_______________________________________________

*DOUBLE COUPONS - This deal requires a coupon to DOUBLE at Meijer. Note that Metro Detroit Meijer stores will double only 2 identical coupons (up to $0.50) per transaction. See additional notes below.

MEIJER COUPON POLICY

View Meijer’s official coupon policy online here.

  • Metro Detroit Meijer stores will double manufacturer coupons up to $0.50, but no more than 2 identical coupons per transaction. Additional identical coupons and any store coupons will be redeemed at face value. You may want to call your location before shopping to verify. For best savings on multiple items with coupons that will double, divide your order into multiple transactions (this is most easily done at the U-scan).
  • You can print 2 copies of each printable coupon per computer, with some exceptions. Use your back button and refresh the screen if necessary or return to the original coupon link. There is no limit on the amount of Meijer Mealbox store coupons you may print.
  • When a particular advertised sale item is out of stock, be sure to ask your cashier or a customer service assistant for a raincheck.

MEIJER MEALBOX STORE COUPONS

You may want to print a copy of the Meijer Mealbox store policy and keep it with your shopping list to show your cashier (in case they aren’t familiar with corporate policy):

1.) Mealbox coupons may be used in addition to manufacturer coupons.

2.) Mealbox coupons may be used each time a condition is met, which could be multiple times per transaction. (For example: a coupon for $1.00 off 2 soups can be used multiple times if you have a coupon printed and the number of soups purchased matches, i.e. 2 coupons = 4 soups.)

3.) Mealbox coupons cannot be doubled or tripled at any time.

4.) Stores have the right to limit the quantity of items to normal retail purchases per transaction.

    kim delange says:

Thanks! You might also want to note that there was an additional Mrs. Dash coupon for $1 off ground beef for buying Mrs. Dash. Might be a good week to use it, even if the ground beef is not on sale (I don’t mark my ads, I clip them, but I am positive it was the same insert)

  2. 3

I got this cat today… canisters and singles are pictured, so it pairs with the sale.

Buy any 3 or more Kool-Aid or Tang Drink Mixes (excludes Kool-Aid 2 qt. envelopes) in one transaction, get a coupon for 1 FREE Kool-Aid Fun Fizz Drink Drops (5 ct.) on your next shopping trip. Valid 6/20-7/17.

  3. 5

this may be a silly question….. but, i like the yoplait deal… BUT 20 yogurts is an awful lot to eat before expiring for me… can yogurt be frozen?

    • 6

I thought people often freeze the Whips variety and eat it like ice cream. I don’t think the regular will fare as well, but they’d be like pudding/yogurt pops! It can be frozen, but you want to eat it frozen, I believe.

      • 7

We freeze the plain yougart 32 oz containers all the time. My husband prefers it frozen. Taste’s & looks like sorbet. I have found it only lasts about 10 days in the freezer then once it thaws its is quite runny.

    • 10

Yes and the kids love it too!!!

    • 11

We freeze yogurt all the time and have kept it frozen for months. The consistancy is a little runnier when it’s thawed but the taste is pretty much the same. I especially do it when there is yogurt marked 75% off because it expires in a few days. It definitely works well in blended drinks as someone else has said.

  4. 12

oh— i was also going to comment about the Skippy… there’s a .75/2 internet coupon that was available at some point over the past few weeks, expires middle of July… will make that deal a little nicer… (i wish the meijer coupon was available for just a couple more days!!)

  5. 14

i went to meijer tonight. and the guy at the check-out told me that because of all the fraud in coupons lately, meijer might stop doubling coupons. not sure if this even makes sense. has anyone else heard this? or is this something commonly said and never done? just curious. i for one would be very sad if this happened.

  6. 16

Just wanted to say THANKS for all your time with this – it’s so, so helpful to me!!! Also, one tip: I no longer have children in diapers but did use the $2 Pampers wipes coupon and purchased the sensitive variety (no fragrance). At my Meijer store they were $2.18. So, for $.18 I got a package of wipes that my teen daughter can use for her hands when using makeup – otherwise I end up with brownish foundation on my towels – eww. She uses normal make up remover for her face, of course, but these cheap wipes are great for getting the foundation off her fingers. Happy day!

    • 17

I don’t have any kids, but I like to keep a container of wipes in my car. They’re great for quick clean ups and I use them to freshen up after a long walk at the park. I also took advantage of the 18 cent deal. They’ll be going to some co-workers who have kids or grandkids. Nobody is going to turn down free wipes when they have little ones!

    • 18

I send wipes to my son-in-law, who is a Marine and deployed to afghanistan. They use wipes for bathing, they do not have facilities to take showers and very much dependent on us sending them. Any serviceman deployed would appreciate all the wipes you can send them!

  7. 19
    Francie says:

I have two of the $.60/2 coupons for the Skippy & was going to use them this past week at Walgreens. Glad I didn’t, this turns it into $.80 each with this deal!!

  8. 20

Where is the Skippy coupon located- or is there not one available?

    • 21

There’s not a current Skippy coupon available, or I’d definitely list it! There were some available for printing last month, but they’ve since disappeared. Only those who printed last month would have them to spend.

  9. 22

Has anyone bought the Heinz Vinegar? I’m having a hard time finding. I’ve been to 2 stores, 1 of which I even had stock people helping me and we couldn’t find it. Please let me know if you found it and where abouts was it was at.

    • 23

I’ve found it at every location I’ve tried. It’s usually in the aisle with salad dressings and pickles.

    • 24

I couldn’t find it either, just meijer brand in the dressing/pickle isle. Didn’t ask an employee, will next time.

    • 25
      Lynette says:

I found it last week in the salad dressing aisle and it was by the meijer brand vinegar

    • 26
      Christina G. says:

I found it with the Mieijer brand hidden behind a one of those hanging displays. It was difficult for me to find as well!

  10. 27

My meijer in Midland Michigan will no longer take the computer printed smartsource coupons. I checked twice with customer service….bummer

    • 28

      Lynne
The Saginaw and Mt.Pleasant locations still take them

    • 29

I agree, bummer! I live in Midland too. But the still seemed to take ones from Coupons.com,

      • 30
        Tracy N. says:

I’m A Midland girl also and I try to do most of my shopping at Kroger in Bay City or Saginaw. They double to $1 and I find some great stuff. They don’t make me feel like I’m stealing either. Honest me always gets that feeling a Meijer in Midland. Meijer is getting very picky. I think we should complain to the manager. Target also is great about taking coupons. I try to not give my business to places that make me feel uncomfortable becuse I’m trying to save a buck!!

        • 31

It might help if those of you who shop (or used to shop) Midland Meijer contacted corporate about the way this store is treating couponers. If enough of you point out the problem, Meijer will eventually make something happen. Other shoppers have had luck sitting down with the manager directly as well.

          • 32
            Tracy N. says:

I have sent a message to meijer on their website. They have contacted me and are forwarding the message to the store manager. I encourage those of you who want to continue using coupons at Meijer to do the same before they refuse to accepting any printables.

  11. 33

The Skippy peanut butter is now in smaller containers (16.3 oz compared to previous 18 oz). Still a decent deal, but worth noting.

Thanks for the Coles and Kikkoman posts!

  12. 34

The Kikkoman offer does work on the GLAZE, confirmed!

  13. 35
    Nicksmom0724 says:

Can you mix and match the Skippy & Ragu to get 6 total and still get the $3 off instantly? Or does it have to be 6 of one product?

Thanks for all your help, postings, time, tips and devotion!!!!!

the heluva good parmesan and garlic is fantastic and tastes like tastefully simples garlic garlic dip. Just an FYI

Also, has anyone used the beech nut baby food? We have always used Gerber and Earth’s Best but it is sooooo expensive Any comments would be helpful

    • 48

Where is the Heluva dip located??? thanks for the heads up on flavor!

I used Beech Nut with my son. We actually liked it better than other brands b/c it isn’t as runny!

      Rebecca says:

I used earths best with my first son, made my own baby food for my 2nd, and this time I mostly bought beechnut. It seems fine, and they often have $4/10 sales. When I registered on their website a couple months back, they mailed me coupons for a free box of cereal and 2 or 3 jars of food!

    • 52

I always rotated between Gerber & Beech-Nut, depending on which was on sale. Beech-Nut does send lots of coupons via email (they’ll come monthly when you register online), and my kids didn’t seem to care which brand we bought. :) And IMO, their cereal boxes were much more user-friendly than Gerber.

Does anyone know what a good price for Kingsford charcoal is? Or where the best place to buy it is? I’m hoping for some good sales right before the 4th. Thanks.

  21. 54

Just wanted to let you know of a deal I got this morning at the Grand Ledge store – Best Life Buttery Spread for $0.99 and I used the $1 coupon from the paper a few weeks back. Thanks for all your work on these match ups!

    Stacy Shaeffer says:

Was at Meijer today and got an unusual CAT and wanted to share. I am not sure which of my purchases produced this CAT so maybe we can figure it out together!

    I bought:
    General Merchandise:
    (2) pairs of girls tights
    (2) leotards
    (1) skirt
    (1) girls accessory
*daughter is starting dance next month!
    (1) Meijer brand sleep aid (100ct)

    GROCERY
Minute Maid-the big juice box pack for $9.99
    (2) Meijer brand chips $2 ea.
    (2) Gregory’s Boxed Iced Tea ($4.79 ea)

The CAT I received was for a FREE 8.5 X 11 everyday photo book expires on 7/24/10 and must be made in the Meijer Photo Center.

Any ideas which item could have generated this CAT?

  23. 58

I got the same cat today and I bought my son approximately $30 worth of clothes

And don’t forget the new Rochester Hills Meijer still has Grand Opening specials. Highlights: $1.49 gal. Milk, 99c tomatoes, broccoli or cauliflower, $4.99 lb Sara Lee Deli Turkey, $1.99 Bob Evans sausage roll (coupons in 5-16 SS), $8.99 Tide (6-6 PG coupon), Angel Soft 1/2 price (.50 coupon 5-23 RP), Earthbound Farms Organic Salads 2/$4 (if you got the Earthbound bag there was $1 off coupon).

  25. 62

I just found a good deal on Mt Olive pickles. They are $2 in the ad and there’s a mealbox Q for $1 off of two. In addition Krogers has peelies for .50 which makes the .50 each if your Meijers doubles!

    • 63

I just found the $0.50 Mt Olive Blinkie machine coupons at Kroger – they’re marked do not double and the code begins with 9, so the computer won’t double them for you at Meijer. Still a good deal at $1.00/jar!

      • 64

Oh you’re right about them not doubling! I am still getting them though. My hubby packs pickles every day in his lunch and unfortunately my teenage son eats them as snacks.

    • 65

My Meijer (Waterford) has coupons attached to the jars for $1.00 off of 2. Woooo!!!!!

  26. 66

I got a meijer printout coupon during checkout for 1.75 off 2 Kikkoman Marinade’s when I used the deal listed above (in addition to the $1 catalina). If I go back this week with some more coupons, I’ll be making ($1 I think)

    • 67

I got that one, too! :) It’s a manufacturer coupon as well, so you’ll need to decide whether to use the $1.75/2 coupon or two $1.00/1 coupons.

  27. 68

Check you catalina COUPONS from Meijers for Velveeta Shells & Cheese $1.00 off makes them FREE if you have two (I did!) Thanks for all your hardwork on the match ups – especially the bird seed, that’s pretty rare!

  28. 69

What zip code to I need to use to get the bird seed?

    • 70

I always use the zip code for Macomb: 48044

    • 71

hi there, when i use zip 08821 i can print a 2.00 off coupon for the bird seed and then i punch in 48240 and i can also print a 3.00 off of 2 coupon, the first one makes it .50 a bag and the second 1.00, my friendly birds will be well fed this week.

      • 72

I did try your 08821 zip for the $2 coupon for bird seed and it was gone. I did print out the other coupons for $3/2 and it was so fun to get my bird seed or should I say squierrel seed for a buck. I saved so much on seed that I splurged and bought myself the bird water feeder that I have been wanting for so long. Happy day! Thanks Jolyn!!

At the Canton store, the Malt-o-Meal Blueberry Muffin Top flavored cereal is on clearance for $1.19/bag. If you use the MB $1.00/2, along with (2) of the $0.75 coupons from Jolyn’s link, the deal turns into a money maker.

    $1.19 x 2 = $2.38
    -$1.00 MB = $1.38
    -$1.50 manf = $0.12 MM

You need to hand the cashier the MB coupon first before scanning your manf coupons, or it won’t work out correctly.

  30. 74

Courtney – Home Depot and Lowes did Kingsford deals Memorial weekend. I would expect a similar deal for the 4th. Lowes was BOGO free, $8 per bag, limit 4 bags total. So $4 a bag. Home Depot ended up being just a bit more in their price from what I remember.

There were some printables out there, not sure how I got them – Buy Kingsford and you could get a free bottle of Hidden Valley Ranch or a Gladware product. Obviously won’t work at Lowes, but if you do buy it at the grocery you could get that deal

      Courtney says:

Thank you Teresa. I wouldn’t have thought to look there, but I will definitely keep an eye out for a good sale next week.

Jolyn ~ Do you advise us to always scan our Meijer Mealbox coupons before our manuf. coupons? I have been having a lot of trouble with getting the MMB coupons to scan without cashier help. The cashiers in U-Scan do say that the MMB ones often don’t scan on their own, so maybe it doesn’t matter either way. Thanks for your help.

      • 76

I’ve found that almost every Mealbox coupon is flagged at Uscan for cashier intervention. It’s still not a bad idea to scan Mealbox coupons first, since they can’t be adjusted down (if necessary) like a manufacturer coupon can. I usually have better luck in a regular checkout (as opposed to the Uscan). It’s just my experience, but I think coupons can sometimes be more closely scrutinized at the Uscan.

Today at the Meijer at Auburn and Rochester the gallon milks are on sale for $1.49 (excludes chocolate). Very exciting.

    • 78

Yes! That Meijer is honoring the Grand Opening Specials found at the new Rochester Hills store on S. Adams.

  32. 79

I have a smartsource coupon from machine (blinkiie?) for red baron’s pizza and a manufacturers coupon for red baron pizza. Can I combine those coupons??

    • 80

Unfortunately, no. They’re both manufacturer coupons. To combine, one of them would need to be a store (Meijer) coupon.

  33. 81

Found a great deal on Eggo waffles today… they are on price cut through 6-26 for $1.67. Use 3 of the $1/2 coupons from 6-20 RP and 2 of the $1/3 MMB coupons, and you’ll get 6 of them for $5 ($0.83 each). My kids are so excited to have Eggos back in the freezer with all of these recent deals. :)

  34. 82

I received this cat advertisement yesterday… obviously it would depend on a Coca-Cola sale over the next few weeks to make it worthwhile, but it would be a little extra savings!

Buy any 2 Minute Maid Fridge Packs in a single transaction and receive a $1.00 checkout coupon valid on your next purchase. Buy 3, get $2.00; buy 4 or more, get $3.00. (6/25-7/18)

  35. 83

Bought Smart Balance Fat Free Milk yesturday at Meijer & received a catalina for a free one. Didn’t know this was running again so have to go back for more. My Meijer still has it for $3.99 & if you use the $2 manuf & the $1 MMB it is only .99 per half gal. (MMB exp 6/26) This milk is absolutely delicious!

  36. 84

I printed out 2 Dove hair product coupons for $1 each with no size restriction and got 2 travel hairsprays for free. I also printed out 2 axe $1 coupons and those could have been used for the travel size body wash for free or the travel deoderant would be 19 cents each. Those of us with teenage boys know what a treasure that is.

  37. 85

The Thomas english muffins are 2.50 at my store and b1g1. Can I use the MMB coupon on the free english muffins or would that just be allowed on the paid ones?

    • 86

As far as I know, the computer will only accept coupons on paid items, not those that ring up as free. Mealbox coupons could be different, but generally the computer won’t deduct it since you’re already getting the 2nd item free.
