Many of you have wondered about verification for this deal, which was advertised exclusively on in-store signs, like the one you see here (Thanks, Hillbilly Frugal!):

so excited woo hoo!
can you get 6 and two packs of water or is it one per transaction. Thank you !
Limit one per transaction.
sorry..didnt read enough…Thanks!
Does it count for the pure fitness also?
It may. Reports vary, since the offer specifies 10 ct Crystal Light To Go packages and Pure Fitness is only 7 ct. Some people said it worked great for them, others had trouble. But it’s possble that they were taking the incorrect type of Meijer water with them to the register as well.
@Jolyn, Update – it DOES work correctly even with the Pure Fitness 7 ct AS LONG as you purchase the correct 12 pk 16.9 oz Meijer Spring water bottles.
When does this offer end??
Saturday, May 22 is the last day to take advantage of this offer.
I went to the Maumee store last night and there was no sign posted for the free water so I didn’t do the deal. I did however do the 3 miracle whip and get a free bag of potatoes and there was no sign posted for that. I figured I’d give it a try and it worked so now I am thinking I’ll go back tonight and try the Crystal Light deal but I do not know what water to get. The only Meijer 12 pak of spring water that I saw was very small bottles. It didn’t seem likely to me that those would be the right ones. Are those the correct bottles that you have picked up? It is so frustrating when they do not post the deals. It is not listed in the paper either but neither was the free potatoes. Combined with the $1 off 2 lunch spot store coupons (miracle whip and crystal light) this makes for a great deal.
Remember that you won’t be able to use both the Crystal Light Mealbox coupon and the Lunchspot coupon at the same time, since they’re both Meijer store coupons.
You’ll need to buy Meijer Brand Spring Water (12 pack 0.5 Liter (16.9 oz) bottles). They may not be re-stocking this as quickly. Some shoppers had to ask for a raincheck or asked to substitute two 6-packs in its place.
Pure Fitness 7 count boxes and free water worked for me in East Lansing. Okemos doesn’t seem to offer the Pure Fitness, but they didn’t have any Meijer spring water in stock either. Fortunately the customer service person was great and gave me a rain check for a free water 12 pack because I went ahead and “bought” the regular 10-count boxes of Crystal Light.
good to know- was going to hit up Okemos today- hopefully they have restocked.
Thanx Jolyn! I tried it tonight and it worked for me. I wish I would have tried it sooner as I have already bought 6 with out the free water. I just didn’t want to take the risk without there being any sign posted or anything listed in the paper.
I did it tonight at the Bowling Green, OH store. I did 3 transactions, and had 1 box of the Pure Fitness in one of the transactions. They were out of the 12 packs of water, but the guy from the meat counter called someone and checked to see if they had any in the back. They did not, but they gave the ok for me to get (2) 6 packs instead. It worked beautifully! 9 boxes of Crystal Light and 36 bottles of water total for a grand total of $ .60! ($ .20 a transaction for the tax)
I thought there is no tax on food items…there is no tax on my receipt?
You’re right – food items are not taxable in Michigan.
