18, 2010 at 10:57 AM

At the Champaign, Illinois Meijer, I noticed that the Oscar Mayer Selects Nitrate Free Turkey dogs were included in the Buy $15 get $5 promotion. These were priced at $1.25 at the Meijer I went to and there is a $1/1 any Oscar Mayer Selects coupon available here: http://www.kraftbrands.com/goodmoodmission/ (Click on the Special Offers tab in the bottom left-hand corner) These would probably have to be some of the healthiest hot dogs that you can get at a chain like Meijer or Walmart.

159 Deb September 19, 2010 at 2:30 PM
