KROGER COUPON POLICY

You can now view the Kroger coupon policy for Michigan online.
Please that Kroger’s coupon policy clearly states in each store ad: Limit 3 Manufacturer’s Coupons will be Doubled (up to $0.50) per Like Items Purchased.

NOTE on Printable Coupons: Some Kroger stores have been denying the redemption of any printable coupon over $1, so proceed with caution when using printable coupons. You can view/print the Kroger Print-at-Home Coupon Acceptance Policy here, which does not specifically restrict the use of printables over $1.

You WILL need a Kroger card to take advantage of these offers; sign up for one at the Customer Service desk if you do not have one!

KROGER SHOPPING TIPS

SELECT Kroger stores outside of Macomb (Grand Blanc, Howell, Frankenmuth and more – view a full list here) will double manufacturer’s coupons up to $1.00! This can mean a great savings (and some potential free items each week). If your travels happen to take you north, check the Kroger ad (search by zip code) for the areas you’re passing through. You just might want to pack your coupons, too! Visit 1-2-3 Save for matchups that include doubles up to $1!

Take your own bags to Kroger and you’ll receive a credit for $0.05 per bag used on your shopping order. You may need to remind your cashier to deduct your credit, however, as the computer will not do it automatically!

Load digital coupons to your Kroger card before you shop: visit Cellfire, P&G eSaver, Shortcuts and Kroger Digital Coupons. Each website lists the e-coupons that can be loaded onto your Kroger Card so that you can save even more! E-coupons are limited to one use per card and will NOT double. Kroger digital coupons may be combined with actual paper manufacturer coupons, according to this response from corporate (the other digital coupon sites restrict it according to policy):

Each store location has the option of using a store or manufacturer’s coupon in addition to a digital coupon – as long as the value of the coupon(s) used does not exceed the purchase price of the item(s).

This post is a proud part of Be Centsable’s Grocery Gathering. Visit the Grocery Gathering for a HUGE free listing of national and local store matchups from around the country, including CVS, Rite Aid, Walgreens, Target, Walmart and more!

1 sherri August 3, 2010 at 9:50 AM

thank you for all your hard work, u make my week easier.

2 Emily August 3, 2010 at 10:02 AM

the coffeemate cream coupon expired 8/2
make sure you buy the oyno school supplies in seperate orders to make sure they work.

3 Tammy August 3, 2010 at 10:12 AM

Just wanted to let you know that the Kerr products coupon says do not double, so the information is misspoken when it says if your store doubles.

4 Whitney August 3, 2010 at 10:58 AM

Tammy – at least at my Kroger, all coupons that normally double (.99 or less at my store) double regardless of the coupon saying “Do not double.” In fact, I’ve always wanted to know why the manufacturer cared if Kroger matched their coupon since it isn’t coming out of the manufacturer’s pocket.

5 Jolyn August 3, 2010 at 2:23 PM

Thank you – I’ve updated.

6 Kristen August 3, 2010 at 10:47 AM

I don’t see a Lucky Charms e-coupon.

Tammy– even DND coupons will usually double unless they start with 9

7 Emily August 3, 2010 at 2:38 PM

You can purchase 8 boxes of crayons and get the oyno coupon.
All my coupons that say do not double were doubled, I went to Howell, their signs
that are posted say they will not double a coupon if it isnt automatically doubled
when they scan a coupon, it does not say they will make the computer not
double a coupon. You may have a few cashiers that are not coupon friendly, remember who they are and choose someone different. I do this at Meijer also with the betty crocker do not double coupons.

8 Jessica August 3, 2010 at 3:14 PM

I was just wondering if anyone can tell me where the energizer flashlights have been located? I was hoping to get a few for my kids (they always want to use dad’s mag light when we are camping) but my kroger only carries 1 flashlight and its $7.99, I even had an associate trying to hunt one down for me…. :/

9 Jolyn August 3, 2010 at 3:37 PM

I’ve seen them at my store in the “battery center,” with the other Energizer batteries. It’s possible that not all stores carry them, however.

10 Carrie from Oikology101 August 5, 2010 at 10:32 AM

My coupon for the energizer flashlight from the 6/13 insert expired on 7/31.

11 Kathy Penzien August 4, 2010 at 10:14 PM

Jessica,
Harbor Freight Tools has a coupon for a free 3 1/2″ super bright nine LED Aluminum Flashlight in the 7-25-10 SS expiring 9/25/10. Their full page ad has had this coupon prior as well. We picked up two prior to boating season so we each could have one in our pocket whenever we needed to get back on the boat in the dark. My two year loves it. It is small but very bright with easy click on and off. I just thought this might help with the camping scenario and the fact that it is free and the coupon states “NO PURCHASE REQUIRED!” The flashlights are kept with the cashiers so it was a quick in and out too! Happy Camping!

12 Jessica August 5, 2010 at 10:10 AM

I guess I have some garbage pickin to do later :( I threw all my insert clippings away yesterday , but thankfully they are all in one recycling bag!!!

13 Emily August 3, 2010 at 5:09 PM

They may say everready which are energizer. They only have one kind and
are usually on the bottom shelf.
fyi- the crayons retail at 2.69 -buy 8 = $21.52 so I wouldnt try 7, it will put you
under the $20 mark, of cource you only pay $2 + tax this week.

14 Colleen August 3, 2010 at 5:50 PM

Just wanted to pass this along. The General Mills Catalina promo is NOT going on this week since they have replaced that promo with the 2 free gallons of milk with the purchase of 4 GM (and other brands). I called the Troy store and the Rochester store. Also, my sister went there and the catalina coupon did not print. Hope you can save yourself the disappointment and hassle and confusion! :)

15 Jolyn August 3, 2010 at 7:10 PM

The GM Catalina could still be working this week, but it’s only valid on specific brands/sizes, none of which apply to the free milk offer.

16 mandi mccann August 3, 2010 at 9:12 PM

here in kentucky they are running 50% off select general mills and quaker cereals – none of the kroger’s dbl more than .50 but should make for good deals between cats, e q’s and mq’s!

17 leann August 5, 2010 at 4:34 PM

They are running the same deal here in Toledo….half price on GM and Quaker today through Sunday. A friend/neighbor told me she bought 9 Fiber 1 at half price for 1.99 then used her 75 cent off coupon. The 9 boxes of cereal were her only items purchased and she also received 2 $4 catalinas for next order. I can’t wait to try it for myself.

18 Colleen August 3, 2010 at 9:32 PM

You’re right Jolyn. I think the Catalina promotion still is working however it just cannot be combined with that milk deal too. Thanks for clarifying. : ) Bummer, that would have been sweet! : )

19 Kristen August 3, 2010 at 10:32 PM

Careful: The Gillete Body wash price is only if you buy 4 P&G items. I only had 3 coupons and didn’t have another P&G on my list so it wasn’t happening here :)

Also– FYI– they have an ad correction for the Washable Crayola Markers. They are NOT part of the $1 sale. Ad correction was at the service desk and not by the product which really annoyed me. I had to take them back. Luckily I noticed my bill was 4 times what I thought it would be and went to customer service right away. She was nice enough to do my refund even though they had technically just closed (never shop late so I had no idea that customer service closes at 10)

20 Colleen August 4, 2010 at 10:26 AM

Gillette shave cream is $1.99 also – part of P & G. With coupons, they are free. I actually had 5 coupons and forgot to take one out, but the cashier used it and I got $2 extra taken off my entire bill…BONUS!!!

21 leann August 6, 2010 at 12:09 AM

do you remember what specific coupon you used to get the gillette shave cream for free? I have 4 of the $2 coupons for gillette proseries skin care products but I didn’t see the pro series kind. Is it just like what is pictured on the coupon?

22 Megan August 4, 2010 at 3:36 PM

I am just wondering where to find the mission corn tortillias? I went shopping today at my local store and could not find them anywhere at that price point. I found some by the cheese in the cooler section and some by the mexican food items, but none at this price. Is there somewhere else I should be looking? Thanks for any help, I could really use these.

23 Jolyn August 4, 2010 at 4:15 PM

It sounds like you looked in all the right places – I’ve found that not all locations carry them. Smaller stores usually don’t have them at all.

24 Megan August 5, 2010 at 12:28 AM

Ohhhh, sounds like I will try the ones over by where I work too then. Thanks for the help. God Bless.

25 Carrie from Oikology101 August 5, 2010 at 10:20 AM

My Cellfire e-coupons had a $0.75/1 for the A&W or Crush Ice Cream Toppers available. Small moneymaker, but moneymaker nonetheless!!

26 Coley August 6, 2010 at 7:08 PM

Got a new catalina promo today: valid 8/9-9/5 – Buy General Mills/Betty Crocker Fruit Shapes, Gushers, Roll-Ups, Stickerz or Fruit by the Foot –
Buy 3, get $1.50
Buy 4, get $2.00
Buy 5, get $3.00

Some sites are saying we’ll see a new Mega Event next week, with the Betty Crocker Fruit snacks being included at $1.99-$0.50 wyb 8. Could make for a good deal!

27 Jolyn August 6, 2010 at 8:45 PM

Thanks, Coley!

28 Emily August 7, 2010 at 11:27 AM

the kroger ad for $1 washable markers was a misprint, its the classic that are $1,
if you buy 6 you should get a $4 oyno because they are regular retail @3.79,
after oyno coupon 6 packs for $2. i have not tried this yet because my Kroger
is out of the $1 markers.
Also sorry for the mess up on the cinnamon toast crunch not being the right
size for the $4 catalina. They were out of it in Howell when I shopped and i should
have known better. The cheerios were not the right sizes and I was bummed because it would have made for dirt cheap multigrain cheerios.
