The Best Deals at Meijer: July 25-31, 2010

IMPORTANT NOTE
Coupon Crazy Chrys will be graciously covering the majority of the Meijer matchups this week as I step away from the computer for some much-needed family time. I’ve listed continuing price drops below, along with my favorite weekly Meijer deals. Be sure to see the rest of the matchups at Coupon Crazy Chrys’ Meijer Deals post. She’s assembled a LONG list of unadvertised price drops that you won’t want to miss!

You’ll find a 10 for $10, get the 11th item FREE sale this week at Meijer. For best results, purchase these items in groups of 11 (mix and match in any combination) to pay about $0.91 each before coupons.

The following Catalina promotion will continue for one more week:

  • Buy $10.00 in any combination of Kellogg’s Products (includes Keebler, Sunshine and Eggo) in one transaction, get $10.00 off any 3 Fruit of the Loom Basics instantly (includes t-shirts, socks and underwear). (valid through July 31)

These deal matchups were calculated using a Meijer Ad for Detroit Area Stores, which double 2 identical coupons up to $0.50 per transaction. I’ll continue to edit this list with UPDATES throughout the week (and deals change often!) so remember to check here again before you shop!

_______________________________________________

*DOUBLE COUPONS – This deal requires a coupon to DOUBLE at Meijer. Note that Metro Detroit Meijer stores will double only 2 identical coupons (up to $0.50) per transaction. See additional notes below.

MEIJER COUPON POLICY

View Meijer’s official coupon policy online here.

  • Metro Detroit Meijer stores will double manufacturer coupons up to $0.50, but no more than 2 identical coupons per transaction. Additional identical coupons and any store coupons will be redeemed at face value. You may want to call your location before shopping to verify. For best savings on multiple items with coupons that will double, divide your order into multiple transactions (this is most easily done at the U-scan).
  • You can print 2 copies of each printable coupon per computer, with some exceptions. Use your back button and refresh the screen if necessary or return to the original coupon link. There is no limit on the amount of Meijer Mealbox store coupons you may print.
  • When a particular advertised sale item is out of stock, be sure to ask your cashier or a customer service assistant for a raincheck.

MEIJER MEALBOX STORE COUPONS

You may want to print a copy of the Meijer Mealbox store policy and keep it with your shopping list to show your cashier (in case they aren’t familiar with corporate policy):

1.) Mealbox coupons may be used in addition to manufacturer coupons.

2.) Mealbox coupons may be used each time a condition is met, which could be multiple times per transaction. (For example: a coupon for $1.00 off 2 soups can be used multiple times if you have a coupon printed and the number of soups purchased matches, i.e. 2 coupons = 4 soups.)

3.) Mealbox coupons cannot be doubled or tripled at any time.

4.) Stores have the right to limit the quantity of items to normal retail purchases per transaction.

I tried to use the Froot of a Loom deal last week, and just an FYI, not all Meijer stores carry Froot of a Loom brand products. I went in Rochester and they only carry Hanes.

2 ashley July 24, 2010 at 7:50 AM

Enjoy your time off! Thanks for all you do!

3 Rita July 24, 2010 at 8:16 AM

have an awesome break..looks like my Meijer break continues.:)

4 Kristen July 24, 2010 at 8:59 AM

Has anyone found a Meijer with Fruit of the Loom MEN’s products? Rochester (Adams) has no FOTL
Auburn Hills has no Men’s

Oxford perhaps?? That would be the next closest to me.

5 Stacey July 28, 2010 at 9:05 PM

It might be a bit far for you, but the Hall/Hayes store has lots of Men’s FOTL products. I found them in the actual aisle, though – not in the special display area at the front (those were all kids’ items).

6 Michelle July 29, 2010 at 12:06 PM

I just went to the one at Rochester and Auburn and they have them.

7 Jen July 30, 2010 at 12:16 PM

I went to the one in Royal Oak yesterday and found alot of Fruit of the Loom and some of it was on sale 1.50 off. The store is on Coolidge south of 15 mile. Seems closer to Troy but mailing address is RO. Just as a side note too, that store had the wrong sinage dispalyed so I learned next month, August they will have the same deal but for Nabisco and Hanes!

8 Laura July 24, 2010 at 9:50 AM

They had the Fruit of the Loom men’s products here in Holland, Mi. Just a tip: when purchasing school supplies, try the glue sticks. The rubber cement is just awful – it’s sticky, comes out like melted cheese (all gooey), and has a horrible smell. As a teacher, I never use it either. Glue sticks work great. Enjoy that family time!!!

9 Beth G. July 24, 2010 at 11:28 AM

There is a $0.75/1 Coffeemate coupon at http://www.coffee-mate.com/offers/default.aspx, not as good as the 50 cents off but if you already used that one this will still make it very cheap.

10 shannon July 24, 2010 at 11:30 AM

I have saw in other post that Kelloggs cereal will be on sale for $ 2/5 but for certain cereals. One is Fiber Plus Berry Yogurt which is great. It had a try me free form on the one I tried. I have already did the Kelloggs and Fruit od Loom deal and will do it again.I want get the try me free again because it is only one per household but will use $1/1 coupon for fiber plus and the fruit of loom coupon from All You August edition to score another great deal. You all have to try this cereal.

11 BarbB July 24, 2010 at 11:46 AM

Yes :) Thank you! I really appreciate all that you do and I do hope that you’ll enjoy the time off with your family. Relax & Have a great week!

Check this, but I believe BarS Blololgna is one of the 10 for 10, printable coupon:
http://www.bar-s.com/coupons/
I printed a Blolgna coupon yesterday.

14 Teresa July 24, 2010 at 12:42 PM

oops, I missed it under meat. never mind

15 Tracie July 24, 2010 at 4:56 PM

They also have Kahiki frozen foods 2/10. I got both at coupon.com, 1 expires 9/6 the other 10/6. A dollar off on both. Don’t know if that’s a good deal, but if I can feed a family of five for $4 to $8, it’s seems good to me.

16 amy July 27, 2010 at 10:38 AM

These are awesome little lunches. Thanks for the info – bought 3 last night. They don’t get any cheaper than a buck.

17 amy July 27, 2010 at 10:39 AM

I should clarify – the individual meals are on sale for $2 – use the $1 off Q to get them for a buck.

18 Tracie July 24, 2010 at 5:15 PM

That is incorrect. I am sorry. My sleep deprived, goofy self was looking at next weeks matchups with this weeks ads.

19 Natasha July 25, 2010 at 10:52 AM

For those that don’t have the .50 coupon for coffeemate creamer, you can go to coffeee-mate.com & print a .75 off coupon if you sign up. Making your total cost .25, still a good deal!

20 Emily July 26, 2010 at 6:31 PM

meijer graham crackers 1.89 thru 9/5 .50 meijermealbox.com
ziploc 50ct sandwich 1.39 use .40 paper

22 Emily July 26, 2010 at 6:52 PM

brands.kraftfoods.com/delideluxe $1/1 2.50 + use $1/2 meijerlunchbox
brands.kraftfoods.com/breakstones .55/1 24oz is 2.69thru 8/28
The deli fresh slices are also 2.50 and if you can print from 2 computers, print 4 cheese because there is another $1/2 lunchbox coupon for these
buy 4 cheese and 1 sour cream =$12.69 – coupons(6.55)= $6.14 get
back $5 oyno coupon = 1.14
the deli fresh slices arent actually listed on the list for the oyno, I am brave enough to try it and exchange it if it doesnt work, but I am not shopping again until the end of the week, so this is only if you want to try it. You can get
4 deli deluxe and use only 1 lunchbox coupon and pay $1 more if you want a safe bet.

23 Emily July 27, 2010 at 7:42 PM

it worked
1 breakstone sour cream 16oz reg price 1.59 use .55 ip
2 deli deluxe slices @ 2.50 use (2)$1 ip + $1/2 meijer lunchbox
2 deli slices @ 2.50 use (2)$1 ip(need 2 computers) + $1/2 meijer lunchbox

total after coupons = $5.04 get back $5 oyno

24 Michelle July 29, 2010 at 7:40 AM
25 Marie July 28, 2010 at 8:03 AM

i don’t see the deli deluxe coupon on mealbox….

26 Kristen July 28, 2010 at 9:34 AM

It isn’t a mealbox coupon. It is a lunchbox coupon which is the little coupon book that they pass out at the sample stations sometimes on the weekends. Unfortunately, if you don’t have one there is no way to get one now.

27 Marie July 28, 2010 at 10:02 AM

ok, thank you kristen. :)

28 Teresa S July 28, 2010 at 12:57 PM

I can’t find the internet coupon for the Betty Crocker Suddenly Salad. Do I need to put in a specific zip code? Thanks! (I’m new to this.)

29 Jolyn July 28, 2010 at 2:08 PM

I’m guessing that the coupon has reached its print limit between this weekend and today (and you’re doing nothing wrong – it simply disappeared).

The Suddenly Salad coupon appears to be available to print at this link:
http://www.bettycrocker.com/coupons-promotions/coupons/coupons

30 Jolyn July 29, 2010 at 4:48 PM

Well, I finally had a chance to check and the Suddenly Salad coupon is still available at the first link, so I’ve added that one back in. I always use the Macomb zip code (48044), but it should be available with every zip code. Click on “Foods” to bring it closer to the front.

31 Lisa July 28, 2010 at 11:18 PM

I love this web site. My cousin turned me onto it 2 weeks ago. Thanks for doing this for us and have a great vacation!

32 Michelle July 29, 2010 at 12:09 PM

I just went to the Meijer at Roch. and Auburn and their shelves were COMPLETELY stocked. I have never had such success finding everything I wanted. And the cashier I used knew how to ring up coupons. What a relief. Also, they have the Fruit of the Loom that I know many people were looking for.

33 leann July 29, 2010 at 2:29 PM

My Maumee Meijer last night had the Dean’s Ranch Dip marked at $1 for the large container. I used the Deans 75 cent off coupon that was coming out from the cash register awhile back. Oddly enough they rang in at 1 cent each. I bought 3 of them and used 3 of my 75 cent coupons. So I made money on the deal. In the end with coupons the total was $42 without tax and then with coupons it came to 59 cents.

34 trisha July 29, 2010 at 7:14 PM

how do i get the coupons that dont have a website next to it? just says ss or pg??

35 Jolyn July 29, 2010 at 9:10 PM

If you look at the abbreviation key on the right-hand side of the website, you’ll see that SS and PG stand for varieties of coupon inserts found each week in the Sunday newspaper (SmartSource, RedPlum and Procter & Gamble). It’s a good idea to grab a paper or two each Sunday so that you can start collecting coupons to save on future shopping trips.

36 trisha July 30, 2010 at 10:22 AM

ok thanks. so these are in the paper.
