I just wanted to drop a line to say thanks sooo much for putting together these match-ups every week. I you do an awesome job & have saved me so much money. Thank you for being so thorough in finding both newspaper & printable coupons for each item. I’ve been to other sites that do match-ups, but I think you do the absolute best job for Meijer. I do have one question. How do you know what the catalina deals are for the week? I live in Ohio & our ad doesn’t list them anywhere on it that I can find. Again thanks so much for your very hard work each week (Meijer has big sale ads & I know this must take a chunk of time to compile.)
Thanks, Brenda! I think I need to work up a post about that. Catalina offers aren’t posted/recorded anywhere in an official capacity – that’s one of the reasons I try to keep a current list. I find my information through afullcup.com along with reader reports. Often a Catalina ad will print at the register which tells about an upcoming checkout coupon offer – when readers receive those, they email and share them with me so that I can post. It makes it difficult when Meijer customer service wants you to show them where you saw it (my site isn’t a valid/official source), but it’s the best we can do for now.
And you’re right – Meijer takes up a HUGE chunk of my time! I’m just glad that others can benefit from the time I dedicate to it!

I went to the Meijer’s in Southfield and after shopping and buying five Kelloggs cereal I didn’t get the catalina either so I went to customer service to return 2 of the cererals. I explained that I thought I was getting a $4 cat for buying 5 cererals. Without even questioning me or asking any questions she said, keep the cereal and here’s 2-$2.50 off coupons for your trouble! I think the coupon is good until 2011 or 2012… it does have certain numbers next to the games, so not 100% sure if it will work on the card games the same way the one from the paper does.
Does anyone know where in Meijer you can find the MaruchanYakisoba Noodle products? I have looked everywhere with no success! Thanks~
In my store, they’re with the Asian products (soy sauce, etc) and ramen noodles.
Colleen, I was wondering the same thing about the coupon that is inside the box of the Pictureka. It gives the appearance of it working for the fullsize games, not the deck of cards. If anyone has used the $5 coupon inside the deck then please post.

I totally agree with the one of the pp…I’ve seen other sites/blogs, but I love the way you do the Meijer match-ups compared to others (with the color-coding and all.) Eventhough I’m in OH (doubles up to .99), I still use “MMS” (Macombmoneysavers) to find all my Meijer deals. More power to you!

The Meijer at Hall & Hayes has the Apple Cinnamon Glade Sense n Sprays for $1.69! It looks like they were restocked since last week. The tag shows them at a $5.99 price break, but when I scanned them (and bought them) they were $1.69. I also had no problem using my coupons. The $2 catalina has ended or it would be even better!
