_____________________________________________

*DOUBLE COUPONS – This deal requires a coupon to DOUBLE at Meijer. Note that Metro Detroit Meijer stores will double only 2 identical coupons (up to $0.50) per transaction. See additional notes below.

COLOR-CODED DEALS for your convenience – final prices are listed with

  • FREE items in red
  • STOCK UP prices in green
  • AVERAGE savings in black (purchase these items only if needed)

MEIJER COUPON POLICY

View Meijer’s official coupon policy online (print it if needed for reference!).

  • Metro Detroit Meijer stores will double manufacturer coupons up to $0.50, but no more than 2 identical coupons per transaction. Additional identical coupons and any store coupons will be redeemed at face value. You may want to call your location before shopping to verify. For best savings on multiple items with coupons that will double, divide your order into multiple transactions (this is most easily done at the U-scan).
  • You can print 2 copies of each printable coupon per computer, with some exceptions. Use your back button and refresh the screen if necessary or return to the original coupon link. There is no limit on the amount of Meijer Mealbox store coupons you may print.
  • When a particular advertised sale item is out of stock, be sure to ask your cashier or a customer service assistant for a raincheck.

MEIJER MEALBOX STORE COUPONS

You may want to print a copy of the Meijer Mealbox store policy and keep it with your shopping list to show your cashier (in case they aren’t familiar with corporate policy):

1.) Mealbox coupons may be used in addition to manufacturer coupons.

2.) Mealbox coupons may be used each time a condition is met, which could be multiple times per transaction. (For example: a coupon for $1.00 off 2 soups can be used multiple times if you have a coupon printed and the number of soups purchased matches, i.e. 2 coupons = 4 soups.)

3.) Mealbox coupons cannot be doubled or tripled at any time.

4.) Stores have the right to limit the quantity of items to normal retail purchases per transaction.

Thank you!

When is the baby due?

2 Jolyn August 29, 2010 at 6:34 PM

You’re welcome! Officially due Nov 4, but hoping to schedule my c-section 2 weeks early (Oct 21).

3 Kristen August 28, 2010 at 9:49 PM

Those are totally unexciting :( But thanks for posting. Hope next week is better or Kroger is better.

4 Cathy August 28, 2010 at 9:50 PM

Thanks for having the Meijers mealbox coupon policy. I printed it and it’ll be going with me on my next visit!! No more missing out on the good deals!!
Thanks again.

5 Karen August 28, 2010 at 10:11 PM

Thank you for posting *where* to find the Glucerna. I have looked for it several times and, even with Meijer employee help, still could not locate :)

6 stacy August 28, 2010 at 10:13 PM

I think the ballpark facebook offer has ended?!

7 Jen August 28, 2010 at 10:35 PM

If you buy 9 chunk cheese for 15.00, you’ll get the 5.00 ONYO and use 4 1.00/2 coupons (there have been recent blinkies too), it’s like paying 6.00 for 9 blocks or .67 each!

8 ginger August 30, 2010 at 6:03 PM

I think there is also a $1/2 Meijer coupon in the Back to School coupon book. Stack those together and that would be $2 for 9 bags of cheese or .22 each!

9 Jennifer September 3, 2010 at 10:10 PM

Where do you get the Meijer Back to School Book?

10 Melanie August 29, 2010 at 12:05 AM

There is a Capri Sun coupon for $1 off 2 in Family Fun on page 77.

11 Kristen August 29, 2010 at 8:15 AM

This is an odd coupon. I’m not sure if it will work at Meijer. Maybe Jolyn can clarify for me. It says “Offer Good at Walgreens” (but not ONLY?) says “retailer’s coupon” (not store or man?) and it does have an address to be sent to (Kraft foods). So…. store or mq????

12 Jolyn August 29, 2010 at 9:02 AM

It’s a manufacturer’s coupon, but your cashier could refuse it if he/she isn’t educated on coupon policy and gets scared off by the Walgreens mention.

13 Jessica August 29, 2010 at 9:06 PM

I am a cashier at Meijer and we are told not to accept coupons that say “redeemable at” a store other than Meijer. Meijer does not receive any money for them even though they say they are a manufacturer’s coupon.

14 Jolyn August 29, 2010 at 10:46 PM

Thanks, Jessica! That info really helps!

15 Emily August 29, 2010 at 8:28 AM

16 Amber August 29, 2010 at 8:58 AM

I’m not sure yet, but I think there will be two catalinas that print if you buy any of the 100 calorie snack packs. If you buy 5, you get a $3 cat. I’m going to try it today :
buy 5 100 calorie snack packs
buy 4 kraft cheese chunks
It should print the $5 cat for the ‘Buy $15 get $5′ AND the Nabisco Snack Pack catalina ‘Buy 5 get $3′.

We’ll see!!

Please report back – I can’t wait to hear if this works!!!

18 Rachel August 29, 2010 at 11:41 AM

Yes! Please let us know! I was thinking of trying this myself but since you’re willing to be the ‘ginea pig’ we’ll see if it works. :D

19 Amber September 1, 2010 at 9:00 AM

OK, I tried it last night and it didn’t work:( I’m not sure why the Nabisco snack packs didn’t trigger it so I’m a little annoyed. I also misread the deal on another order and used a free coupon for Kraft 100 cal cheese snacks and this didn’t trigger the deal either. So I missed out on two cats:( Not sure if I should call the Catalina company??

20 Kate August 29, 2010 at 9:37 AM

I’m planning to buy 8 100-cal packs. I have $1 coupons from a recent tearpad and some peelies. Spend $7.92 and hopefully get back the $5 AND the $3! Here’s hoping! I have 24 coupons :)

For the record… the Nabisco 100-cal packs do NOT trigger the $5 catalina.

28 Rachel August 31, 2010 at 11:26 AM

Thanks for the info!

29 Tammy August 29, 2010 at 6:15 PM

Kate- the Nabiso 100 packs will give you a $3.00 off CAT but not the $5.00 CAT.

The Kraft deal works out to 50 cents per item if you buy
2 x 1.99 wheat thins with 2 x $1 coupon from Kraft website mentioned above,
4 x 3/$5 Kraft chunk cheese with 2x $1/2 coupon from Kraft,
3 x 3/$5 Kraft dressing with 3 x 55cents/1 in today’s flyer.
This of course includes the $5 catalina coupon offer in the calculation.

36 Christy Mayo August 31, 2010 at 11:20 AM

I did this last night with 2 wheat thins, 3 chunk cheeses, 2 OM hot dogs and 2 OM sandwich meats. The $5 didn’t print. Any ideas, anyone? I guess I can just take my receipt back?

37 Christy Mayo August 31, 2010 at 11:20 AM

It was 4 chunk cheeses actually. I know I made the $15.

38 erin August 29, 2010 at 10:10 PM

anyone know if the three dollars off any three chlorox products is still going on???

39 Amber August 30, 2010 at 9:07 AM

Erin- I don’t think so. My Meijer said it only ran through Saturday- but I think Chicago has it this week- can’t remember. I was able to score some free Clorox wipes, but I got the last four at my store:(

40 Tammy August 29, 2010 at 10:25 PM

Meijer had a big add in the front section of the Detroit News today on the school prices. The 1 Subject Notebooks are now 0.10 cents each. Picked up some on Saturday and they had price dropped them to the 0.10 cents.

45 Del August 30, 2010 at 3:53 PM

The Meijer mealbox coupon for Bush’s beans doesn’t have the UPC code on it when I print it. Has anyone else experienced this?

46 Casey August 30, 2010 at 7:04 PM

I have a question about the Meijer Ad. First of all, I live in the Lansing area (so that might make a difference if most of you live in Detroit area.) My Meijer ad this week features a P&G deal: Spend $40 or more on any P&G products in one transaction, get a mail-in rebate at checkout for a Free $10 MasterCard Prepaid Debit card. (Shows a picture of the custom coupon logo, like for catalinas.) My question first is-is this a Lansing area only deal or widespread? Second, does anyone know if it is spend $40 BEFORE coupons? Also, I’m guessing I will need to mail my receipt somewhere, but can anyone confirm this? Because I want to do the meijer ticket zone deal and know I need to mail my receipt for that one, so curious if I need to do two seperate transactions. PLUS, in order to get the P&G coupons with the mail-in deal we need to mail them receipt for that! So… I can’t mail 1 receipt 3 places and they all require original receipt. Advice? I wonder if I could ask customer service to print off an additional receipt for me (is that something that can even be done?) Help! Thanks in advance! :)

47 Casey August 30, 2010 at 7:06 PM

And I tried to search the Meijer website for answers, but the link wasn’t operating correctly, kept taking me to mPerks instead of to info about P&G deal.

48 Jolyn August 30, 2010 at 8:19 PM

That $40 P&G offer is also in the Metro Detroit ad, so it’s more widespread (though I’m not sure how far). The $40 total requirement will be calculated BEFORE coupons. I’d recommend getting your ticket zone and P&G items separately so that you have the receipts. I’m not sure if customer service would be willing/able to give you a duplicate receipt, but it’s worth asking.

49 Casey August 30, 2010 at 8:36 PM

Okay, $40 before coupons will definitely make it easier! I kinda figured I would have to do the Meijer ticket zone seperately. I might wait and do that next week, depending on how much grocery shopping I end up doing this week. Now that I’m using coupons and buying stuff on sale, I don’t spend nearly as much as I used to. (Which is a good thing!!) But also means I probably won’t be buying enough this week to do both the $40 P&G deal and $20 worth of other stuff do to the Ticket Zone deal. We’ll see though. Thanks! I might call Meijer to ask about the duplicate receipt idea. I’ve heard of stores doing that, but not sure what it was for and can’t remember which store I heard that did it.

50 Lisa September 2, 2010 at 10:38 PM

You can get a duplicate receipt in the form of a “rebate receipt”. Push the rebate receipt button immediately after the item is scanned if you go through self-checkout, or tell the cashier to do it if you go through those lanes. It has to be before another item is scanned or you’ll get the wrong product listed on it. The super great thing about them is that it only lists the one item at the price paid, so no more worries about before/after coupon values. I get these all the time now that I know about them, and it makes mailings SO much easier! You could try it on any old item you wanted to just to see what exactly prints so you are familiar with it before you actually need one.

51 Casey August 30, 2010 at 9:23 PM

In regards to the P&G Deal, I have a senario I am going to use when I go shopping tomorrow:

Tide 100 oz liquid $10.49
-$1.50/1 from 8/22 SS
Tide Stain Release $10.49
-$3/1 from 8/1 SS or 8/29 P&G
Downy Dryer Sheets $4.49
-$1/1 from 8/1 P&G (exp 8-31)
2 Always pads $4.49 each
-$1/1 from 8/1 or 8/29 P&G (use 2)
2 Cascade Automatic Dishwasher Detergent 2/$5
-1/2 from 8/29 P&G

Total before coupons: $40.35
After coupons will spend: $31.85
Receive $10 gift card.
After giftcard, all will cost me: $21.85 for products I use regularly.

Well, that isn’t entirely accurate, I have not yet tried the Tide Stain Release, but I am looking forward to trying it. I know you add it in with your regular detergent, but it is supposed to help with stains as well as odors. I have difficulty eliminating underarm odor from shirts. Hoping this will help!

52 Wendy in Ohio August 31, 2010 at 9:28 AM

I REALLY like the Tide Stain Release. Have had great success in getting grass stains out of jeans just by adding some to the wash cycle.

53 Rachel August 31, 2010 at 3:10 PM

I use the Tide Stain Release all the time…LOVE IT! With a 3 year old and 2 year old, I have plenty of stains to combat and, man, does that stuff lift out anything!

54 Kristen September 4, 2010 at 2:01 PM

I, too, use the Tide Stain Release and love it. With tough stains (or a lot of stains) I also use a little Clorox 2 in the wash too…4 kids will give you a ton of stains that you miss!

55 Emily August 31, 2010 at 9:00 AM

am going back for more lunchables w/ $1/1 from smartsource and
meijer welcome back booklet $1/2
Does anyone know when the CAT ends?- I would wait until next week but I think
most of the CATS on the back of the meijer ad end 9/4 or 9/5, but they could
extend it again.

56 Mike August 31, 2010 at 10:05 AM

I can never find the Mike Sells chips at Rochester Meijer Auburn Rd

57 Corinne August 31, 2010 at 12:57 PM

The Betty Crocker friut shapes are on price drop for $1.75. Combine this with the $.50/2 at coupons.com and the $2 catalina when you buy 4, these are $3.00/4 or $.75 each.

58 Emily August 31, 2010 at 2:16 PM

If someone wants to confirm, I think I saw country crock sm. tubs on price
drop yesterday for 1.19 or 1.29. meijermealbox has $1/2 and countrycrock.com
has .40/1-print 2. I am hoping to not go back to Meijer until Sat.

59 Deanna August 31, 2010 at 5:27 PM

at Meijer I did the Kraft cheese deal bought 9 cheeses and used to coupons and my total that I paid was $13. The catalina not print but a slip did print from there telling me about the deal. I brought this up to customer service and she told me I had to spend $15 of my money to get the deal. She ended up hand writing me a catalina for $5 (I’m not sure why.) So all is well.

60 Rachael August 31, 2010 at 5:52 PM

Is there a way to still get the printable Progresso soup coupon from last week? I got a raincheck for the soups and would like to print more coupons, but I’m not having any luck clicking on the link from last week. Any suggestions/help would be greatly appreciated.

61 Bethann August 31, 2010 at 6:13 PM

I’m in NE Indiana. I don’t know if it’s the same market or not. Wanted to mention that there is a .35 coupon in this week’s SS off of Eckrich franks, which are on sale for $1, making one package of Eckrich franks .30. Good deal for good hot dogs!

62 Emily August 31, 2010 at 6:59 PM

I just read on another blog that someone bought a koolaid fizz and 2 country
time or koolaid mixes that are 3/$5 and got the $2 CAT. if the fizz
really works and you like them you can use (3) $1 from paper(reg price 1.99)
pay 2.97 and get back $2 CAT.

63 ChristinaN August 31, 2010 at 7:24 PM

I just got a couple different catalina’s.
Load a disney gift card with at least 25.00 from 9/5 to 9/18 and get 5.00 off your next shopping trip at meijer

Buy california pizza kitchen pizzas btwn 8/30 and 9/26 and save up to 3.00 on future order. buy 2 and get 1.00.buy 3 and get 2.00 or buy 4 or more and get 3.00

64 Casey August 31, 2010 at 9:30 PM

Question about the disney gift card- Is the gift card to be used at Disney World? Disney store? Or a gift card for meijer with picture of disney characters on it?!

65 Jolyn August 31, 2010 at 9:32 PM

It’s a Disney Gift Card, redeemable at Disney Stores and/or Disney World.

66 Casey August 31, 2010 at 9:34 PM

Wow you reply quick! Thanks for clarifying, much appreciate it (and the whole blog!)

67 ChristinaN August 31, 2010 at 7:29 PM

Also the Taco bell dinners at the 26 mile and Vandyke Meijer were 1.38 for the soft and hard shell kit and 1.18 for just hard shell kits.

68 Casey August 31, 2010 at 9:33 PM

The Taco Bell dinner kids at Meijer in Lansing were $1.18 for both the soft and hard shell varieties! PLUS, the hard shell boxes all had a 75c off 1 coupon stuck on the front! So I bought 1 hard shell and then *cough* borrowed 2 other sticker coupons and used them to buy the soft shell ones. Is that allowed? I didn’t buy the two hard shell ones, but I kinda took their coupon! So I got 3 boxes, each at 43c. Good deal!

69 kathy August 31, 2010 at 10:38 PM

Anybody need Heluva dip? I know these were free for a long time but .19 is still really cheap :) 1.19 – 1.00(.50/1) doubled Heluvagood.com = .19

70 Cathy September 1, 2010 at 10:16 AM

Where would I find the coupon for Heluva dip?

71 Kathy September 1, 2010 at 2:27 PM
72 Amber September 1, 2010 at 9:09 AM

I did a nice deal last night for the Venus promotion:
Buy one Venus razor- 9.99
Buy one Venus razor refill 14.99
GET 5 OFF INSTANTLY
then I used:
1 $2 off razor coupon
1 $3 off refill coupon
Buy refill get free Olay bodywash
Buy refill get free Olay lotion
Coupon for B1G1 free Olay face wash
1 $1 off Olay bodywash coupon
This triggered the $10 rebate for P&G.
I actually did this order twice- the first time I went to u-scan but the cashier wouldn’t let me use the free lotion & free bodywash coupon because she said I needed to purchase TWO refills. I’m not sure this is the case. The second transaction I just took up to a cashier (because i had many other free coupons and these always take forever at u-scan) and she rang it through no problem. Does anyone know if this is ‘legal’ -meaning can I buy one product and then use two ‘Buy product get this item free’. Does this make sense?

73 Jolyn September 1, 2010 at 9:36 AM

Since you asked, I’ll tell you that it’s not a legal use of coupons. You’re limited to ONE manufacturer coupon per item – and in many cases, this scenario used coupons on items that were already free. For example, since a manu. coupon had already been applied to both the razor and the refill (which required a purchase) you wouldn’t want to stack another free item coupon that requires the purchase of a refill as well. Other bloggers/couponers might recommend a deal like this, but I prefer to stay above the line ethically in couponing. The first cashier was telling you the truth – you would have needed to purchase 1 razor, 3 refills, 2 bodywashes, etc to be able to use the coupons as stated. But no worries – we’re always learning how to use coupons according to store policy!

74 Amber September 1, 2010 at 11:34 AM

Thanks Jolyn!

75 Rachel September 1, 2010 at 11:03 AM

Check out the new $5 off 5 Kraft cheese or Dairy products coupon! Goes great with this weeks catalina promotion. http://brands.kraftfoods.com/kraftcheese/index.html

Buy 10 kraft cheese @ $1.67 each = $16.70. Use 2 $5/5 – pay $6.70 and get $5 catalina. $1.70 for 10 cheeses!! STOCK UP!! :D

76 tiffany September 1, 2010 at 1:30 PM

Does anyone know if the Kraft CAT rolls? Thanks!

77 jen September 1, 2010 at 2:19 PM

I was just going to ask that!

78 Lela September 1, 2010 at 3:49 PM

I try the $5 off for 5 Kraft at the Meijer’s in Livonia and they told me it was counterfiet. Did anyone had success with this? Thanks

79 Jolyn September 1, 2010 at 3:51 PM

It’s not a counterfeit coupon – it’s directly from a Kraft site (or I never would have recommended it). However, because so many participating items are valid with the coupon, it’s apparently not scanning correctly at the register. The computer doesn’t recognize it. You may need to take the list of participating items with you to the register – and be sure to let Kraft know that their coupon is causing problems – perhaps they can code it differently.

80 Lela September 1, 2010 at 4:02 PM

Thanks for replying so quickly, I’ll try your suggestion!

81 Connie September 4, 2010 at 5:46 PM

Commerce Meijer also wouldn’t accept it…saying it was counerfiet.

82 Mike September 1, 2010 at 3:28 PM

The Thai Chicken rice noodle bowls are $1.69 regular price at Rochester Meijer Auburn rd. Talk about a rip off.

83 Rachael September 1, 2010 at 9:12 PM

Can I use a catalina that I already have from a previous offer towards the Kraft cheese deal and still get the $5 catalina? I just want to make sure that this will work so I don’t use the catalina I have and then end up not getting the new one.

84 Erin September 1, 2010 at 10:35 PM

Not sure if anyone cares since it’s not a killer deal, but this week there is a price-drop on Oxi-Clean powder – regularly $7.50 or so down to $6.49. Then there is a printable coupon at the Ox-Clean website to get $1 off the powder, making it $5.49. I know that’s the cheapest I’ve ever bought OxiClean powder and with a husband who loves yardwork and a 18 month old, I need to keep it in my laundry room!

85 brandy September 1, 2010 at 11:19 PM

I am going to try this. $2 biz coupon, plus $2 biz cat at Meijer. Wondering if it will work. Today I had a $2 pampers and $1 pampers cat and that did not work. I’m confused…..

86 Emily September 2, 2010 at 8:18 AM

Usually the cat coupons are manufacturer coupons, so that would be using
2 manufacturer coupons on 1 item, which is not allowed.

87 Bridget September 2, 2010 at 10:46 AM

The yoplait MQ for greek yogurt says do not double, so it would be .69 instead of .39.

88 Jolyn September 2, 2010 at 1:19 PM

Since the bar code begins with 5, this coupon will double when scanned. Your cashier would need to manually enter the coupon to restrict it from doubling, which will happen in about 5% of shopping trips.

89 kathy September 2, 2010 at 12:13 PM

Looks like the Thai Rice Noodle bowls aren’t on price drop anymore :( $1.69 @ our Meijer too! Had a great shopping experience @ Brighton Meijer’s the $5.00 coupon did need approval but, they were familiar with it and processed it with no issue! Also the Taco Bell dinner kits were $1.18 or .18 after coupons………..thanks for all the savings. The Oscar Mayer bologna & salami are 5/$5 or .50 after coupons :)

90 ChristinaN September 2, 2010 at 12:37 PM

I went to VG’s for my free wheat thins and noticed their shredded cheese had peelies that described the whole Kraft coupon for 5/5.00 off and where to find it on their website etc , so Im gonna take it with me showing that its a legit cpn in case I have issues

91 Deanna September 2, 2010 at 4:37 PM

At the end of the Meijer ad it has a list of Catalinas. One was buy 4 Pringles super stacks and receive $1.5 cat. Each can is $.98 if we use the P&G coupon for $1/4 each Pringle can is $.35.

92 Robin September 2, 2010 at 5:37 PM

Quick Question- I always see people in front of me in line that get all kinds of coupons from the CAT machine, like $5 off a 75$ purchase, save on your next clothing purchase, and other manufacturer coupons, but I never receive these. Are they just lucky? Or is it because I use coupons? Or is it because they use a Meijer Credit card? I have always wondered about this!

93 Jolyn September 2, 2010 at 8:52 PM

I seem to get more Catalina coupons when I use my Meijer credit card – and usually get none when I pay with another method. There may be something to that theory.

94 Stacey September 3, 2010 at 1:24 PM

I don’t have a Meijer credit card, but often get these types of coupons. Sometimes they are triggered by purchases (i.e. if I buy Beech-Nut then I get Cats for Gerber), but the ones like get $3 off a $15 meat purchase seem to be completely random. I do have a Meijer keytag that I scan (for Upromise $), so maybe that’s another possibility??

95 ChristinaN September 3, 2010 at 4:27 PM

I dont have the meijer key tag or credit card and I get them regularly when i pay cash or credit. I think some is the item and others I think its random.

96 Tammy September 3, 2010 at 6:36 AM

Deanna
The .98 pringles are not the super stack ones, they have a new name but it slipped my mind. The coupon I had said for super stacks and I believe the cat does as well.

97 Amy September 3, 2010 at 1:15 PM

Just went to Brighton Meijer. They refused my Kraft $5/5 coupon. Said it was fraudulent. They said they had been in contact with Grand Rapids Headquarters all day about it and are no longer accepting them.

98 Amy September 3, 2010 at 1:27 PM

I should mention that I realize that its not fraudulent – but just wanted to let everyone know they are starting to refuse it.

99 Staci September 5, 2010 at 3:06 PM

Does anyone know the mail in address for the “Fill Your Cart Mastercard Offer” from P&G products at Meijer last week? It was the one where you spend $40 of P&G products and get a $10 mastercard? My receipt they printed out was very low on ink and I am missing half of the address! Thank you!

100 Jolyn September 2, 2010 at 10:41 PM

Excellent info, Lisa! Thank you!
